TheRapidsNerd
That is most high off the ground, yet it does look like fun. Dunno, this might be the part where I opt for more Smokey Mountain Rampage ERT. Enjoying the updates and thanks as always for taking time to post them. Much appreciated. moinab
Even though I have a miserable fear of heights, I am fascinated with zip lines and really want to try one!
HerBlackWings
^^We opted out of Thunderhead...in favor of the topple tower and assorted shows.
disneymoc
It also helps that we were also featured on local news. LOL Theme Park Review on WDEF News, Chattanooga,TN I posted this earlier in the thread. I was the one that made the media contacts for you guys. Also, make sure you don't miss the video on the Times Free Press Web site.
ernierocker
What about thunderhead?? you guys didn't do that?? Did you miss the part in his update where Robb mentioned we had ERT on Thunderhead? Also, did you miss the part where Robb said he will have to do the Dollywood update in separate parts because he had so many pictures. Be patient, the group got many GREAT rides on Thunderhead and I am sure it will be featured in due time.

BigThunder Man
The Zipline was a blast. I was on the second group to go up but no one brought there camera with them so all we have is the pictures we purchased. Eli was not the only "Man Down" on the zipline. The last platform you zip to is very steep and I had to "slide into home" to make that one. If your over 6' tall (I'm 6'4") be prepaired for difficult landings. moinab
Oh the Morgan Video! That'll never get old! Agreed! Although the continuing need for it certainly does. Too bad there isn't a way to automatically filter, like "fluffy fluffy bunny filled with medicine and goo."
dammie16@vt.edu
Did they let you take a camera on that zipline? It looks like a good reason to return to Dollywood, aside from the fact that I love TH and MM Chris "Hoping for awesome helmet POV on the DVD" Damm
generaleclectic
I wish they had let us take a camera on the zipline with is. All we have is snapshots.

generaleclectic
The zipline was so cool! It takes place on a course with 3 platforms. Each line on each platform increases in length and speed. One gets a really good view of the park below. The thrill is like no other.

jcrouse
Renee, Thanks for posting the shot of Group #2 - I wish they would have let us bring a camera out there! Eli was not the only "Man Down" on the zipline. The last platform you zip to is very steep and I had to "slide into home" to make that one. If your over 6' tall (I'm 6'4") be prepaired for difficult landings. Leon, the memory of you busting your a$$ on the launch platform will happily stay with me forever - Sha-Kon-O-Hey!! Although, I did trip over my own feet at launch station #2 - so I'm no vision of grace either...
