robbalvey
Hey everyone! We made it to Atlanta!!!! Today was our "Arrival Day" which meant many of us were dealing with Redeye flights and jet lag. We took it easy and just hung out at some of the Atlanta touristy attractions - World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium, and then a Waffle House take over. Photos? You bet! Day Zero - Georgia Aquarium & World of Coke Day One - Dixieland and FIREWORKS!!! Day Two - Carowinds & A Photo Contest! Day Three - Dollywood Part 1 Day Three - Dollywood Part 2 - SkyZip! Day Three - Dollywood Part 3 - Blazin' Fury Tour! Day Four - Time in Pigeon Forge! Day Five - Lake Winnie Photos & Cannonball Video! Day 5, Part 2 - Alabama Adventure & Rampage Video! Day 6 - Six Flags Over Georgia - Photos and FIVE videos!!! And yes, this update has been brought to you by amazing, heart stopping, Rich Friendly, delicious, refreshing Coca-Cola! "...about halfway up the shaft there was a horrific bang!" WAFFLE HOUSE TAKE OVER!!! Waffle House and McDonald's together! The only better combo would be an Intamin woodie and a porn shop! Next stop...Alton Brown's house! Well, not really...but we wish! "Smell Me!!!" In the Coke store you can buy lots of delicious, refreshing Coke stuff. OMG!!! THE LIPS FURRIES ARE ATTACKING! Kinky in England! Oh, yeah! "Even though this stuff tastes like the inside of a rectal thermometer, and Robb made me drink it, I still love him!" "Did I just drink stomach bile?" "I'm just going to vomit..." "I'm not sure if I should laugh or vomit!" Eli takes the drink... Now the time has come...BEVERLY!!! Wait, never mind, this is like hot wild sex with hot barely legal teenage girls! This was like liquid sex. "Delaware Punch???" In HONDURAS?!?!? Fanta Apple...YUM! This is the heart of World of Coke. Samples of random Coke products from all over the world. And yes, you all know what is coming! "Hi there I'm slightly creepy, but totally awesome!" This was one of the most awesome costume character we ever saw! Eyes open and closed, mouth moved, head moved, etc, etc. Yes, the entire Deep South Trip is brought to you by refreshing, delicious Coca-Cola. It's even refreshing in Pakistan. And now...the world of refreshing Coca-Cola. We shared some very special moments in the "fondle pond!" "Hi, Rich, how's it going?" OMG! It's a multi-purpose spoon! You can do SO MANY things with this spoon! Apparently the fork only had one purpose though. Why didn't it called the Shark Whale? This really was a seriously kick a$$ aquarium too. Some of the nicest exhibits of fish and random ocean stuff we've ever seen. No, really, it's a **BIG** EFFING FISH!!! This is the world's biggest fish. It's called a "Whale Shark." Because the gene splicing fish scientists couldn't agree on what it is, so they called it a Whale Shark. Next they will make a Cat Pig! That's right REAL BIG FISH! (pun intended) The Georgia Aquarium was amazing! And guess what we saw here? "Hey Big Mike...where are you?" **BANG!!!** (too soon?) The TPR bus was here to pick up the group! Well, maybe just Robb. It was easy to get around because we all had the Marta map tattooed on our stomach. Next stop...The Marta Station! OMG! They finally make a sequel to The Parking Spot! Towely? "Hi, I'm Michael J. Fox and I am PISSED OFF!!!" This is creepy. Yes...yes it is. Welcome to Atlanta! Shirley Franklin says so.
HEADCHEEZ
Beverly = DEATH! Great pictures! The World of Coke over there looks 10 times better than the stupid one here in Vegas that robbed me of $20!

dandaman
Waffle House? Orange-scented t-shirts? Green apple soda that someone still makes?! You haven't visited a single damn amusement park and you've already made me regret being not aggressive enough in asking to go on this trip. Pufferfish
Well, I'm getting up in less than 6 hours to get to work so that I can help deliver some very awesome ERT. It's going to be great seeing you all and I will probably be able to hang around with y'all for a bit after ERT. I tried to get the ability to have Robb certified to drive during ERT, but for some reason or another no one approved. Oh well, see you all at Afterburn at 8:15 am. Oh one more little tidbit, for all you acers out there, the seats for people who ate a little too much gravy are in rows 3, 4, 5, and 6. See you all in 8 hours . itnotfair
Ack, the Beverly! My gf and I tried it at the Coke store in Vegas and these girls next to us were literally spying on us to see our reactions, and when we nearly hurled, they were like "HAHAHAHA!" Actually, we thought it was funny, so we started spying on other people, too. Also, Alton is the shizzle.
Jojo19799
Awwwww I'm missing all the fun!!! I wish I could have gone on this trip. Have fun you guys, I will be looking forward to the next installment. Is it weird that I actually want to try Beverly, even though I know it's going to taste so foul, I'll never want to drink another Coke product EVER again? jkwan
I'm glad you guys enjoyed the aquarium. When did you guys go? It's been so long since I've been to the World of Coke. I need to go because the last time I went there was when it was at their old location.
CoasterDude211
After seeing these photos, I'm really bummed that I wasn't able to get off work early enough to take part in the craziness. Looks like a great time! Oh, and the coke polar bear does look slightly demented! Hope everyone has a great and safe trip!

And yes, I've heard nothing but bad about Beverly - what's it supposed to taste like?

rosscoe
If you guys ever make a trip over here, make sure you come during the right season so you can swim with Whale Sharks off the coast of Western Australia. I want a wood scented TPR Tshirt.
moinab
Is it weird that I actually want to try Beverly, even though I know it's going to taste so foul, I'll never want to drink another Coke product EVER again? Dissolve some aspirin in tonic water, and you'll have a reasonable facsimile.
The Disneylander
Is Beverly really that bad? I've heard some pretty bad things about it, but the truth is, if it's really that bad, it probably would've stopped production already.
DiSab
Dissolve some aspirin in tonic water, and you'll have a reasonable facsimile. Wow, that seems... interesting... Hard to believe its still in production and (apparently) popular in other countries.
itnotfair
the truth is, if it's really that bad, it probably would've stopped production already. Yeah, like the Shrek movies right?
Medusa1861
LOL! The Marta tattoo joke was the finniest thing I've heard all year. I wonder how many people here actually get it. And yes, I know her.
ParkTrips
woo welcome to Atlanta where the playas play. Enjoy your time in the dirty, maybe I can catch up one day Where's the Pepsi? ebl
"Where's the Pepsi?" (Schmoofy) I've always heard that "Pepsi" is a word that should never be said in Atlanta. Which works for me because I drink Coke products anyway. Well, except Beverly... Eric

Pas
I read about Beverly (and how bad it is) a lot in this forum, and everytime it's said to be sold in Italy. I've never seen that drink in my whole life, unless it has a different name which I'm unaware of. I'm still wondering if they do really sell it, or it's just some sort of urban legend...
