Shockwave
I'm really excited about riding this in less than 3 weeks! I fell in love with Schwarzkopf rides at Flamingoland when they had those two awesome rides (Dreier Looping and Wiener Looping), and I'm glad this one is still kicking about. Roll on Hamburger-Dom! jedimaster1227
Nothing is more thrilling than a morning visit to IKEA--why not make the experience translate into an amazing coaster? And considering we just recently received our IKEA here in Orlando with ample room for expansion, I could definitely see this beauty installed right next door to make it the first official IKEA coaster... But in all seriousness, this ride was really running amazing during our visit to Dorney last Summer. It is truly a loss for the East Coast (and more of a gain for Europe) and a shame we couldn't keep it on this continent. But, for those who will catch it on its many circuits, I wish you all the best as you enjoy a truly fantastic coaster.
Kennyweird
It's nice to see the Laser has a new home, although it's too far away for me to ride it.
tanthonyam
Are you sure this is the Lazer and not Doppel Looping from Conklin Shows? It was sold too.
RCFreak
Then again, with CF, they had seatbelts to lock their Arrow OTSRs... Go figure... There's an extremely good reason for that besides the joke answer of "it's Cedar Fair." I really like the colors on this.
ECZenith
I loved Lazer at Dorney Park but it looks much better now that it's gotten some paint. I"m sure it will get much more ridership on the fair circuit than it did surrounded by Steel Force and the B&Ms.
Loefet
I wouldn't say first, since it have the exactly same colour scheme as Montaña Infinitum at La Feria Chapultepec Magico (the old Magnum Force): http://www.rcdb.com/m/ig3605.htm Which also looks fantastic!! Zack44
The new paint looks spectacular, I wish they'd paint sooner when it was at Dorney. Hopefully Germany will enjoy this coaster as much as most of us (including myself) did.
Kooky
ok here a new wonderful pics from http://freizeitparkweb.de/cgi-bin/dcf/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=7480&forum=DCForumID4&viewmode=all thanks to the user "pinion":
Jim S.
I'm going to miss Laser, even though I only rode it once per trip due to the slow ops and the fact that somehow I always end up in the park on a day that its too hot to enjoy such a forceful ride. (You know you're not properly hydrated when you hit Talon at the beginning of the day and still gray out on the loop.)
coasterfan4444
Looks so much better with a good paint job Laser does. Sad to know that its gone though. Easily the best coaster in the park before it went back home. At least Talon is the best coaster now. (Since I work on Talon that is.) Oh, and someone asked about the name, its called "Test Track" and will be themed to F-1 Racing from what I have heard.
GeorgeT
Hard to believe...it really does look, as if it`s completely new. I heard, that this is the former laser (and not the other double loop)...and it`s getting NEW TRAINS !!! Man, I´m so curious about the design of the new trains...besides...I think the design of the former trains was VERY good...maybe the best designed coaster-trains EVER ! GeorgeT P.S. I think we really do need some good hambutger-dom-coverage here...cause there will be a lot of good stufff...!
ECZenith
I'll always remember Lazer as having a very very slow lift hill which I enjoyed very much because it built up the anticipation for an otherwise short ride. I have only been on a few Scwarzkopf coasters, but I meant to ask... Do all or most of them have such slow lift hills?
Sasquatch
They aren't much slower than most coasters, actually the looping coasters with the friction tyre lift generally have really fast and quiet lifts
Guy T. Koepp
It didn't have the friction tires. It had a very weird chain style lift. And yes, it was incredibly slow. I think the only slower lift I have been on is Rolling Thunder at 6FGAdv. The only difference was that with Lazer, you actually enjoyed the going down part of the ride as well. Where as on RT the lift is the best part of the ride.
andyuk200523
Magnum Force aka Drier Looping had a Tyre Drive lift and was particularily quiet and fast, great idea, also no need to use anti-rollbacks as the friction of the tyres holds the train steady, this system should be used a great deal more often now, it is proven and works! Bring back the old trains (not the seatbelt ones) the original Schwarzkopf single lapbar and no OTSR!! Love the speed at which German Fair operators build these coasters, it amazes me every time I see one getting built, if anyone has ever seen Eurostar being put together, it is simply awe-inspiring! Drew-B
Invertigo at CGA, Tornado at Sommerland Syd, and Two Face: The Flip Side at SFA were all 'Ikea Coasters' too then.

Primogen18
A million little pieces made somewhere overseas that takes engineers to put it together? Sounds like IKEA to me. Looks nice though.
andyuk200523
Don't forget how efficient they are at moving the queue along...legendary from what I have been told. Without a doubt, it certainly helps with rides like Drier Looping, Eurostar and Olympia Looping that they can run 3+ Trains! I would never (excluding the Disney Rides) imagine seeing another coaster running more than 3 full length trains on a typical coaster. I have never seen a stupidly long queue on the German Fair Circuit, other parks and manufacturers really could learn a thing or two!
