CorkscrewFoley
I hate to go with the crowd on this one, but this whole situation is sounding quite Geauga'd. Maybe Chang could go to Frontier City, or is it not a SF park anymore?
KDFAN
I think it would do well at SFA, it would probally open in time for the big year for SFA>

CHILLERLC1
I just thought about how I always wanted a Riddler's Revenge at SFGADV. I'll take it at SFGADV rethemed to such. I think we have room behind the old CHILLER pad just turned a couple degrees.
Bolliger&Mabillard
Four feet is going to keep it out of SFDK. The bay area keeps strict height limits on SF and CF, restricting all of there rides to a max of 150 ft.
ginzo
I'd rather see an awesome waterpark thrive than see a once beloved park flounder on life support. I have to agree. I'd rather see a really good water park than a mediocre combination park. The midwest, I think, doesn't really have many excellent water parks. Nothing like you'd see in Florida, anyway. I'd even like to see Six Flags take on a Wet 'n Wild approach where a little inexpensive theming goes a long way.
jjb297
But yea. SFKK is more known for their water park. It is probably far superior then Kings Island's and Holiday Worlds. So its a good thing they can expand that. Not even close. SFKK water park is good for an amusement park included water park. They have three very good slides (Bowl, Tornado, Deluge). Splashin' Safari would be a great water park even without its amusement park, and with Wildebeest, contends with the some of the top waterparks in the world with its quality of slides and good capacity. themeparkman25
^^^They could always cut a couple feet off with a couple new sections of track ya? That would have some pretty big draw to have a coaster of that size and if they possible go Bizarro status with it, then that would definitely get me out there. itsasamccormick
I've heard from several sources that Six Flags St. Louis is getting Chang, and it will be re themed and re painted. how long will it be before there is evidence of where it is going? monsterfan99
^ Now that would be the best bet for the ride. SF STL could use one more steel coaster to round out it's line-up.

jjb297
^^ Thats what I'm talking about! Yeah! Hmm... it would not be easy to expand unless you went further back behind Boss or Screaming Eagle. Now if we remove Ninja, then that would give them some room to work with (though many things would still have to be moved around). I think its still unlikely given all the talk of SF Great America. KDCOASTERFAN
What do you mean another coaster? SFA hasnt had a new coaster since Batwing in 2001. I wouldn't expect it for 2010, but maybe Chang could be SFA's mystery 2011 coaster. Only time will tell where this ends up. It might end up at a park nobody's talking about like SFoG or SFDK... SFOG already has Scorcher so that's ruled out.My guess is,aside from SFGRAM either SFGRADV or SFNE since ole' Sharpie's got family up there....oh & let's not forget about SFOT as well. SFA is just gonna end up being GL'd in a few years time & cannibalized for it's rides to keep the other parks going.
almightyfire
Well all I know is that SFKK is a big overgrown carnival and I dont see it staying open if they remove Chang. I rode Chang and wasnt impressed at all. Maybe if I hadnt ridden Riddler at SFMM or Mantis I would have been more impressed but the ride itself is nothing to write home about. I think that if the first drop were steeper it might be some sort of a thrill. This park was the worse I have eva been to. I say everyone there just take an hr ride down the street to Holiday World. ArizonaGuy
I'd say SFStL is a great place for Chang as well. They really need a good steel coaster to add to their line up. Of course....I'd also like to see it at SFFT. I personally think it would be a nice fit there too. *let the negative comments begin* LOL
coastercrzyjames
Yeah I was really shocked to see that SFKK was removing Chang. I have never been to SFKK before, but it seemed like their only real "stand-out" coaster. I hope the waterpark expansion helps the park out more. Maybe this is secretly Six Flags' way of trying to get rid of the park. However, it will be interesting to see where it ends up next. I agree that both SFStL and SFA do seem like good choices for the relocation. Time will tell I guess.

Alright, I would like to hear a literal, right now, on the spot prediction of when that will happen. You've been "calling" this for ages, so I'd like to know a specific year prediction. pkdcoaster
Quite shocking I still can't figure out where in SFgram they would put it.(if those rumors are true) Chang is a massive coaster that takes alot of space and looking at the satellite pics, I do not think Whizzers location is big enough. I still think Chang is the best stand up. hopefully it moves closer to me (SFA) JEFF
jamesdillaman
Pave Kentucky Kingdom! Oh, sorry, I was confused. Sad to see Chang go, but I do feel it's the best move for the park. The waterpark was always WAAAAAY more crowded than the rides park. More rides will be removed in the coming years... -James Dillaman
Airtime&Gravity
Yeah, I doubt Kentucky Kingdom will be around much longer. Twisted Twins - torn down Chang - SFGAM Greezed Lightning - probably scrapped T2 - Great Escape Thunder Run - Probably torn down, but it could be relocated, so let's say SFA Roller Skater - Could go anywhere Road Runner Express - Could go to several parks: SFA, SFoG, SFSTL...pretty much any park except SFMM, SFGADV, SFGAM I don't recall there being too many non kiddie rides, but SFGADV, SFA, and SFMM could probably use the flats the most. Great America could use the ferris wheel. These aren't based on anything, just where I think the rides could go. It will be sad to see Kentucky Kingdom close, but having it turn into a water park will probably be best for its survival.
AllenA07
This does seem like a step towards the end for SFKK. What it does almost sound like is that SFKK is going to become a water park with a small amusement park to go along with it, rather than a amusement park with a water park to go along with it. Obviously being in Chicago you want chang to go to SFGRAM but we're not sure that it'll happen just yet & why send T2 to TGE when they had an SLC in storage that's being sent to Laronde & T2 is in far worse shape than the SLC TGE recently lost? ginzo
Greezed Lightning - probably scrapped That one I can see either getting bought for parts or maybe for actual use in Central/South America or maybe Germany. Or maybe Shane will buy it for his water park.
