lbeeler
That looks kinda cute.... and awesome! It may not be as spectacular as Wildfire or Lightning Rod, but it's still going to provide a kick-ass ride! It's like a little "pocket RMC." seems like SC is the RMC underdog lol
Midgetman82
Standing next to (which nearly felt like being directly under) the structure up close in-person was a whole new experience. I had only seen track curve like this in photos, so I had to stop and admire the drop for a few minutes (before a very curious wasp forced me to move ). It looks insane, and I couldn't be more excited to see this ride up and running next year! First twisty drop goodness. General Peppy would be so proud! ... wow! Nice skies make the track stand-out beautifully! It was about here I had to stop and admire the twisted mess! Not yet ready for action. A closer look Now from across the street. Good Idea on KK and RMC's part to start on the lifthill and drop. Lovely eye-candy to get folks excited for next year! Can't wait!
DoinItForTheFame
Looking good! Can't wait to see more track get installed! Major thanks to those of you who keep providing us with frequent photos of the construction!!

DoinItForTheFame
I'm glad America's finally getting a Medusa-style drop! That's what I have been saying since they first announced this coaster!! I can't wait to see how this drop feels!!

Suspence1127
All these posts and pictures make me really wish that Great Adventure didn't take down rolling thunder. The potential to RMC it would've been awesome. Can't wait to see a pov of this coaster. It's great that Kentucky Kingdom is doing so much to become great again. IMO if they got a B&M to replace Chang (but NOT a standup! ) their lineup would be something worth traveling far for. This new RMC is really going to boost their attendance. (Also, is it just me or does it already look 10x better than the animation for it?) Wow that was a lot of rambling from me...
jtd0826
Did they add on to the height of the first airtime hill?
Midgetman82
^Not significantly, from what I can tell. I think it was only reshaped.
jtd0826
Ok, I guess with all of the other track gone it stands out more and looks taller which I am all for
jtd0826
I found an old photo of twisted twins so I thought I would compare. I think they at least did reshape the first airtime hill. Thoughts?
Midgetman82
^They're both my photos. The old one was from August 2011. I've actually been having a hard time finding that old photo on my old hard drive without the huge watermark I put on it long ago, too!

DoinItForTheFame
I found an old photo of twisted twins so I thought I would compare. I think they at least did reshape the first airtime hill. Thoughts? Thoughts?? 1.) Thanks for the comparison! It will be really awesome to see the comparison when this coaster is done!! 2.) Thank god for RMC. XII
Wow. Storm Chaser is looking really good. All those photos of the first drop were really well taken. I'm happy to see that construction is going really well.
Imagineer Josh
Quite honestly, this has to be my least favorite RMC, but still looks very fun
PixelRush
are those gray stripes painted so when it peels off it looks about the same?

johnnyknottsville
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this Question, It's a question I'm hoping Robb maybe can answer or someone else that's on his level of inside contact/connections in the Industry, or better yet if any of your Wooden coaster building guys are here could tell my your thoughts on RMC making over one of your coasters... So my ? is... Robb have you chatted with anyone from the Wooden coaster manufacturers such as GCII, or TGG, and gotten their input on how they feel about RMC make overs, especially if it's one of their coasters? Thanks in advance for any feedback and I apologize if this question has been asked and or for being in the wrong place. Also Storm Chaser's Air hill after that amazing looking drop, looks like it will have the same profile as the blue hill on TC at SFMM and that thing is
johnnyknottsville
Quite honestly, this has to be my least favorite RMC, but still looks very fun Apologies if this is considered a double post but I just have to ask??? How can this be your least favorite anything if you've never experienced it? Your going by the looks of an Nolimits 1 creation for all you know this could turn out to provide a ride that's RMC most insane yest excluding WILDFIRE! CoasterMateo
I judged this coaster too soon. Once the renderings came out I thought it was trash, but the coaster isn't trash, the renderings were. The coaster looks like a great experience and a great investment for Kentucky Kingdom. RollerManic
I guess I'm different here. Like I've said before, I am most excited for this RMC, more than Wildfire, Lightning Rod, and The Joker. If I lived anywhere near Wildfire, it may have been possible to be more excited for it. But I really admire the simplicity of Storm Chaser: it also crosses over less than other RMC's and is more of an out-and-back. Storm Chaser may also turn out to be the cleanest looking aesthetically due to the steel-on-steel construction.
