How many times the same ride in a day ?

Recommended Posts

12 times on SPEED at Oakwood, on the 2006 TPR UK Tour during our ERT on it.

Not a lot compared to others, but it was a lot for myself at the time, LOL.

It was great.

The CGA Tidal Wave was ideal for multiple rides I would guess I have probably hit 40-50 in a single night before, I used to marathon that one every chance I would get. Others include the SCBB Giant Dipper and yes even Flashback (28 times) in its final operating season

The Blue Streak at Conneaut Lake Park I rode 25 times in a row without getting off, which was very easy to there on weekdays.

I also rode the Exterminator at Kennywood about 9 times in a row, getting off and going back in line of course.

I would keep re-riding rides like crazy but here in Florida, its not so easy unless the park just opened. I remember riding hulk about 10 times in the morning until the line got long (we were always first at the gate) and I remember running for DD after that for like 5 rides on each side. But the best was me an my friend Ryan riding the Mummy, we'd go single rider and just ride like 30-40 times over and over, it got so tiring running up those stairs phew it was a workout, but worth it too because the op always let me and my friend ride with eachother.

Speaking of parks Im bout to get headed to Disney in like 2 mins to go to R.I.P. MGM and be the first at the gate to try the new Mania! ride. Then Ill prob just ride ToT like 20 times in a row! CYA

When I was younger, my sister and I rode Gemini at Cedar Point 20X in one day! Back then, it was the biggest coaster in the park.

And when Expedition Everest opened, I rode it 7X. Felt sick after all the backwards spirals!!

And I think on the last operating day of the Idora Wildcat (Labor Day 1983) I probably rode it about 20 times.

I've ridden Hulk about 20x in one day (Park was dead)

Kumba 20x in one day (Why is it that this ride is always a walk-on when it's not summer?)

Dueling Dragons Fire and Ice 25x in on day but on separate days (Again, park was DEAD)

Dr Doom 35x in one day (Hurray for single riders!)

Kraken is my most ridden in one day at 40x (Yay for offseason/school day)

Just got back from Disney, wow the ToT ride was dead today, sadly I didnt get to try Mania! they said it was because of technical difficulties it was down, and I was just thinking what did Mr. Potato Head break!

Anyways I rode ToT 12 times today, longest wait 15 minutes, not bad for a half a days work.

It's not a roller coaster, but Tower of Terror at DCA. It was around the time it opened, for some coca cola contest or something. But nobody was there, and we literally stayed on the ride for over an hour without having to exit and go through the queue. We rode it over 20 times before i stopped keeping count, and even after that we spent the last hour of the night riding it over and over again... so who knows how many times in a row it was. By far the most I've ever ridden a single ride in a row.

Now, if we're only talking roller coasters, than Goliath at SFMM still holds my record at 15 times.

A few years back, I did probably around 15 back to back rides on California Screamin' at DCA. And once during Extra Magic Hours at DAK, I rode Expedition Everest for about an hour and a half until the park closed.

In 2005, I rode Millennium Force 18 times in a day including 12 in torrential rain (I felt like I was in the pain Olympics competing in the needles in the face event).

I did SFNE ROS 11 times but I wanted a whole lot more.

I've clocked around 25-30 on Xcelerator.

On the midwest I didn't count but in the Kentucky Rumbler & Avalanche ERT sessions I got a lot fo rides.

Any chance I get I will marathon a good ride. I got to ride Greezed Lightnin' at SFKK 68 times in a row before my riding partner got "sick"....I got up to 72 by the end of the day.

I attacked The Voyage while local school was still in session the year it opened and got to ride 27 times in a row with my niece, then went back later to get a total of 35 before the park closed.

During a summer in Texas I went to SFOT on a tuesday and stayed on Mr. Freeze for 22 cycles. I walked over to Titan and had 18 almost continuous rides (I had to go back in line twice) but I had to cut it short because I started blacking out around ride #14. At that point I walked right back over to Mr. Freeze which still had no line and got about 12 more out of it before I left for home.

My biggest official record is thirteen on Greezed Lightnin' at SFKK during media day, twelve of which were consecutive. Honestly, the only reason why I rode it that much is because they needed people in the trains for the cameras.

Unofficially, I'm sure I came close to, if not broke, that record on Goliath at SFOG during Spring Fling '06. I took quite a few spins during night ERT. Not sure if I topped thirteen though.
