Recommended Posts

After much copy and paste work, I've discovered that the only file I now need is css8.dat.

DJ, anyone, help a redhead out?

Hello,

I have been pondering about this issue since RCT2 came out, either the game is so well developed they prevented most hacking techniques, or I must be doing something wrong. In the original RCT game, there was a trainer called "Dragon AIO" Trainer, which had Ride Editing feature so you can change (EG: Trains, Cars, Chain, Speed, Type, Car Type, etc). The interesting thing about this one is, the Train/Car editing worked flawlessly in this game. I could create 24 Car Length Train for Monorails, Coasters, Railroad, etc.

In this game, I have tried Beast Trainer, and 8 Cars Per Trainer. You cannot change the Train/Car lengths amount at all, if you do, they appear changed, but when the ride is opened they reset to the last setting/max possible setting? Any idea how this can be resolved?

With 8 cars option "8 cars per train" in the edit ride function, you can make trains somewhat long, but not to the extent you have done before. I believe it has to do something with the hardcoded material that puts major constraints on changing how long a train can be. For simple use, use the "8 cars per train" function before you edit the ride, and when you are in the edit ride mode, you are able to change the car length per train.

Like I said, It might have to do with the hardcoded data being more constrictive. RCT1 is very primitive code, so it was easier to "crack" the game as you might see with codex and other trainers with RCT1.

To put it simply, there are ways to make more trains, but it's something I've never tried because most aren't peep-able for the guest.

Sorry I can't be much of help, but if you ask at this site, I'm sure they can help you out more than I can.

Hi, I've been trying a custom made Zacspin on RCT2 for awhile now, but I can't get the vertical lift to work. I've tried it on both Win7 and XP, but the "Toggle Lift" option just doesn't seem to work. I am using multi-dimension coaster track with the to-be vertical lift painted Alternative Color Scheme 1, selecting Toggle Chain in 8cars, Alternative 1, then apply. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks in advance, CC9

Back in the original RCT, the guests weren't smart enough to walk on double-or-wider paths without getting lost. In RCT2, they automatically default to the path square closest to the center. If you want your guests to use as much of the path as possible, use an even-numbered width. A width of two spaces is ideal.

Is there a way to have 2 trains running on this powered launch coaster? I can't use blocks or just make one station that would hold 2 trains without it either giving me an error or having no trains at all. I'm using a giga coaster and just changing the operating mode in 8cars. Would it work with a different coaster type?

Dont change it to Power Launch mode... Keep it in Block Section Mode and then use the lift hill chain on the straight track infront of the hill. Use 8cars to change the lift hill chain speed to what you want and there you have it. Hope this helps!!
