A.J.
After much copy and paste work, I've discovered that the only file I now need is css8.dat. DJ, anyone, help a redhead out? Edited March 7, 2011 by A.J.
djbrcace1234
A.J. Looks like you were missing the Fairground organ for the carousel ride. Ryan: you can make the station longer, for the easiest solution. You can also merge another train on, but that would expose the station for the "extra" train. css9.zip
RCTFreak123
With some CS sets i download, E.G, Doughnuts tipping bucket, Most af the pecies in the set show the peice but its colours are a green splode with eyes on a black backround. coastermaniac
I just came across this and now I miss my RCT2 game...like a lot. Now I may have to start playing it again.
Marcus101RR
Hello, I have been pondering about this issue since RCT2 came out, either the game is so well developed they prevented most hacking techniques, or I must be doing something wrong. In the original RCT game, there was a trainer called "Dragon AIO" Trainer, which had Ride Editing feature so you can change (EG: Trains, Cars, Chain, Speed, Type, Car Type, etc). The interesting thing about this one is, the Train/Car editing worked flawlessly in this game. I could create 24 Car Length Train for Monorails, Coasters, Railroad, etc. In this game, I have tried Beast Trainer, and 8 Cars Per Trainer. You cannot change the Train/Car lengths amount at all, if you do, they appear changed, but when the ride is opened they reset to the last setting/max possible setting? Any idea how this can be resolved?
djbrcace1234
With 8 cars option "8 cars per train" in the edit ride function, you can make trains somewhat long, but not to the extent you have done before. I believe it has to do something with the hardcoded material that puts major constraints on changing how long a train can be. For simple use, use the "8 cars per train" function before you edit the ride, and when you are in the edit ride mode, you are able to change the car length per train. Marcus101RR
I did that. It isn't as useful as RCT1 version was. So I guess there is no solution?
djbrcace1234
Like I said, It might have to do with the hardcoded data being more constrictive. RCT1 is very primitive code, so it was easier to "crack" the game as you might see with codex and other trainers with RCT1. To put it simply, there are ways to make more trains, but it's something I've never tried because most aren't peep-able for the guest. Sorry I can't be much of help, but if you ask at this site, I'm sure they can help you out more than I can.
CoasterCreator9
Hi, I've been trying a custom made Zacspin on RCT2 for awhile now, but I can't get the vertical lift to work. I've tried it on both Win7 and XP, but the "Toggle Lift" option just doesn't seem to work. I am using multi-dimension coaster track with the to-be vertical lift painted Alternative Color Scheme 1, selecting Toggle Chain in 8cars, Alternative 1, then apply. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance, CC9
PSiRockin
^Same, I can't make track for a go-carts invisible. Did the same things.
BkkMan13
Any Reasons for the peeps doing this? Or any solutions? SCR81.BMP The peeps are constantly walking in this and only this line.
CoasterCreator9
The "AI" can, quite frankly, be very unintelligent in RCT. Sometimes they just get confused by a path layout.
BkkMan13
The "AI" can, quite frankly, be very unintelligent in RCT. Sometimes they just get confused by a path layout. So... there's nothing I can do about it?
A.J.
Back in the original RCT, the guests weren't smart enough to walk on double-or-wider paths without getting lost. In RCT2, they automatically default to the path square closest to the center. If you want your guests to use as much of the path as possible, use an even-numbered width. A width of two spaces is ideal.

tdub96
You can't use a trainer to own all land in the scenario editior. Go back to the SE and hit 'de-own border land' in 8cars.
A.J.
^ Seconded. But, I think you don't have to be in the Scenario Editor. Edited March 25, 2011 by A.J.
djbrcace1234
No, you don't, so long as the entrance still is connected properly. Use 8 cars de-own border land, and keep it that way.
Fat-G
Thanks, this was part of a park I am working on that I uploaded into the scenario editor. Thanks again guys!
CoasterCreator9
Would anyone happen to have a copy of the UCES? I enjoy the scenarios and the download on RCT*Mart doesn't appear to work.
traincrossin
Is there a way to have 2 trains running on this powered launch coaster? I can't use blocks or just make one station that would hold 2 trains without it either giving me an error or having no trains at all. I'm using a giga coaster and just changing the operating mode in 8cars. Would it work with a different coaster type? SCR1.BMP
10ryansmith
Dont change it to Power Launch mode... Keep it in Block Section Mode and then use the lift hill chain on the straight track infront of the hill. Use 8cars to change the lift hill chain speed to what you want and there you have it. Hope this helps!!
traincrossin
^Thanks for the help Ryan! Is there any way to get rid of the lift hill sound though? Doesn't sound very launch-like.
A.J.
Unfortunately, the answer to that question is a big, "nyet".
traincrossin
^What if I did a track merge so the launch/lift hill section was a different track? Only thing is I have Windows 7 so I can't do track merges myself. Anybody want to try a track merge and/or make the entrance/exit huts invisible for me?
