DanM64
First of all want to thank Robb for getting up so early and posting all the info! I can't believe SFGAm is finally building something so big! I can't wait to ride Goliath!! It looks sorta like I-Box track in the videos. Is it I-Box, or just topper track painted orange? _koppen
No, it looks like topper track.
G$ Kurt
At first glance I thought the same thing but in certain shots you can clearly see that it is topper track.
gerstlaueringvar
^I think it's a topper track woodie. Thank Robb for posting this!
DanM64
Looks like you guys are right. In the picture Robb posted of the "inverted zero-g stall" it does look like topper track. This looks like a great coaster! Edited August 29, 2013 by DanM64
sfgam#1
I love it.
kailisun98
A dive loop on a woodie???? Seems amazing.
netdvn
Goliath is such an overused name now, but that logo is pretty sweet. Rocky Mountain never fails to make their coasters look balls to the walls insane. Just another reason I should head to Chicago sometime in the future I guess. adavis
This looks really good. Can't wait to go check it out next year.
NAMTABSFGAm
Can 2 friends of mine and I sign up for Media Day yet? This looks so good. A solid addition. Best addition chain wide.
JJnCFL
Holy Space Balls, that looks sick! Gotta leave it to RMC, they're making awesome coasters!
Koasterking48
Amazed with the coaster, disappointed by the name!
DougMJr
Rocky Mountain never disappoints. With the dive loop I say they are half way through the development process of the inverted wooden launched aquatrax we keep asking for . Not sure if it will top Outlaw, but we'll see! Ape
I think it will be a very fun ride but I feel it is too short it just ends so abruptly.
robbalvey
I think it will be a very fun ride but I feel it is too short it just ends so abruptly. The announcement isn't even 3 hours old and here comes all the complaints.
Mrlittle
I like the layout, it looks great. Also looks like I will need to head back to Chicago next season. RMC just knows how to make them and I think this will be up there with Outlaw Run.
pilotgirl21
Hooray! Looks good! I'll be at Great America in about two weeks-I wonder if they'll start moving as quickly as Kings Island did in building the new coaster!
ImmelMatt
Rocky Mountain never disappoints. _koppen
It will be very interesting to see how the back flipping zero-g roll turns out.
Hilltopper39
It does look a little short in length, but my god there is some crazy stuff packed into that layout. Can't wait to try this thing one of these days, my possible trip to Chicago late next summer just got that much more interesting!
ernierocker
I think it will be a very fun ride but I feel it is too short it just ends so abruptly. Outlaw Run is short but that doesn't stop it from being one of the top coasters on the planet.
FreeFaller
^Right! I rather have a short a$$ kicking coaster than a long one which is boring
ytterbiumanalyst
Absolutely amazing. We've been meaning to get up to Chicago for a couple of years now. Check this as one more reason.
shivtim
This ride looks incredible. The "inverted zero-g stall" is insane. Congrats to SFGAm for getting a major coaster so soon after X-Flight. But Six Flags sure is fast and loose with the "record breaking" superlatives. Tallest wooden coaster? No way. Fastest wooden coaster? Probably, but debatable. Reminds me of SFMM calling Full Throttle the tallest looping coaster. Anyway, I'm not complaining - the ride looks amazing, and the marketing people are doing their job!
