Six Flags Enthuseast
Sorry my updates on this have been pretty sparse. Part 2 of Day 5. DISCLAIMER: My graphics driver has gone mad, so for this update I'm unable to monitor the quality of my photos. Anton Schwarzkoph (I don't care if it's spelled wrong!) fans, this is your part of the update! As I'm unable to see any of the photos after this, I'll have to resume the update once I get a new graphics card. Thank's for reading! Size of the wagon in comparison to the height of my dad kneeling. The only reason they call it 'Silver' Bullet is because of the silverish supports. Sure, it's a little forceless in some parts... but it's still pretty fun! 3 cheers for the awesome Intamin fangirl ride-op! Ready to ride? Intamin rides are cool. But the one in the middle would be cooler if it still had the parachute drop... This horse carriage station next to SB (that my mom kindly points out) stinks quite a lot. Lift shot! Six Flags Enthuseast
I finally have time (and a fixed display, I figured out that I don't need a new graphics card) for an update. Behind the lift shot of Sierra Sidewinder. Lots of coasters in this shot. Not as good as the one ontop of the Stratosphere, because it's not ontop of a 900ft tall building like the one ontop of the Stratosphere. "Touch my bee's nest, and I'll shred your face to bits!" Walking accross the pointless rope bridge into some pointless caves. Hello, diarreah as a result of eating food in Mexico when Montezuma isn't cool with you: the Ride! I'm ready and willing to ride you! Diarreah: the Ride's sign is looking good today. D:tR's train 'through the fence and parallel to the floor'. Ever seen a shot like this before? Very old, dirty looking brakes. Themeing from the 80's. FAIL! This has NOTHING to do with severe diarreah as a result of getting food poisoning in Mexico due to Montezuma being upset at you! Hello, American Bob! He's related to the Bob that currently lives at Walibi Belguim. He, like Belgian Bob, will accelerate you from 0-60 in about 3 seconds. Slower than Rick, but pretty fast considering that he was built in the 80's! Diarreah: through the hole. Patrick-Approved German ride. German pretzel-makers are awesome. Especially the one that managed the company that built this ride! My first credit on a Huss whateverit'scalled. In 2 minute's time, I shall be in a similar, sideways, spinning position. Overall, not bad. Not as dizzying as I expected, but more thrilling! My S&S Sense is tingling.... The lime green corner of the park. Mmm.... Pepsi or Intamin? I'll take Intamin, due to it's high adrenaline and airtime content... ...which I just realized was even higher in back! Me is exited by Swiss contraption. So am these peoples. Xcelerator, presented by: the Sun, blinding you and your loved ones for billions of years! Ready for unacceptably-wet Intamin goodness! Goin' up the lift. Goin' down the drop. 3 people on this ride just messed their pants with all the airtime. The rest won't notice because they'll be soaked! NOTED! We noticed that Xcelerator began slowing down. The it just quit working. Then our ride quit working! about 2 or 3 hours later, they began cycling boats. We just decided we'd rather do something better. Yes, this does in fact mean that BOTH of the park's major Intamin credits are closed. While I do approve of near-rollbacks, I do not approve of the ride shutting down, thus forcing me to miss the rollback. (We soon found out that this was the typical day at Knott's Berry Farm for most people. ) Still, at least we had a backup plan. 254ft of Morman dropping isn't as good as 2.3 seconds of Swiss acceleration, but it'll do. You can never have too many S&S-approve-thumb-ups, especially in California. Mom: I'm getting too old for this... Dad: Nobody stole some money out of the fanny pack, right? Random Old Lady: Shut up, lady back there, you think YOU'RE too old for this? As I said two photos ago.... For Cedar Fair Trash Can whores. Random Jaguar! track and supports. The Sierra Sidewinder sign, as we make our way out of the park. See 'ya later, not-so-Silver Bullet! More Asians? Seriously, the last time I was at this park there was an Asian tour group just like this one! (that's what was up with the PE train on my last KBF update) Some sexy n-s-SB rollage. And one last train. Goodbye, painful-ass CCI creation. See 'ya after your necessary re-tracking. My signature pointless 'out the gate' shot. For some reason, I love buying post cards of coasters/thrill rides and then doing absolutely nothing with them. A horrible coaster in every way but its looks. It seems that Californians have caught onto the Canadian-started trend of driving little buggies through parks. Yup, time to get back to the hotel and get some pizza or something! Later, KBF! Thank's for reading!
Six Flags Enthuseast
It's been over a year since this trip happened. I might as well get it done now while have time and while I still can. The weather at SFMM was pretty cloudy to start off... X2 greets us with its still shiny paint. TPR is here to investigate the crime! (If you consider the opening of a new GCI a crime, that is) There was already a pretty large line for parking when we arrived. S:tE appears to climb into the fog.... The line for parking was about as long as the line for getting into the entrance plaza. LET US IN! RAAAWWWRRR! This guy just sat there and taunted us.... knowing we wanted to get in... "I'm exited to ride a BRAND NEW WOODIE!" Meet Zach (SFMM Fanboy) and his brother. They came all the way from Fresno to ride TS:TR. They're fans of Tatsu, as you can see by their shirts, although Zach's bro prefers Disney. We talked with them (and their mother) throughout the lines we stood in (Here, TS:TR, X2). Who's season pass looks better: Zach's SFMM Pass..... ...or my SFMM/HH pass? You decide! We had to sprint to get to TS:TR. We chose to take the path that goes around the left side of the park. The Potter Family (Zach, Sheri, and brother. Forgot his name, sorry!) went up the path that leads to Samurai Summet and went down the hill. By here, we were already beginning to tire. No Ninja yet... As you can see, the line was beginning to build outside the TS:TR sign. "I've never ridden a smooth woodie ever in my life!" "I wonder why we're not at Disney." OMG! Skynet! Everybody appears to be in the same position in this photo.... QTV Z00M! Shapiro, or Burkhart, or Thurman. Another SFMM Celebrity makes an appearance! This is the same color Psyclone's wood was when it opened in 1991. Did they just take this truck from B:tR and put a Skynet lable on it? Lonely little cactus. I'm sure it's grown a lot since this photo has been taken! "Mommy... Don't make me do this... I'm scared.... I'm afraid I'm gonna be turned into a robot, like Markus Wright..." TAKE THE TUNNEL! They took a perfectly good new Jeep and dirtied it up and took off the doors. WE TOOK THE TUNNEL! SFMM Employee approves of this brand new woodie! Walkthrough post slap credit. Toothpicks & Nails & Bolts! Another SFMM Employee approves of these new toothpicks! Preshow. "....Shiny...." Mark Burkman greeted us as we walked into the station! New restraints! The station-flythrough is cleverly used as overhead row marking. Brake nerd shot! Train full of satisfied riders! So, will TS:TR impress me? Find out soon! Thanks for reading! Six Flags Enthuseast
So, did I approve? Indeed, I do approve! Oldest ride and newest ride, all in one shot! ZOMG airtime hill. After-ride interview. I was so hyped by it that I was just yelling out random words, as if I had turrets! 2 lifts, 1 shot! Sexy curves. Onride photo. TS:TR Shirt. One of these is different.... one of these does not belong... The shirt I bought. Tim Shapman greeted us at the exit of the gift shop! NOTED! After getting off TS:TR, we figure that we have time for an X2 credit. Ninja swinging action. Evil face. "...Shiny..." Wegwieser. (or however the hell you spell it!) Hi Jahan! Viper is pretty packed, too. (But not like it was on that one video where the line stretched to the back of the park!) X2 makes dad smile! The 1st guy looks sorta like a really nerdy Dereck! "Hey look, I'm the Fanz! Eh!" X QTV Z00M! I think these all look like fun. Does this mean I'm Type Z or something? "...Shiny..." "It had to be you... It had to be you!" "I approve of this random penny!" Standing in this line, even though it's shaded, makes you hot and thirsty. So I bought a Coke. Loopscrew. They put the 2 back up... Sorta. X2 design goals. Too much red? Looking up Viper's skirt. That little blue box caused a LOT of problems in 2006! Manly compared to X.... but still, X's color scheme was pretty unique, even if girly. Still X yellow in some parts. "It haaaadd....toooo...beeee......yyoooooooooooouuuuu...." What's that white thing? The transfer track is still X magenta/yellow. X...X.....2...2...2....ssssssssssss.......Is everybody in? IS EVERYBODY IN?!?!?.....What was that?...that?.....that?... You can tell by my facial expression that I like this ride. Transfers. I always thought X/X2 had almost too many supports. They look cool, yes, but it seems a little bit too crowded, don't you think? I'm glad we got on X2 earlier; the line is much longer now. Because of a smudge I got on my camera, this is the last 'tolerable' photo I took. And because the photos suck when I upload them to TPR, this is the last photo TR for it. I really enjoyed my week in California and I'm glad I was able to be one of the 1st GP riders on TS:TR. This *FINALLY* ends the whole TR! Thanks for reading! djbrcace1234
I love ghostrider as it is. Sure, in the back it feels like it's going to fly off, but that is what makes a good woodie. I might be crazy, but that is just me. x)
knottslover77
^You must have ridden it a LONG time ago! Rode it last week back car 4 times. Its still my number one coaster. I love it perfect amount of airtime, and perfect amount of roughness to me(Pyclone was painful this is perfect). It throws you around, its wild, reckless! It my favorite coaster. My dad agrees too. Call me crazy. --Jay
Six Flags Enthuseast
^Crazy! Actually, the 1st time I rode Ghostrider, I liked it. It was really bad on this trip though. I never thought a coaster could be so tempermental, but Ghostrider really showed me that a coaster really could.

You get a very similar ride yet always a little different. --Jay
