Photo TR: Six Flags Great Adventure 4/12

Recommended Posts

The newly painted slides look really nice! Props to Six Flags.

But to start the day we took a trip to the Safari. All the staff were VERY friendly and all the animals were out and active!

Looooooook! Hum@ns ma!

Stray cattle, lawl.

Grass. The new Philadelphia Cheesesteak to Rhinos.

Rock = Shade : Car = Safety

The Refs

Nothing like looking at zebras behinds (sarcasm)

These damn birds just wouldn't move ndfgubufgbufbg :censored:

Swan.

Kangaroos love to chill. Take a :chill:

Something seems different.

Doesn't seem to be the layout...

Something seems to be effectin' our soil.

Actually it seems work is being done to the right of the loop. From up on Toro later on it seems like piping is being put in or some sort of structural support just like what was at the helix.

Lots and lots of cars! (more sarcasm)

This place is really really great!

This place could be open by tomorrow!

See! And staff were being trained in there how to make donuts and use the cash registers and such throughout the day.

The fountain was off the entire day. Time to investigate why!

By the way, the Big Wheel looks GREAT! Major props Six Flags!

And the LED lights are beginning to get ready!

The only downside to the Big Wheel is the top of the cars look nasty

BlueDUSA from above!

El Toro! It originally opened with one train with dummies and one with people, but later to two public trains.

For you park skyline lovers.

For you Batman: the Ride lovers.

For you chocolate lovers.

For you wanting to see what is happening at the old Chiller observatory lovers.

Time for some Batman action shots!

Oh and Nitro didn't open with the public...

But it opened pretty much less than a half an hour after the park!

Lets go vert-i-go!

So when I rode with Adam, this thing FLEW! The ride was flying today.

Look at there faces, LOLOLOL.

Ch-ch-ch-chiller!

THE WI-FI WORKS! WOOOO! But seriously... who brings a laptop to the park?

Adam we have figured it out! All the fountains water-plumbing is being used to power the Saw Mill Log Flume instead! GASP!

Hello one person.

One person again? ROFL.

Now some Bizarre updates.

The paint-job has finally grown to me. By the way the park is advertising the transformation in both the audio in the park AND commercials now.

ZOMFGGOZROXXXXX DIRT!

Can't see it from this angle, but they are beginning to dig dirt for the flame throwers.

GASP there is a hole in muh themeing!!!!

LOLOLOL @ empty train.

The new official mascot to Great Adventure Online! Meet Tim.

Kickass themeing.... (sarcasm)

I feel a disturbance in the force.

I could had SWORN there was something here just last week.... hmm...

Scream Machine was running great! Love the new restraints! And the flags look really nice.

Finally got my first ride on Kingda Ka for the season! Actually nine rides! In front!<3

Dropness fun.

The new Cold Stone looks pretty swell.

Hello? Is it me you are looking for?

Wudddddup! Hit me up with some k00l-aid!

Welcome to America's Most Wanted!

Belly rubs are the shiz.

Dolphins are still being trained apparently.

Can you hear me now?

Say cheese!

Well.. no local bands just yet.

Lunch. Yes.

Toro.Toro.Toro.Toro.

What ride? I don't see a ride. Do you see a ride? Nope? Same. Guess this has always been like this. Yup. I am sure. What Tango? What is a Tango?

Coaster was running the right side. Tis was very smooth today.

Toro action!

No people around. Sweeeet.

Time to take some fancy shots.

It was still so nice out!

Rolling Thunder looks so nice from El Toros exit!

There faces say it all.

Air time galore!

This photo is something I have yet to take. Till now. -insert evil laugh-

And finish off with Scream Machine stuck on the break run on the way out!

Looks like you had a much better day than I did! Too bad I couldn't find a ride today. Were there any lines? It doesn't look it.

Quite a different setting than what I experienced yesterday. Props to Six Flags for getting everything open and good operations.

How were you able to tell the difference between the two in New Jersey?

Thanks folks, I'll be here all week!

I guess there were Giants-Mets fans on the ride. I didn't come to the park today. I drove to the Flyers game in Philly.
