Skyline Park looks amazing. I remember videos my grandparents have at American "playgrounds" in the 60s and 70s. They were so much more dangerous than they are today. I wonder if those would have evolved into Klotten/Skyline type parks had it not been for this lawsuit-happy country.

^ No problems with any of the rides i've been on so far. All of them were well worth the entire trip and a lot of fun.

 

Anyway.. i guess it's time to "jump" back in time a little.

 

As mentioned earlier.. Legoland Germany was one of the places i've seen multiple times while driving to Austria and this year i was able to time the trip with the start of the park season.

 

After my visit it was time to check out Legoland Germany.

and the last one.. next update might be Europa Park...

the perfect place for a day out with the family...

let's try to get the credits in before the rest of the crowd arrives..

it was called..

no theecups.. but they did spin..

where did all these people come from?? turned out.. it was regional promotion day. so locals could get in after 13:00 hours for half the price... and they were all waiting untill that moment.. After finding this out.. i walked past the line and enetered the park.. 10 minutes ahead of the waiting crowd..

Amazing photos Hanno! I've absolutely loved the two Legolands I've visited before and I'm really determined to make it out to the other two soon!

 

You don't often see or hear much about the German Legoland so this really was a nice "first look" for me so thanks very much!

 

Does The Dragon coaster in Germany have the dark ride section at the start like the Danish and British versions?

^ it indeed does have a dark ride section.. if it's similar to the UK or Danish one.. i'm not sure... (cause i have not been there yet) but it does have a dark ride part..

I'm not using my camera's burst mode. This due to the lower quality of the pictures...

Those Legoland rides look really cool, but all the pictures you're posting is causing my computer to lag.

 

The park has amazing theming and the expressions of the people on the Project X coaster are priceless.

Legoland: Germany looks incredible. I love the theming of EVERYTHING, and there are so many rides, especially a lot of water rides. That Bionicle ride looks intriguing. I'm glad you are able to share these pictures with us!

I love how El Toro is integrated into the log flume and around the lake! Very cool. Great pictures!

I spent 2 days so far during the start of my coaster season at Europa Park.

The biggest reason for this was to get pictures of the new ride called Blue Fire and otherwise because i love the place and wanted to chill out a little before going back to work.

 

I've already done 2 updates regarding Blue Fire.

ok, time for a quick update..

 

I just arrived at a hotel after visiting Plopsland in Belgium.

 

This park has got a new ride this season called Anubis. It's a launched Gerstlauer. Once again.. a great addition to the park, impressive launch with plenty of airtime and a overall very smooth and fun ride. Worth the trip (to me)

I know i'm jumping from one day to another and i hope you're still following this. I just want to keep everybody informed of the "biggest" things i see/ride as soon as possible.

Great pictures of Anubis, I must say that you caught some of the funniest facial expressions that I have ever seen

They had guys at walibi World testing Goliath with their arms out like that guy to test if they could hit the branches, they were really cool guys also!

They called themselves the B Boys and danced for us!
