kumba830
So on March 13th I was on Spring break and decided to go to IOA. When I got there I realized it was terribly crowded compared to what someone who went the day before said. It turns out that day was St.Patties! What I thought about the rides.. Incredible Hulk: I really wasn't expecting much from this ride but it was great! the thing that did it for me was the great launch! It's much more exhilarating than I expected, the first few elements were great also... but after the MCBR it was just kinda mehhh. [7/10] Ice Dragon: Well I was kind of bummed with this one... I expected much more from it (which doesn't mean i didn't love it!). I know its not Fire (which I sadly did not get to ride!)but it was not as intense as the other B&M inverts I had ridden. But don't get me wrong I did love the near misses and the lovely zero g roll! [8/10] Jurassic Park River Adventure: It was the first ride I went on and boy did it give me a great impression of the the park! The themeing was great and actually ducked on the surprise when you crest the top of the drop. [7/10] The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man: This has to be one of the best rides it has been my pleasure so sit my butt on! I had low expectations for this ride and though...It's just some stupid 3D movie thing. But boy was I wrong! This ride is very fast paced and you even get dizzy from some of the crazy movement. I loved how you feel so close to the action as well as the water and fire effects! [9/10] Doctor Doom's Fearfall: This ride was well... not that great! I liked the launch and the pop of air time at the top of the tower, but it just isn't as thrilling as some of the other drop/launch rides out there [4/10] Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges: This is one crazy rapids ride! It has some very unique section and you get totally soaked! This ride is a bit more fast-paced than some of the other rapids and I loved one of the drops (its really hard to describe but it was awesome!) [7/10] Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls: This is a very unique log ride! It is very long and has some nice themeing. I likes the coaster section and the first drop looks spectacular! Oh yea... you get soaked on this too! [6/10] Now onto the Pictures! (Tell me if you want a higher resolution version of one of the photos) gotta love that spidey! interesting shot... (these next two are taken from my I Phone) good bye IOA your one great park! Would you shut up already fortune cookie! I love this photo! I see you hiding ! hulk is good As I said before... impossible to find a good spot for pictures with this stupid construction It's so hard to get pictures of this ride! Cobra goodness Oh the joy! IOA is not a tree huger friendly park! sploosh! One of the most disorientating drops ever! probably because you get whacked in the face with water so much! This is not an acceptable amount of wetness! Up skirt shot of hulks lift Hello there Hulky! He is drooling.... why... I have no idea Hello there magical fortune cookie Yeah ... It was pretty darn crowded! Stupid holiday! At this point I had no idea of the majestic wonders beyond this sign...
Lenaapple1974
I really like this pic of DD. Thank you for sharing your day with us. It did seem rather crowded! I was there last July, and it was really packed as well. This park is fun though. To me, still worth the waits. I totally cannot wait for the construction to finish, and for there to be more to love at this park!
CreditCrazy
Nice PTR. Too bad you couldn't ride both Dueling Dragons, and why no kiddie suspended coaster credit???

YoshiFan
Nice Photo TR. Too bad you couldn't ride both Dueling Dragons, and why no kiddie suspended coaster credit??? I thought if you are over 56", you can't ride that coaster unless you run to it first thing when the park opens and even there there is a chance you might get denied? I don't think so...I remember I rode it a long long time ago and my parents rode it with me...but then again that was a long long time ago. alpengeist04
^If you go to Pteranodon Flyers first thing, you won't be denied. A couple trips ago I was able to ride The Hulk twice, Spiderman once, and still made it over to the ride without any problems. They just try and discourage adults when the line gets longer, but they won't deny you like the Taxi Jam kiddie coasters at the CF parks. It's actually a fun little ride even if it's too short. Electerik
The policy for adults riding P-Flyers without a child has changed several times--so everything everyone here has said is right. Last I heard, adults could ride without a child, but it was actively discouraged by the employees (sometimes at the behest of management, and sometimes in contradiction of). Interesting thing about Universal Orlando is that the ride ops very seldom change rides, but management moves around constantly.
KrakenKing
I went last week and it was pretty crowded. We were able to ride P-Flyers with no problem. Same with the last few visits to the park. I heard they lifted the height restriction.
alpengeist04
Yea, when I said I had no problem riding the Flyers a couple visits ago, I should have added that it was only back in November of 2008.
