TheRapidsNerd
So which coaster was this again? Some wicked cool pics of Dominator. Especially like the sunset/cobra roll pics. Glad you shared them.
KDCOASTERFAN
Great pics,I've gotta upload a few of mine from last season myself. In some of those late night shots the lighting almost brings out the original "Ohio" colors rather than the new ones.
Speeddeamon128
Wow great pics! The pic with Volcano in it is my favorite.
Jcoaster
Possibly the most beautiful B&M of all time. The ride itself is not to shabby either.
BuschSchoe
Really great photos! I'm really missing Kings Dominion alot more now... only 2 more months to go!
Jds03
Whoa, those are really great. How did you get all those awesome ghost/blur shots?
philthephorce
Those pics are SWEET!! It's also good to see Dominator get some love too. On the East Coast Tour I heard a lot of talk suggesting that folks thought that it was just a tad disappointing, or rather it looks better than it is. I rode it as B:KF at GL and loved it, and loved it every bit as much in its new location. Hooray for Dominator!
Pirouettes907
Those are some beautiful pictures. They remind me of warm summer nights--which is definitely better than the cold and icy crap that's outside my window right now. Thanks for posting! restoca
Wow Jeff, great pics. I especially like the twilight ones. My only visit to Geauga Lake was prior to this B&M's construction, and it's been far too long since I've been to KD. Need to get to VA this summer! Thanks for the post! DiSab
Very nice pictures there. In fact, one of them is now my desktop background.
pkdcoaster
Whoa, those are really great. How did you get all those awesome ghost/blur shots? Most digital Cameras have a night setting and the more advance cameras have an option where you can adjust the shutter speed. But the key to great night pictures is to have a Tripod. You may look like a big geek (like me) carrying one around a park at night but that is the price you pay if you want good night pics. As for Dominator being disappointing? I wonder what they were expecting? yea it doesn't have a zero G roll (go to Volcano) but it has many unique features (doing more than just inversion after inversion) for a B&M looper that IMO make it one of the best. /\ which one did you use for your dektop? Thanks for all the compliments, JEFF
griffon
Having to deal with a tripod in the park is one annoyance, but the main thing is sacrificing the ride time to get these shots. Good stuff as usual, bro. Can't wait for April...

Luckily I'm also one of the geeks who carries tripods around, but I'm mostly into video, however I got a new camcorder with amazing still features and a night feature, so I'll have to try that sometime. I would only Sacrifice ride time at my home parks. You would never see me with a Tripod at CP or SFgrtadv. Pics are nice but riding is more important. niiicolaaah
Nice pics! Dominator wasn't open yet when I went to King's Dominion last year, but I rode it at Geauga Lake and did not like it. I will give it a courtesy ride this year though (before heading back for my PKD favorites, Volcano and FOF), even though I can't count it as a new credit. bpmitchell
hey jeff great pics! I'm hoping to do some photos this summer and am looking at getting into some night time photography. I'm using bigstockphoto.com right now to try and sell photowork but as long as the photos don't have any logos or copyrights they are fine. I like the sunset shots, those are awesome.
