Jds03
Tonight, since I had nothing better to do on a Friday, I went to Costco! The main reason was because I needed to get a bulk case of Red Bull because chances are I’m going to have to pull an all-nighter tomorrow to pull together my portfolio, but also I thought I could share pictures of what a magical place Costco is! Everything is really big, and it makes you feel tiny. Also they give out lots of free pepperoni and soup samples. Mmmm So here's an epic Photo TR, taken with my awesome new X-mas camera! Enjoy! Yeah...It's that importaint. Think of all the possibilities that come with having a gallon of mayonnaise! OMG!!! biggest can of tuna EVER!!! (and it's dolfin safe!) That’s a lot of clothes! Look! It's Amazing! It's as thin as cardboard! I think HP is making a take on the Macbook Air This is where I got my computer from! YAY! it's a camera security system! (hello everybody!) Look how many there are to choose from! (Vitual Cookie for the first person to name the movie playing) Here is the HD TV aisle My brother looks convinced It has over 307 aisles It's even bigger on the inside! Look how big it is! That’s enough Aluminum foil to make tin hats for everyone on earth !!!

Jds03
Part 2... 5x12=60! CHEESEY BALLS!!! Smart bin! It separates your garbage, does your taxes and can do calculus in Latin. Weiners and cantalopes... what a great store! Big Mike has a competitor? This is where they turned Bambi's mom into Venison More weiners!!! Weiners!!! That's quite allot of meat! MEAT!!!!! But why not screw around some more? Our quest is complete! GASP!!! It's the holy grail! The big heart shape makes it more special! Also try our new sports bottle, because we all know it's physically impossible to play sports with these ones! Hmmm... Bottled water...It's something you can find just about anywhere, but in a plastic bottle! And you pay more for it per gallon than gasoline! Let’s buy it in bulk! Jds03
Yes! There's more! On the way home, my dad got pulled over! Weee! Mmm.... Red Lobster.... Red lobster is awesome, exept I don't eat sea food. Instead I ate 7 Cheese Biscuits, a whole plate of Mozzerella sticks, A Cesar Salad, A New York Strip Streak and mashed potatoes. mmmmm Big X-mas Sales for the whole family! Great stocking stufferes! Your store is so big, it creates its own atmosphere! Thank you for visiting Costco! Where America's sole lives! I'm hungry now... Let's go to Red Lobster. Now you don't have to go to Mexico buy prescription drugs in bulk! Hey kids! Can you say Lawsuit? BUY OXI CLEAN BECAUSE I"M BILLY MAYS!!!!
Jds03
Thanks for reading! I hope I made your Friday just as magical as mine! ps. It would TOTALY make my day if you posted this entire topic in the "Dumbest things ever said on TPR" tread.

ebl
Interesting Photo TR. But believe it or not, this isn't the first Costco TR. Someone else did one back in the beginning of this forum (2005 or so). And their report was from one of the Costco stores right here in our county. On another note, you must be east of the Rockies because your Costco sells Hellmann's Mayonnaise. Out here we have Best Foods. Same exact stuff, just a different name. But that doesn't matter because I don't eat mayonnaise no matter what it's called. Eric

supertrooper
Sam's Club is horrible. I worked for the company for 12 years. As soon as I quit, I purchased a Costco card. The quality of the products, employees, and customers are better at Costco.
astroworldfan1
The pizza at Sam's is so good! I just perfer Sam's club. -Tatum
Mr. Starr
Is it me, or do all Costco's look EXACTLY alike?
ebl
^ There are slight dfferences in how each one is laid out. Even here in Ventura County, one Costco has its food inside while another has its food outside. That means that non-members can park and enjoy the hot dogs and pizza because they don't have to go inside past someone checking for the membership card they don't have. Some Costcos offer regional merchandise as well. But y'know, a warehouse is a warehouse is a warehouse... Eric
darklingscribe
There are also Business Costcos, one is not too far away from my house. IF you think the portions are huge at a normal Costco just wait till you see the restaurant supply section of a business Costco. 20 frozen lobster tails, 50 packs of cola, 5 gallon bags of frozen soup. I've also heard that Costco has furniture and housewares stores as well.

Jds03
^Costco has awesome samples too! But believe it or not, this isn't the first Costco TR. Someone else did one back in the beginning of this forum (2005 or so). He may have beaten me to the idea, but he didn't beat me to photographing a gallon of mayonnaise! Just think, instead of wasting the time to go to Costco for Red Bull and post this TR, you could have been working on your portfolio and then you wouldn't need to pull an all-nighter! But this way is so much more delicious and refreshing!
Team Thriller
Is it me, or do all Costco's look EXACTLY alike? Actually, all stores are very similar. They try and make you walk by idems to make you buy them. Always wonder why the diary products are usually in the back. Cause when people need them, they walk by other items and are 'wheeled' in to buy it. Anyways, very interesting TR. Makes me hungry reading it. --James

Unfortunately my family hasn't had a membership there in a while, but recently got it back, so I'll have to come back around spring break.
