cfc
Sounds like their hair salons will be better themed than many of their parks. I may be wrong, but I give this new enterprise one year--tops. Or maybe until April 1, when this is revealed to be an elaborate April Fools joke.
Top Thrill Dragster
I wonder if the employees will be wearing the bight yellow shirts like in the parks.

bigstevet07
The whole layout is kind of meh. It's trimmed way too much.
Hercules
True. But the hairpins, curls and sharp edges really give it some volume. However, I have a really hard time believing this gimmick won't fade.
BeemerBoy
Six Flags' world-famous cast of characters, including Mr. Six, also will be on hand to meet and greet children as they explore this magical escape built especially for them. Anyone else find it amusing that the park's main character is bald?
gotdane
I'm a bit upset I'm probably too tall to get the "Zoink".
bigstevet07
^^ Now that you mention MR. Six, I can totally see why they went into the hair cutting business. If he isn't wearing the suit but a white jacket, he totally looks like a barber.

Anyone else find it amusing that the park's main character is bald? Come to think of it, give Mr. Six a white barber's jacket and a thin gray moustache, and he would be the spitting image of Clyde Cripe, the guy who used to cut my hair when I was a kid. netdvn
I still can't believe Six Flags is desperate enough to actually offer haircuts as a way of making money. Six Flags' world-famous cast of characters, including Mr. Six, also will be on hand to meet and greet children as they explore this magical escape built especially for them. Does anybody else here find this kinda creepy? An overly happy old guy greeting children seems kinda scary.

ChrisZer0
In this economic climate, do you think its smart to open up a specialty barbershop themed to your product, im going to thumbs down this idea. Besides, id rather get my haircut at either floyds 99 or knockouts...
Hercules
I kind of think it is a good idea to be aggressive in this kind of economic climate. However, that is only if something is a good idea. This Six Flags haircutting nonsense....... not that great of an idea.
AllenA07
Somehow I think this is going to be one of those things that fizzles out quickly, and then reappears in 5-10 years as a trivia question.
ChrisZer0
Like Six Flags Power Plant or Krofts Superstars On Ice??
sros1fan
I was at the grand opening this morning and i have to say i was impressed. You can see my full TR with pics here
Mataceman
Thanks for the TR sros1fan. $20 for a haircut is a little steep for my blood. did it seam busy?
sros1fan
^ yes it was pretty busy while i was there and it was only open for about 15mins as i got there around 9:15am just after it opened. When i was leaving there was still people coming in. When you think about it its a good way to get kids interested in SF at an early age. I think you will see one in every large market city in the US.
nagro5
It seems more like a random gift shop than a place where you can get your hair cut. On a side note, I WANT THAT SHIRT!
ebl
Is this the only location or are there more elsewhere? Eric
Mataceman
this was the first location to open up. the TR said that they had a contract to open a 2nd one in another city.

Bolliger&Mabillard
I'm sorry...I know this has been an active topic for quite some time. I know there's an official press release for it. Hell, there's even pictures to prove it, but just so I know this isn't me hallucinating from so many sleepless days online, did Six Flags really open a hair salon? I mean really?, REALLY? ebl
^ Really. It was a hair-raising thought, but they did it! Eric
