robbalvey
Day 6 -  Yes, I know, I skipped a day! WiiFit even yelled at me (I didn't get a screenshot though!)  Who would have thought that shipping DVDs would mean no time for pretty much anything else? I didn't even get a chance to do my WiiFit work out last night. But I'll do a double one tonight!  Anyway, not much else to share other than I've been on my "powerbar and soup" diet for the last two days and even without working out, I've still dropped a couple of pounds!  Here is today's update:  Anyway, here's today's report... Starting weigh in - 260 Today's weigh in - 254 Total weight loss - 6 pounds in 6 Days  I honestly thought I'd do a bit better than 1 pound a day, especially right at the start, but I've noticed that my bathroom scale seems to weight me differently, and I actually trust the WiiFit weigh in a little better! My bathroom scale tells me I've lost more weight than 6 pounds, but I don't really *feel* like I have. So I'm trusting the video game with my health! Today's weigh in! Yes, we know...we just said that! I've lost two more pounds! Please don't ever let me "find" them again! Today I look very "content"

U2Rox
Hey Robb, Keep up the great work!! Losing pounds is actually exciting and fun! I know because I am also on the journey for the lost poundage myself!! Â It wasn't until I came home from the New York/Behemoth trip that I realized I needed to do something about my physical well-being. I thought that if I was to go on another TPR trip I wanted to have stamina, strength, and not feel tired and sick. Â So I decided to do something about it, finally! I started drinking Herbalife! Â My daily routine consists of: An Aloe vera mixture, which helps with digestion. An Herbal Tea, which helps with energy And a vitamin and protein shake. I Try to eat a normal to light lunch, then do it all over again for dinner. After my shake I walk jog, and run 2 miles. When I can, I also follow an ab training workout, which is Crazy Hard! Then a soup, sandwich, or salad after my workout. Â All this began in Aug. when I came back from the east coast. I weighed 168 pounds. Now I weigh in at 150 pounds. My BMI then 32.9%, Now 30.0% The goal is 125-130 pounds by July!! Â I take it day by day, and as long as I'm consistent with my exercise, I'm doing much more for my health than I ever was before. Thanks to Crazy Summer Coaster Trips and Herbalife!! Â Thanks for sharing this with us! It's good to know were not alone. I'll post my thoughts and updates as the weeks go by. Â And the Quest for the Lost Poundage Continues.......
spacemtfan
6 pounds in 6 days... Â Keep this up and you'll lose the 30 pounds in no time at all! Â ---space "only 24 more days to go" mtfan
Paul Arthur
I've noticed that my bathroom scale seems to weight me differently, and I actually trust the WiiFit weigh in a little better! My bathroom scale tells me I've lost more weight than 6 pounds, Â When doing this ourselves, we chose the WiiFit board as the control scale, as we also had a problem with 3 different scales reading three different weights. Â Last night, my wife Rebekah chose rhythm boxing as her Wii workout... and she can barely move her arms today.
terrancew_hod
^I hurt my back working up a sweat on my Dance Dance Revolution. I got an ice pack on my back now. I'm getting better though and getting the hang of moving around the pad. It shows me that 1) I'm getting old and 2) I've been lacking in the aerobics portion of my workout. Â Anyway, keep up the good work Robb! Â Terry
Paul Arthur
^ Rebekah borrowed a friend's DDR the other night..... she's pretty good at it. I look like a retarded monkey trying to audition for New Kids on the Block..... so I gave up on it. But just from the small amount I played on it, I worked up quite a sweat. It takes a deceiving amount of energy to step in time.

Guy T. Koepp
Keep up the good work Robb. At this rate, it seems like you will be bringing sexy back before Guy. Seems like he has been trying to bring sexy back for over a year now. Way to go! Maybe after this diet you can try the Spartan diet!  Hey Mister Ubersexy! In case you were wondering, bringing sexy back is hard work! It's not a 1 to 1 day ratio for some of us. It's more like 1 day to 1 week ratio. (Or month as the case may be.) We all don't have the youthful metabolism that some of you young, upwardly mobile, malnutritioned, recently engaged, Arizona residents have. Besides, if the Gods are with me. I will have brought sexy back by New Years Eve!  In a completely unrelated topic. IMO Robb needs not lose pound one to be sexy. He oozes it. (Among oozing many other things.) It seeps from his glands like like a festering, pustulating wound. On a hot day, sexy runs down the crack of his a$$ like a flume ride. Sexy has many names, one of them being Robb Alvey. (Another being Gorgonzola, evil lord, master and ruler of the underworld. But it's a subjective list of names.) I for one am proud of our big lovable teddy bear. Even if he is trying to become a big lovable teddy twig.  Unlike some other people I know. (Cough! Cough! Jimmybo!) I treat TPR not merely as a website, but as a religion. Kinda like Scientology... ...with coasters... ...and, dark rides... ...and... ...mouse ears. But a religion none the less. So if our lord and savior wishes to fast in the desert of Valencia for 30 days. Perhaps we all should take it as a sign of leadership and follow suit. Or just take it as a sign that there is the good possibility that you won't fit into Intamin lap bar restraints. Hence depriving you of some of the greatest pleasures on earth.  I Guy T. Koepp, a self appointed Cardinal of the Church of TPR. Decree that all children of the flock, (even those that are slightly unfit) repent their gluttonous earthly, and ACEly pleasures. (That's junk food people.) Like our savior! Be WiiFit ya'll! Get back into that Intamin seat, and proudly pull that bar back without having to tuck it under the roll of jelly you call dunlaps disease!  So sayeth the shepard!  Guy (Keep up the good work Robb.) Guy T. Koepp
I am but a vessel people! The power of TPR and it's only begotten son Robb compels me! I can not take credit for ya'lls change. You have seen divine grace and have been driven to change your wicked ways. Bask in his glory and your pounds too will be shed from your body. Eat of his fruit and... ...he he he! robbalvey
Hey everyone! Â I totally apologize for slacking in updates. But hopefully today's random WiiFit photos will more than make up for it! Â So today was the first time that I started to doubt Mr. WiiFit's accuracy for weighing me in. While I totally admin that I flaked out on Tuesday doing any sort of work out, I did over 30 credits yesterday and my food intake was really minimal. Â Today WiiFit weighed me in as having gained 1lb over the past 2 days, but my bathroom scale had me lost 1lb and I personally *feel* lighter. Â But whatever, it's only one pound and in the scope of things I have to just keep plugging away and move forward. Â Â Here is today's update: Â Anyway, here's today's report... Starting weigh in - 260 Today's weigh in - 255 Total weight loss - 5 pounds in 8 Days I think it's VERY irresponsible to have a fitness game where you get points for eating!!! It's a good thing I don't like fish otherwise I'd be bolting it over to Red Lobster right now! I just have to hope I don't unlock the game where I chow down on Vault ICEE's!!! According to WiiFit, this is what I would look like if I were a penguin. I've gained weight, my center of balance is crap, and I'm the lowest WiiFit age yet! Go figure! Grr.... T? What the hell is everyone doing?!?!
spacemtfan
You're falling behind a bit. But don't worry about it, Robb! I'm sure you'll catch up sooner or later. Â I have to ask...what are you going to do on Thanksgiving Day? I'm sure there's going to be a ton of food set out.
XII
I'd honestly say that the Penguin Game is having a positive impact on people as they're trying to encourage you to eat fish so you don't have as much room for all the unhealthy food. But I could be wrong and Wii Fit could be encouraging people to eat so they gain weight and need to buy Wii Fit. Anyways, Good Job Robb. Keep the good work up.
