In reference to the carpet....I'm not familiar with the Wii Fit scale but most normal scales aren't accurate on carpet. I too like the walking you did. It doesn't help alot but like you said it is better than sitting on your butt. You should try and walk at least 2 miles in the morning and night after or before Wii Fit. What time of day are you doing the Wii Fit and how often anyway?

Well, it's only been 3 days since I started it, but I've been doing it at least at night for 15 to 20 minutes and twice in the morning.

Really it depends on how much time I have in the morning before I have to leave for work. I do the weight in every morning, but not sure if I'll have time for the work out.

I tend to do most of my exercise at night, usually after 11pm.

As for the four pounds, did you take a meeaaaannnn dump yesterday? That always lightens the load.

So to speak.

This is cool, with the Wii showing us your progress. Keep it up, Robb. The workouts, that is. We know you can keep it up.....

Nevermind, I'll stop while I'm behind.....oh.......

Man, I wish I could work out that late! If I workout within three or four hours of going to bed, I can't go to sleep.

^ Well, the scale part of it has been totally accurate. It matches my weight loss/gain to my bathroom scale. But thanks to Wii Fit no hobbit feet photos this year!

LOL! I thought something was missing.

Glad to see the progress, even if it is flucuating. Like I said, you gave it the beat-down last year, and you'll do it again this year. No doubt.

I really need to get exercising but it's just too damn cold at the moment to go running! I move to UK like a month ago and have already put on a stone! I blame Dominos Pizza

Anyway good luck Robb and will there be a TPR montage soon?

This thread is awesome! Good luck with your Wii Fit journey, Robb!

I too, am trying to lose about 30 pounds. Except, I just want to lose it by next spring. So I have quite a bit more time.

I really wish that I could afford a Wii, but that just isn't going to happen anytime soon. I have to resort to the ancient weight loss system called running. What a bummer!

Dear Chocolate,

Please leave me alone!

Keep going, Robb! It's weird, between this thread, nay's marathons, and catching the Rocky IV training montage on TV the other day, I feel pretty inspired to get myself back in shape again.

^Rocky IV? Are you gonna rent a cabin somewhere in Siberia, chop wood, and hoist a net full of rocks in a freezing barn, Scott?

^Scott's gonna fly now!

Get the eye of the tiger now!

Gonna drink raw eggs now!

And punch a side of beef now!

Well, today wasn't quite as amazing as yesterday, but then again I didn't expect it to be. I kind of think yesterday and today balance themselves out to where I should be.

I did have a full meal yesterday, although fairly light, I did soup & salad at Olive Garden (Yeah, yeah, I know, but we don't have Carrabba's!) at around 2pm and then did a light snack for dinner.

I don't think that contributed to the weight gain as much as having lost so much the first day probably being unrealistic did.

I did a 1:15 walk with KidTums last night, did cardio at the gym for 20 minutes and did 15 minutes on Wii Fit.

But even with all that and some weight gain, I'm still on track...

Today's weigh in - 258

Total weight loss - 2 pounds in 2 Days

A few more balance exercises to help keep me on my toes!

NOTED!

I don't blame Wii Fit for calling me obese, I blame myself. Yes, I take personal responsibility, it's a rare thing lately, but I believe in it.

Yay! I may be fatter than yesterday, but my balance is better!

Yes! I will be shipping copies of Roller Coasters in the RAW 2 all weekend (have you ordered your copy yet?) ;)

Thanks for the update Robb. Don't get discouraged because you gained some weight back. Like you said it's most likely because you lost weight so quick the first day. Also it's a known fact that if you weigh yourself at night you weigh more than you really do. Weighing yourself first thing in the morning gives you your true weight. Keep up the great work!

^^^ & ^^

You two are not well. Ruby Rod said it best..."Bzzizzzzit!"

Robb, dunno if this helps, but when I go to strip malls lately (malls, NOT bars folks) I'll park at one end and walk to whereever or I'll park out a bit further in the parking lot to get in a little extra walking. That's if I'm not pressed for time. Doesn't sound like much, but those little bits do add up over time. Same thing at work. Park far out and walk a little more to the entrance. I'll take the stairs instead of the elevator and walk down to a further restroom or drink machine just to get a little break.

You probably are well aware of these, but they were worth mentioning in case not.

6 pounds...24 more to go!

Doing good, Robb! I think the WiiFit is really helping you out.

On a personal note: Yesterday, I had three tacos from Taco Bell for lunch and then I had 10 piece Chicken Nuggets at McDonald's. I went down from 133 to 129 pounds! I don't understand why,

Hey Robb, I was just looking through some news articles and found one that might help. Here's a quote:

Important rule of thumb: Avoid holiday-themed items from coffee shops at all costs. From peppermint to egg nog to pumpkin, these are often the most sugar- and fat-packed drinks you'll find at places like Starbucks. Make your own flavored drinks instead, using skim milk, sugar-free

syrups, and, of course, skipping the whip.

The article shows the 20 most unhealthy drinks in America. It's kinda depressing, but check it out anyway!
