kraken613
I assume its going to be like that I just hope they gdont kill the zreo-g roll!
matteocrepaldi
I've seen that on many B&M trims are never used. This ride so far looks really good.
TheRapidsNerd
I'm really looking forward to this park in the next couple years. It's a bit different from the others in an IOA way (yes, I do know the some of the IOA designers/whatever had a hand in this). HRP does get docked points right out of the chute, however...no rapids ride... yet From the size of the loop and cobra roll, does anybody else get a Hulk feel to Zep? Maybe it's the pic angles, but that's impression I get.
IwantRevenge
^ I do too actually, and the cobra roll actually looks bigger than the lift hill. Everything on zeppelin looks weird, the cobra rolls shape, the Zero G, aven that weird helix after the somewhat low MCBR.
hemmy
Am I the only one who thinks the Led Zep ride first drop isnt going to make it through that loop. Yes, B&M is not stupid enough to do that, especially with all the technology they have now to build rides.
kewlcoasterdude
^That was exactly what I was going to point out, but you beat me too it. I think this coaster looks like it will be really fun. I doubt it will be a top ten kind of coaster but it will be up there. Up there with the top ten coasters? Doubt it. kissorkill2night
Is the ride done?Is there still track to be installed or what? I can't tell cause you didn't take any pics of the backside of the ride near where the holding platforms are for the trains.
FLIPDUDE
Holy cow! How steep is that first drop?!

The pictures that I took were everything that was completed. It looks like the final sections of track, leading back into the loading platforms, haven't been installed yet. I expect that it is probably finished now; the work crews were so ahead of schedule that they ran out of coaster track to install, at one point! Scaparri
Holy cow! How steep is that first drop?! Nothing noteworthy. It's just the angle of those pics. See: Image obviously taken from discovermyrtlebeach.com
Johnny Upsidedown
Had a chance to stop by the park over the weekend. What a strange place for an amusement park. Sure doesnt seem that much to the park or they still have a ton of work to do. Shot a few photos of construction. Here are a few, more here if want to take alook http://www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new2008hr.html
sam06pr
Did any of you noticed this? is it me or are the seats divided by a gap? am i looking at this wrong. I have not seen something like this in any B&M sitdown. www.johnnyupsidedown.com/new08/hr20a.jpg
olimonn
It's you. Take a ruler and measure, the distance is exactly the same.
asr
The Zeppelin-esque theming on the front of the trains looks pretty neat. I can't wait to see the train without the clear plastic covering.

I have not seen something like this in any B&M sitdown. Yeah, again, it's you. It's almost like an optical illusion. I've seen the same question come up with other B&M trains upon arrival. Johnny Upsidedown
Thats funny, when I first saw the photo of the train I thought the same thing, it just looks like that because of the wrappers. Anyway I like the blimp front nose styling on the train. I wonder if it follows the same design all the way down the sides and if it has any type of tail feature on the back of the trains. Or maybe a color difference in the back.
sam06pr
oh i see...those damn plastic stuff. lol. Just like everyone I like the theme of the car.

speedracer
New site just went live with an interactive map, be sure to check out the vid of the just announed "Nights In White Satin-The Trip": http://www.hardrockpark.com/ Amazing, a dark ride simulating an acid trip, Magic Mushroom Garden, etc. should build something like that here in San Francisco! Looking forward to the Punk Pit Bounce House, specially designed to accomodate every member of the family!
speedracer
Can see a model from IAAPA of what the lift mechanism for Max RPM will be like: http://www.coastercrew.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=109&pos=51 On a related note, SoCal may be the location of the next HRP, the second of more HRPs possibly in the works: http://www.ocregister.com/news/park-chivas-santa-1919698-golf-course They would be smart to locate near DL, especially with the multi-billion dollar resort-wide expansion coming. portaventura07
It would seem that they have a concert area as well. Should be a good park. Also, I thought Zeppelin was going to be an indoor dark ride?
jamjar
no updates?
sam06pr
Led Zepellin the ride does not really excite me either. It's like all the other typical B&M sitdown. I was hoping for a floorless with new elements but this is what they came up with. so I was like..meh..it will be an ok coaster. However, The music will make it a better ride, but whatever
DATman
The only thing I'm excited for on LZ is the completely stright drop, something rare on a B&M with inversions.
Screamomatic
I like it's simplicity.
