SFMM162op Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Thanks Robb, especially for braving the crazy crowds in the park today. Way too insanse for my cup of tea, lol.
ArizonaGuy Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Testing Video coming later tonight!!!! Everyone say "THANK YOU ROBB" for camping out at the park this evening when we have so much going on just to make sure you guys get a nice video of the ride testing!  Thanks for the update Elissa and thank you Robb for the pretty video that you're going to post.
Manic Monte Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 That's awesome you guys! Can't wait to see it. Â I was out at the park today as well, and the coaster lines were insane. We lasted until about 4pm. Only got 3 rides in!

Calicoasters Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Thanks a bunch Robb! Can't wait to see just how many cars are on this train! I'm praying it's not 8!
ZeroG001 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Thanks so much Robb! I'm really looking forward to the video, and I really appreciate everything you guys do on this site.
ethans_dad06 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Gee guys, I can't imagine how you guys do it, I have two kids at home and barely have time for dinner sometimes! I couldn't thank you guys enough for all the time you guys put in to bring us these updates. It's easy to take for granted the time it takes you guys to run a site like this and frequently update it with construction photos, late night testing videos, and the special tpr events like WCB, so thank you Robb and Elissa. Your time and work is so greatly appreiciated!!
robbalvey Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Working on a video now. Here's photos of the ride testing to at least hold you over. Speakers.
atem122 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Aw that looks beautiful!!!! That black streak rolling down the tracks just looks great, do you know if they've started testing the speakers yet? Â Oh, and now I can be the first to say thank you AFTER seeing the update
Calicoasters Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Can't wait for it! Glad to see there are more than 8 cars! I can die happy... after I ride it of coarse. Â It looks like 11 in your picture... is it? I that the zero car in the back I see?
cooksta77 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I love it! I can't wait to see it in person! Again Thank you Robb.
robbalvey Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Can't wait for it! Glad to see there are more than 8 cars! I can die happy Just to confirm there are 11 cars per train. Well, 11 cars and a "giant box!" Â --Robb
CreditCrazy Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 That first picture almost looks like it'd be El Toro's younger brother! Can't wait for the video!
Calicoasters Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I'm sure we will find out when you post the video, but what does the front car look like? Just curious how the front looks with the audio in front. I hope it's not too much of a view blocker.
rollercoasterfreak91 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Wow, thanks Robb...haha I've been checking TPR all day...this ride looks to be hekka legit.
robbalvey Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 I'm sure we will find out when you post the video, but what does the front car look like? Just curious how the front looks with the audio in front. I hope it's not too much of a view blocker. To be honest, I didn't really get a goot shot of the front banister. It was getting a bit dark and I really only got *one* good run before I lost most of the sunlight. So instead of doing too much of zoomed in shot I opted for a wider shot so we could see the train in action. Â The video is rendering now, but HD video takes a lot longer to render than standard definition so it's taking a while... Â --Robb
atem122 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 ^^Somebody's from Nor Cal  Just a thought here, how come Disney is so much better at hiding their SOBAT computer boxes than sf is? I'm not sure about BizaROS, but all of the other computer boxes really stand out, while if you ride California Screamin or Space mountain, you either barely notice where the computer goes, (on Screamin's back end) or not at all (I still havent found Space Mountain's).
