From this still from the animated video from the ride, you can see alot of green grass, trees, shrubbery all around, so as for giving it a dark tone to Terminator for the landscaping, it may not have too much of a dark apocalyptic look on the outside, perhaps a little, but most of it may actually be in the loading station.

Yea I usually notice a lot of shrubbery with the animations like that. I wonder what they would need shrubs for? I am really excited for when the ride starts testing, I want to see the train designs. The 22nd cant get here fast enough!

The exaggeration of shrubbery in the animation videos is probably just to make the ride look more appealing in the video, especially when the animations will find themselves on Youtube, Twitter, etc.

Is it possible that that video was created before the Terminator theme was decided upon for the coaster? At WCB, Tim Burkhardt mentioned how the park and the movie people came together after both individual projects were already green-lit.

Plus I'm pretty sure the intent of the video was to give a general idea of the ride & its layout, and not be a 100% accurate display of every blade of grass that may, or may not, end up being there in the finish project. Concept art, or video in this case, is never totally accurate like that.

Just to point something out, the animation looks to be accurate from the standpoint of the layout of track, but when you get to the base of the structure there is no concrete slab showing, which covers pretty much all of the area shown having grass. I would say the foliage would have to be around the ride rather than within the structure itself.

I believe the concrete slabs used for this coaster will be covered over by dirt, some grass, and foilage and shrubbery, but probably that quick grow grass seed product may be used, or just plain fake artificial grass, but perhaps that may not look so good, no green whatsoever like shown in that video, because this is a dark, apocalyptic theme, and perhaps that video was indeed made before the theme was decided, or it was made to throw all us coaster enthusiasts off.

However, they added no landscaping to 'Scream', so if they leave the concrete slabs bare, it may not look great, so they'll add I am sure some kind of landscaping on top of it, or yes around it.

If they're landscaping, they may be doing that this week, like today. And yes I am eagered for more Sky Tower pictures, and pictures from the other side of Terminator.

I still think that bridge is too small.

Great pics! Station looking good. Still no sights of the trains, so strange. They must be hiding them pretty good, usually a month before opening of a new coaster we usually have pics of them stored some place around the property

It's possible that they're stored in a place where it would violate TPR rules to show a pic of them. Not saying that's what's happening, just that it's one possibility why there aren't any train pics yet.

It sounds to me like this might be a hint. Either way, we should see the trains soon because they need to get this thing testing pretty soon. I was at the park on Thursday and saw it from the sky tower. The ride looks amazing and I can't wait to get on it.

Well if they wanted to plant grass or shrubs or any other type of foilage they could do it in the concrete slab, all they would have to do is cover the slab with soil and then plant. But I doubt they will do anything of that nature because I think it will be fairly difficult to see any of that area through the dense structure anyway. Plus didn't Tim say that when you enter the pre show you won't see the light of day until you exit the station on the train? Therefor the need for any foilage beyond the preshow buildings I think would be kinds pointless. Unless of course the preshow will have foilage in it to give a sense of being outdoors.

I always thought the process of naming/theming a coaster first involved finding the right design, and then once thats settled, then the surrounding area might have some influence.

But I guess SFMM proved me wrong. Maybe the Terminator theme was originally decided upon, or was a last minute decision. Gunna have to ask Tom or Jay about that

I agree though with what you said about the video, which I kinda figured after I noticed Tatsu wasnt on the mountain and X2 was unusually close. I just meant that they put in the shrubbery just to make it look a little bit better on the animation video itself.

I imagine that they'll cover the concrete with more rubble and whatnot to better fit the ride's post-apocalyptic theming however.

^I doubt they will cover the slab at all!

All animations and concept art never show you what the theme will really look like. Especially in this case when Hollywood is involved The most accurate animation I've ever seen is THBS. If only Goliath turned out the way it was portraid in the concept art, the coaster would dive under a temple and race through a jungle!

Don't expect any planting on the concrete slab. No drainage and you would have a problem with roots with plants or trees.

Well, the drainage wouldn't be that big of an issue, for all we know that slab has a 2% fall from center out(which is all that is needed for proper drainage) and then it eould be as easy as laying down perferated pipe for the sub drain. The roots could be a problem but only if your gonna plant large trees, which I doubt would happen. But foilage is planted on top of soil covered concrete all the time.

I changed the flashpass line entrance to what could be the exit to Terminator, thanks for CreditCrazy reminding me about the exit. If there is a flashpass quene line, it most likely will be somewhere in the regular quene line, or near the station.

Note: How do you delete an image? I was going to delete the one I previously posted.

Just a random question, is it possible to use the bridge we used for the backstage tour of WCB as the exit??? Also, I know there is some kind of wall entry/exit for employees near Deja Vu's entrance, is there some sort of bridge over that way they could be using???

I was really hoping they would take this time to really open things up back there, but it seems that the entrance will be hidden once again.

^ I don't think it'll be as hidden as you think. Psyclone's entry/exit was hidden because of where it was, and when Deja Vu arrived, it blocked Psyclone even more---so much so that they had to remodel the entrance to that.

Once that fence comes down, it'll be easy to find Terminator's entrance.

I still say the pre-show buildings are pre-fabbed and the stuff going inside will be easy to set up. There's plenty of room in the back of the ride (as we saw on the tour at WCB), so getting everything into the area shouldn't be much of a problem.

Even if the buildings aren't pre-fabbed, the materials can still be brought in and assembled. Surely they've worked this stuff out.

The entrance is going to definitely be A LOT more noticeable then Psyclones. It can't be worse than X's. I mean its like WAY off the path if you think about it. And X's bridge is probably about the same size and it does its job.

I am getting so jittery for this ride. The anticipation is killing me.
