Well here we are! Me big pumpkin maniac! Give me some children! Well KK really does keep the guests entertained while there waiting for the park to open. KK is setting up for Freight Fest next week! Greezed Lightnin's Loop and spike That's the highest we got on the back spike... Well what are we going to do with the rainbow boss? Lets make a damn Fright Fest Decoration out of it! View of the Wave pool and the SLC! Don't worry I see you! Big Wheel Chang towers over everything in the park! I think I've heard this element called the "Speed Carousel" or something... Holy F$%& DO YOU SEE THAT LINE! nerd shot... sexy... B&M goodness! I love this picture! Final Picture of Chang is an awsome corkscrew shot! Are you ready for some airtime? walk-on! Roaring through a Bunny Hill! SFKK just doesn't feel right without Twisted Twins and Mile High Falls Coaster whore freindly ride! Awww Someone broke Road Runner! Bounty One of KK new Haunts! Nightmare INC. Looks like KK went all out on the scenery for the Haunt this year... Wait? Whats missing here? blah Thank you for reading my Trip Report! Now, I really thought the park today was "ok" Chang was the only coaster that really didnt need anything...Everything on the ride side needs to be painted! Thunder Run need new trains and needs to be retracked bad! It was really sad walking through the empty park looking at all rides that looked horrible and remembering how it once was...It was very sad. pgathriller
I love visiting amusement parks in that type of weather! Walk on's, no heat, no crowding, it's great! Is the Rainbow closed or is it just temporalily closed for Halloween? I know part of the rides section had closed and I'm also aware that there was a Rainbow ride incident at another park, does any of the two stated reasons have anything to due with it being closed? Rainbow is one of my favorite flats. Nice Pics
DBru
Great PTR! I agree with most of the points you made about the park... ^The Rainbow has been running the season, so I guess they just thought it would look nice as some haunt scenery...lol

Rainbow is one of my favorite flats. Yes, Rainbow is the best. Just the sound it makes... Don't know about this or other parks, but at least at Linnanmäki it has been closed since July. It was briefly listed in open rides for the upcoming light carnival in October, but they changed the list and so it appears that it will remain closed for this year. Hopefully HUSS will find a way to fix them, seeing that ride standing useless with lights out is a very sad sight. Or then they should come out and say that the design is fundamentally flawed and close all these rides for good. It would be sad, but better than wondering if and when they are going to open again... kalvin
do we still have a definate reason why Twisted Twins and mile high falls were closed off?
DBru
^Rehab (on MHF, at least...) and staffing problems, due to the fact that you now must be 18 to operate a ride in Kentucky...
ratdogg68
Nice pictures man, I never made it to the park this summer, not even when I was at the state fair. Nice to get a look at my former place of employment. Still looks the same.
