P. 288: New B&M Dive Machine Announced!

Recommended Posts

I'm in SA for work and thinking about venturing to the park for a few hours with the hubby. I was hoping to go around 1/2pm and leave by 4. Do you think tomorrow is going to be insanely busy with the triple digit temperature? We were hoping to hit the new water ride, Iron Rattler, Superman, Pandemonium, and Scream. Is the park generally more crowded in the heat of the day or the evening around 7? We can be flexible with the time. The morning isn't an option unfortunately. We haven't been in 2 years so it will be nice to visit again!

Thanks!

That's 5 rides in two hours. That's less than 30 minutes for each attraction coming and going. I don't think it's possible. The line for the water coaster alone is gonna take a chunk of that time.

I was there literally two weeks ago on 7/6. The dry side of the park was dead. The longest we waited was about 45 minutes for the new water slide. Iron Rattler was about a 30 minutes wait due to waiting for the front row. Superman was about 15 minutes due to waiting for the front/back rows. Pandemonium, Goliath, and Poltergeist were about 10 minutes. Boomerang was a walk on. Didn't ride Scream because I don't like S&S towers but it looked about 10 minutes. You could at least ride all of the coasters in that amount of time easily.

It looks like the lift turn-around uses Power Surge's current one. I might have the scale off, but I think they might be moving Pandemonium/go-karts elsewhere to fit the full GCI layout. Thoughts?

I hope this is legit. It may be photoshopped because the red inky stuff in the comments looks exactly liked Mystic Timbers stamp on their leaked plans... Unless GCI Uses it as a code or something.

A few days before the announcement of PS closing I said that I think they will take out PS and relocate Pandy, and put in a woodie.

Did you get that off the Coaster Studios FB page?

I saw it on another site and didn't fully analyze it, but I do see that it was sourced from Coaster Studios now.... If I had known, I would never have posted... Of course it's fake!

Ban him!

I'm not one to say what's real or fake or speculation or whatever but a GCI where Power Surge is something I've wanted for a while now, so if that is what ends up happening I will be a very happy person.

I certainly hope it ends up being real. I feel like it would be a great move for the park. I don't know how business works, but you would think it would bring a great return of investment.

According to the experts SF will only be investing in cheaper smaller scale additions so my question is what would be the cheaper addition the Mack pulsar? Or the Gci woody?

Also didn't they just build a watercoaster this year? If so then my guess would be the Gci is more likely. I also like the layout reminds me of Apocalypse which I love.
