viking86
Great to hear that the ride has turned out so well. Wouldn't be surprised to see more of these appearing in the future....
ArizonaGuy
I'm hoping that SFStL gets one. They're in need of a new coaster and something like this would definitely fit the bill.
chadster
I have a funny feeling that we will be seeing several more of these(and that is NOT a bad thing) due to their small footprint, cost effectiveness, but most of all, because they are a hell of a good time. S&S does have a taller/larger model available for sale, however for SFFT my opinion is this model was the perfect fit. (It helps that it fit nicely into the available space)

Garet
The TPR video of this is popping up everywhere: http://www.cinemablend.com/pop/Batman-Rollercoaster-Unlike-Anything-Ever-Seen-72060.html
Superbatboy
Anyone know what kind of price tag the current BTR came with? I thought I remember seeing something around the time it was announced that said it was $7 million. I might be remembering wrong though.
KBrylczyk
Hey guys - I'll be at Fiesta Texas on Thursday, praying for the apocalypse of storms to be taking a day off. Now I'm aware that some Six Flags parks offer early entry to their gold pass holders, sometimes with a walkback to the most popular rides (SFGAm walks you to Goliath, for instance). All I can find on the Six Flags website is that there's early entry to the water park. Is there any kind of passholder perk to get to Batman first or will we be at the front gates and enter at 10:30 with the GP? Thanks!
Ducky dude
^ I have not been there before park opening since last season, So, I'm not sure if they still do Gold Pass early entry, or how that currently works. But, it might be safe just to get to the park early if you are from out of town, just because the opening rush at SFFT can be loaded with crowds. LiftThrill
SFFT is my homepark, and it's pretty fun even though the coaster selection is slim. I went on Batman: The Ride on the 25th and the lines were outright amazing. There were mild storms passing through and so nobody wanted to be there. The line was 15 minutes max. As for the ride, it was a total bundle of fun. Just random craziness and flipping and all that jazz. There wasn't very much noticeable g-force or airtime since you're more focused on figuring out which way is up or down, haha. It's more of a "giggle ride" (people were giggling while they were riding it, no joke) than a "thrill ride" so to speak, but it's still totally worth riding. I haven't been to any other parks recently so I haven't been on a ZacSpin. Can anyone else compare it to one of those? I'm interested in how it compares. Mrlittle
I was able to make it out to the park yesterday. Got a few rides in before the storm hit. Iron Rattler was hauling and Superman looks so great with the new paint job. Of course my main goal was to ride Batman. I got two rides in and both were extremely different. It's a fun, smooth ride. I would not complain if they built these at other parks. It was a lot of fun.
LiftThrill
I wish I could have gotten more out of my trip yesterday. I couldn't go until 1PM so all I got was a Superman ride but hey, I was one of the only two people of our group who got to ride anything at all. Hopefully I can skip the last day of school on Thursday to have an emptier park day. Maybe Road Runner will finally open back up. Last time I rode it was a few months ago and it was definitely riding rougher than I remember.
SFFTfan
I decided to go around 7:15 yesterday after the weather settled down. Everything except Batman was walk on. IRat was hauling. Nice evening
The49er
I'd be interested in hearing if the Free Fly models are less aggressive than the ZacSpins. *flashback to getting rekt by Green Lantern at SFMM* Looks like a cool new ride, though...I would love to try it out if I ever find myself in the area. I've always heard Green Lantern was rough, but Batman is the complete opposite. The restraints are some of the most comfortable ever made.
Manic Monte
Green Lantern is not rough. It's as smooth a ride as they come. But the ride doesn't spin as it should, causing the body to hang in uncomfortable positions.
LiftThrill
I can support that Batman is super smooth and not rough or painful. The seats are also super comfy in the leaning positions once they unlock.
Superbatboy
Can't wait to see where the next 4D Free Spin gets installed. Seems like a hit so far. In stark contrast to GL which isn't well loved. I personally like GL because it's so aggressive. At any given point you feel like you can be thrown from the ride. It's such a rush to me, especially at night. The pain kinda comes with the territory unfortunately
LiftThrill
I went today and everything except Batman was a walk-on. Iron Rattler was hauling bigtime, SKC was as forceful and fun as ever, Road Runner finally opened back up and was a little bit smoother than in the past but still a bit rough. I sat in the 1st car, 2nd row, right side. My restraint wouldn't lock as far down as I wanted it to but all the other lapbars in the train worked fine. Pandemonium ran pretty well too. Batman was a nice adrenaline rush, but the biggest surprise of the day was how forceful Goliath was running. I was in the 4th row, far left car and hoooly crap it felt way faster than I remember. Even the back seat didn't compare to this. Wow. Everything felt so much faster. 1st off, we headed to Road Runner to see if it was open since the sign at the front is pretty much a hit or miss and today it said that nothing was closed. Road Runner had a ~5 minute wait as they were only running one train. Would've been a walk-on if the previous ride had been sooner. The ride was pretty rough and the lap bar got stuck one click higher than I'd have liked, but it's still a fun ride and pretty long too. After that we headed to Superman because we felt like it. They were running two trains, and it was a walk-on everywhere but the first, second, and last rows. We took the third row. A very fun and forceful coaster that's also really long. After getting off Superman we checked to see if Batman was open, but they were only running empty trains so we headed to the Boardwalk. Pandemonium was pretty much a walk-on as well (we waited less than 5 minutes). Sure, it's cloned to an insane degree. Sure, it's tiny. Sure, it's in the back of the park like it's not supposed to be there. All this aside, Pandemonium is a great family coaster with some nice floater airtime here and there. Very fun ride. After Pandemonium we noticed that Batman was open, so we headed over there. This was the longest wait of the day, and it only took 15-20 minutes. Batman is incredibly smooth, really fun, and overall a great addition to the park. After that we realized that we hadn't ridden the best coaster in the park yet, so we headed back to Crackaxle Canyon to ride Iron Rattler. This was the first time I've ridden it since they started applying the brakes at the top (the last two times it just went over the top). They were just loading as we get to the station so we grabbed the first row we saw, the 5th row. The back had a line and we were running out of time so we hopped right in. The 5th row is awesome with the brakes at the top. The brakes kick in right when you're at the peak of the drop, so you get a nice pop of airtime once it finally starts moving although I'm sure the back is better at this. It was running super well today. Lots of overbanked fun and not-quite-ejector airtime. Definitely my favorite ride at SFFT. After that we headed to the front and saw that Goliath was also a literal walk-on so we climbed the stairs and hit the fourth row. Man, I haven't ridden this in the back but the fourth row on the coaster felt waaay faster than the front (where we usually sit). Incredibly forceful and very whippy inversions. A great way to end the trip. I also wish I could've stayed longer but I had commitments at 4:30. Great park, great visit.

I don't think it's a poorly designed vehicle, considering the positive comments on the other zac spins... I think it's the modifications SFMM made to reduce spinning that made it uncomfortable, didn't some-one say MM added weights to the bottom of the carriages? Coaster Hero
^They did. Plus, they make sure the trains' weight is evenly distributed. If you somehow get past that and make the weight unbalanced the ride can be batsh*t crazy from what I've heard, and it can actually be hard to stop spinning Insane is 100x better though, no modifications
