Now, Bill. . you have to search for the clinical term:  "Blueprints shaped like penis"

I'm in line for Dare Devil Dive in technical rehearsal. This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill!

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has sent us a press release about the return of the annual Mardi Gras Festival at Six Flags Fiesta Texas including several new experiences that will debut this year!

Posted to SFFT Twitter a bit ago. I love the marketing initiative to install a sign on the track as it makes its way from Idaho

The trucks are rollin'! Be on the lookout for #BatmanTheRide track sightings. #SFFT2015

I happened to notice yesterday that this park has been added to Google Street view. This may be old news but I had fun looking around... it makes me really want to get out to this park because it really doesn't seem like a Six Flags park at all and it's location is beautiful.

I'm curious why the track is in Utah, since it (or at least some) is being made by RMC up in Idaho.

Could be a variety of reasons as it was manufactured for S&S. A reasonable route would take the track through Utah so a stop at S&S seems logical for historical reasons, to add items to the load that S&S had manufactured, or simply because they wanted to look it over.

It'll interesting too see how this compares to intamin's version in practice, as on paper it looks really good.

I'm curious as well, since people complain so much about Green Lantern (which I personally love and always have a great time on, despite a little soreness afterwards)

It'll ride much better according to Alan Schilke, and he does make a point: On the Intamin version, the pivot point is behind your back, which means the rotations throw you outward, and that s very uncomfortable. On the Free Spin, the center of rotation is a little toward you. Such as the heartline, it'll make the spins more fluid and comfortable.

Fixed. The one in Grona Lund didn't seem to suffer these complaints, IMhO. And I loved it!

(Pardon for the sidebar...)
