Six Flags Fiesta Texas (SFFT) Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

But we're forgetting that the park said that another ride in Rockville would closing. If it's not hustler, what will it be?

I'm hoping they intended it to be Hustler, and saw some backlash so changed their minds.

meaning nothing else would be closing.

SFFT doesn't already have a "Batman: The Ride" right?

LOL You of course are the expert, but you are correct.

SFFT's BTR clone is actually called Goliath, and the park doesn't have anything Batman themed currently.

^ Hey, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything, like a flat ride or something!

Nope. the ONLY thing they have (currently ) themed to super-hero stuff is Superman Krypton Koaster, and the WB/DC Comics store at the exit.

I don't get why everyone is so excited about the names being leaked. As Robb said, "Does it matter? Honestly, DOES. IT. MATTER?!?!?"

I'm more interested in the manufacturer and layout of said attractions.

Now that we know the Batman theme, does Six Flags still do Batman Stunt Shows in its parks? I thought most or all had closed, but something along those lines (probably not including a batmobile or explosions like the old shows) seems likely for the old Rockin' in Rockville auditorium.

I forget about other parks, but Astroworld and Darien Lake ran a show called Batman Thrill Spectacular. It would be to see then resurrect this show and bring it back.

The free spin seems even more likely now because if you think of bats, they have wings, and this is sort of like a wing coaster. Maybe they'll use BTR as the name or even Batwing.

I'll try again, maybe someone will answer this time. lol

I'm visiting Fiesta Texas here on September 21st. With that in mind, two questions:

1.) What are the crowds like for this time of year? It's a Sunday in late September, so I'm thinking not to bad.

2.) How should we go about rides? There is only three coming.

The crowds shouldn't be terrible. I noticed the park is open till 6:00 that day. I personally always go to Iron Rattler first then Superman. If this is your first time going and your trying to ride everything. I Suggest getting there early and ride Boomerang first. It has the worst loading time then the other coasters. Plus you'll be done with the worst coaster at the park.

Forums usually like to ignore people who are new and don't have many post, from my experience. I live in san antonio and visit Fiesta Texas quite frequently with my children. The park is not busy at all on Sundays, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the rides. I would start to the right side of the park when you get there and continue along and ride the coasters and other rides as your walking by them. But first grab a ride on the Goliath as its very close to the entrance when you first walk in. Hope that helps
