p. 337: Quantum Accelerator family coaster announced for 2025!

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all the tips everyone!!! I read every one, and now I have to figure out my itinerary over the next 3-4 weeks (flights, hotel, food options, etc)! I'll post back in here when I have my itinerary locked down in case that'll help anyone else

I've seen absolutely nothing that would contradict the notion that it's nothing but suburban sprawl, rural deprivation, and borderline Rust Belt levels of urban decay.

This actually sounds like a nearly perfect description of the entire country.

This is my idea of what will be new for 2016 at the park:

- A Larson Loop Coaster (as the popular rumors go)

- It will take the empty lot of the dismantled Twister in Rockville

- It will be named Rockville Rocket, like the Bourbon Street Fireball (the towns' sports team nickname is the Rockets, for those who didn't know)

[look at the top left corner in the image below]

- The old Twister spot fits the potential ride perfectly, and it will bring more attention to that quickly walked-through area of the park

Tell me what you think below this post!

Where did this Flashback removal stuff come from? They clearly don't care about having 2 boomerangs next to eachother and Flashback seems to be the smoother and more reliable of the two so I don't know why we're all convinced it's going anywhere.

Just chilling at the hotel now, but I'm prepped to spend the day here at SFNE. 1st time venturing out of the Midwest for coasters, so giggity

I am curious how crowds will be today since it's gonna be 90*F+. Gonna have to venture into a water park for the 1st time cause of that I think... Also get to check off several coaster 1st's today... Lots of new stuff for this theme park noobcake here today...

^I've been wanting desperately to get to SFNE for well over a decade now, but haven't yet been able to make it out! Enjoy yourself there, and this wonderful opportunity! Be sure to post your "first timer" thoughts at some point afterward!

So I went to the park yesterday, and I peered into the empty Twister lot (ironically while they where playing a song with the word "suspicion" a lot xD), but I didn't see markers. I'm guessing that means that the park has no need for markers this early, since it would be quite a lot easier to install compared to a roller coaster. I'm still sticking to my idea, but that may change as teasers or leaks come out soon.

And I bet you won't see them next year, or the year after that, or the year after that, or the year after that either. I'm sill waiting for the markers in Rodeo's pad, Time Warp's pad, Spider's pad and a bunch of others that I can't even remember any more. lol

In fact, an Invertigo sounds like an even better idea than a carnival loop!

They sort of hid it but the rides did operate together for a season or two and it was never replaced. The entrance and exit paths are still visible.

If I recall correctly, Time Warp occupied the space currently held by Pandemonium's current queue, which originally wrapped around the back of Pandemonium.

Exit is orange roof on left side of pic, entrance directly behind Timewarp and pandemonium queue to the right across from trampolines

Time warp was awesome, miss that ride. It was located directly across from blizzard rivers entrance you entered under a section of track for pandemonium, as the coaster was built around time warp. That was never part of Pandemonium's queue.
