camthedominator
Thank god this park wasn't voted one of the Friendliest parks in the country again. That was the most ridiculous thing to ever come out of the Golden Ticket awards and that's saying something. Ikr it's my home park and the staff is not friendly at all, except for maybe a few of them That's the funny thing. They have some of the rudest staff of any park anywhere. If they had a golden ticket award for the rudest and worst staff and they won I would have no complaints. I would be shocked if they didn't win that award actually. Yeah, that was rather funny. I guess those die-hard (by the way, if any die hard SFNE fans are offended, my apologies) SFNE fans were hard at work.

SFNE is like that a$$hole neighbor who has the sweet pool. You put up with the obnoxious behavior because of his pool parties.

Canobie Coaster
I had a surprisingly good visit there on Saturday. It was my first visit of the year and it was probably the best experience I've had at the park other than Bizarro Bash and my first time there. Bizarro was running as well as it has since its transformation. While the audio wasn't working, the train was flying through the course and had plenty of airtime. While it is still behind Skyrush, Phantom's Revenge, and a trio of B&M hypers in my personal rankings, it is still a fantastic coaster. The New England SkyScreamer was a lot of fun. The cycle was quite short, but the views were fantastic. I personally enjoy the Windseekers to the Star Flyers, but both are some of my favorite flats anywhere. As for Goliath, I still found the ride to be very good. It was just as smooth as it was with the old Vekoma trains. The only negative is that the train does really drag through the cobra roll during the reverse portion, but I'll take the improved reliability. This was my first visit at the park where I never saw Goliath shut down due to a mechanical issue (it closed for an hour during a nearby storm). ejot
I had a surprisingly good visit there on Saturday. Likewise. After all the big rides closed briefly for some passing weather in the mid afternoon the crowds really cleared out. Bizarro line was station and stairs only. After the second brief weather closure it was walk-on everywhere but front and back. Awesome! Nothing like quick rerides on a top-rated coaster to really bring out the appreciation. Was running great too, fast and smooth. Many ride ops are so rude it's actually entertaining, so that was fun. And it was Pride in the Park, and sweltering, so there were scores of scantily clad gay dudes to ogle. No complaints.

ScreaminNewEngland
Bizarro and Wicked Cyclone are really the only ones. I guess Goliath, Batman and Pandemonium could come too... Lake Compounce can have the scraps.
ECZenith
^^ There are still some really good flat rides at SFNE. Well... Three in my opinion. New England Sky Screamer Tomahawk Scream! I do really miss their once awesome collection of great flat rides though... Rest in pieces Time Warp, Nightwing, Twister, and the evil, evil S&S flat ride. (We dare not speak it's name...) Also I feel Dark Knight is quite under rated.. More intense to me than much of the B&M coasters I have been on. I love it's lil zero g roll... One ride I feel is often ignored that I can never pass up a spin on is Pandemonium.I love those Gerstlauer spinners and SFNE's trench dips were a nice touch. coasterbill
Please don't post about Tomohawk... we need SFNE to forget it's there so they don't get rid of it. If they catch wind of the fact that there's still a family flat ride in the park with mass appeal they'll remove it immediately. Just keep quiet and hope they don't notice. They probably had the most awesome lineup of flat rides out of all the Six Flags parks. Why would they ruin that?

ECZenith
I was referring to Catapult. While it was a little tight on my shoulders it was a very bizarre ride. Does Thorpe still have theirs ? I really miss the Huss Flyaway Nightwing, I don't think Huss makes them anymore and it was frequently closed. Great sensation of flight on this one... With a major new coaster under construction I anticipate a flat ride or justice league dark ride for '16, although Id rather see SRoS return to glory... I can still keep my fingers crossed for the S&S free spin, as I imagine if BTR is successful these will pop up nationwide.
coasterbill
They do have an empty building for a Justice League dark ride in the DC area that used to house their Trabaunt ride. Given the fact that it's in the DC area and the building already fits the theme it seems like a great place to put it. It almost makes too much sense not to do it. For that reason I predict that in 2016 Houdini will be replaced with a Justice League dark ride, that building in the DC area will stay empty and they'll remove Kontiki just for fun.
