Superdasher
Well to me, this is no great loss, really. It's just a Mack Wild Mouse in a box, isn't it?
ghost007jas
^ Never underestimate the power of the Mack.
Kennyweird
^ Agreed. Theming can take an unremarkable coaster, like a Mack, and turn it into an awesome ride. It's a shame this happened, but like others mentioned, it leaves room for something unique at SFNE.
HerBlackWings
^good point. Ooooh, I want a spaghetti bowl.
downunder
^Or maybe a nice little indoor Eurofighter could go in that shed, SFNE get on the horn to Gerstaler pronto!
HerBlackWings
^What, Pandemonium isn't enough to satisfy? J/K, I'd LOVE to see a Eurofighter (with or without a box) go in "Knight Rider"'s place.... or a squirrel... or a Intamin ball... or A Fricking Huss Rainbow.... Mozart67
^Or maybe a nice little indoor Eurofighter could go in that shed, SFNE get on the horn to Gerstaler ^ That is such a fantastic idea! I'll miss the Dark Knight because the other mouse is a spinning mouse and I have a history of lunch losing on those type of things (even Nighthawk..) but the ride installation being aborted does give the park a chance to renew itself and install a Gerstlauer, one of those ball coasters, or something else completely unique! If that's the case, I'm all for it! Scott
Bolliger&Mabillard
you can never...and i mean NEVER have enough huss top spins. Nothing like a rotated headache to top off your day at six flags
Token Yankee Guy
I went to the park today (no pictures) and they were really quick in taking down the framework for the building. And I asked one of the high ups at SFNE about it and sure enough they told me that the coaster is being put into storage and will be located to another park, location not known yet. IntaminDude
That stinks....Now i'll have to take a 7 hour car ride to the nearest "Dark Knight" coaster *sigh*
k_peek_2000
Perhaps they will install it into Gotham City at SFMM (I can dream can't I).
KDCOASTERFAN
Perhaps they will install it into Gotham City at SFMM (I can dream can't I). Nahh,I can think of a few good spots for it at SFA though, one being the field in between superman & Batwing to liven up that long path back there...or they can just as easily place it in nantucket/olde boston where Iron eagle & the enterprise were formerly located as that section of the park is in DESPERATE need of something new. I can see that happening mainly because of the fact that it's closer to SFNE.

Electerik
I honestly thought this was a joke, at first. But I think it's great when any park shows love to an older ride.
matteocrepaldi
I'd love to see some artwork of the new trains. I really hope they don't put those OTSR like the rockets.
Medusa1861
I also thought it was a joke. I still don't get it... fire? Why? and sound? I just hope that sound isn't the Superman theme... I'm starting to feel like this is going to be happening around all Six Flags parks. Like Six Flags found out a way to make a "new ride" without having to build anything. thrillerman1
If it ain't broke why try fixing it? Seriously the money could've been spent on much better things IMO. I definitely hope the new trains don't have those OTSR's like the rockets. If so, SFNE can kiss #1 goodbye.
mcjaco
I also thought it was a joke. I still don't get it... fire? Why? and sound? I just hope that sound isn't the Superman theme... I'm starting to feel like this is going to be happening around all Six Flags parks. Like Six Flags found out a way to make a "new ride" without having to build anything. One, the Superman theme is one of the most awesomist pieces of movie music ever. Poo on you! Second, why would Six Flags not do this? It's cheaper than adding a new coaster, and most people will come to ride it. Including all of us "enthusiasts." It makes the most finacially sound sense, which is exactly what hey need to do right now.
Marcio
OMG, I wanna see its new look... Superman is an amazing coaster and it really deserves this "love"! "...fog banks, fire bursts and heart-pumping audio..."
BeemerBoy
I'd like to see the Georgia Cyclone with fire.....or is that "on"?
Swimace
I hope when they redesign the trains they also take away the maximum height limit. I assume that they put the maximum height limit in after the 2004 accident, but I really don't think it's necessary with all of the other safety upgrades they've made to the ride over the years.
