TyRush
Now with Superman back, I really wish for them to paint Mind Eraser a new color. Or just demolish it
DevilsFlight
Does anybody know if there will be new trains/restraints or are the current ones just being repainted?
BoulderDash
Same trains but they said they will be modified. I am guessing they will be getting the same restraints but I hope they get smaller ones like El Toro. Smaller restraints would actually fit and wouldn't just crush your thighs. It looks like the ride was supposed to have smaller restraints but they were changed at the last minute. They should bring them back because they would basically be like T bars but with a U. Password121
Did they just blow off the purple paint or actually repaint it as well? This ride looks way too fresh and shiny for that to not be a full repaint.

Canobie Coaster
I'm glad the park decided to go all out on the repainting. I just can't wait to see what the new trains look like. In all honesty, I just want those oversized headrests gone.
neil009
The red looks SO much better. That purple was just the worst, really made the ride sink into the background.
Rill'o'beily
We need to remember that even though the paint isn't THAT thick automatically, it's still extra thickness if they just repaint over the old paint, and when it comes to coasters... there's defeniately no room for error. I personally loved the purple, but I agree that the red looks fantastic, especially in the snowy weather. Can't wait to get back up there this Spring to check it out! CoasterDirected
I can't wait to ride this this year. My Great Adventure/New England trip is planned and confirmed. This, KK, Wicked Cyclone, and El Toro are easily the ones I am most eager to ride. Now crossing my fingers that I can fly out to LA for Magic Mountain. thrillseeker4552
Wow, I REALLY like the red! I've always enjoyed "Superman" colors on coasters.
jynx242
Seeing these pictures of Superman back in its original color makes me remember what a freaking FANTASTIC ride it is! Looks amazing!

coasterbill
It'll be downright amazing if this ride opens on Opening Day but I have to admit it looks like it's actually a possibility.
DJeXeL
They take about 2 hours to assemble. What's to delay?
BoulderDash
I think they are going to have to open it and Superman pretty close to if not on opening day. With LC opening Phobia on May 7th, they can't wait until Memorial Day weekend. They will probably open it around opening. But since the thing is already assembled and Superman is painted, they have no excuse for not having both running on opening day.
p-sychiatrist
Superman will definitely be open opening day, considering all they did was paint the ride and its a staple attraction that they can't afford to close (that would leave the park with only 2 thrilling coasters that aren't awful). Fireball won't open until mid to late April at the earliest.
FaithPlus1
Fireball is gonna be one hell of a coaster. I wonder hour many thousands of hours they are gonna have to test it before riders get there chance? Will they do a pull through?
Jcoaster
The red paint on Superman is gorgeous.

Fireball won't open until mid to late April at the earliest. I'm curious if they're trying to get this one open for the start of the season because Superman's going to be ready. Staggering the openings is a little weird - I doubt the parks getting multiple flats will have staggered openings, even if one ride is ready before the others. Canobie Coaster
I wonder if anyone would be able to ride it for an hour straight. About 15 years ago, I was able to ride Lake Compounce's Zoomerang 7 or 8 times in a row. Now boomerangs are 1 and done for me, even the smoother ones.
