I like going back to watch Double Dare, and seeing how incredibly cheap the show is.

I mean, what kind of TV game show gives away $25 for getting a question right?

I'm not sure if Figure It Out was mentioned yet, but I was obsessed with that show. I always thought it was stupid when the grand prize was a trip to Florida. Who needs that when you are already in Florida for the taping of the show?

I actually find myself going backwards in time...I miss the old cartoons that are no longer in existance, I skate old school boards/longboards and prefer some of the older moves and the pure thrill of the ride over some of these new death-defying stunts that make you popular, love the old NES games and get more of a challenge actually...I almost don't really care too much about a lot of today's trends, including what a lot of the music is...all about what's in, killing, screaming (throughout the entire song), ripping off other people's songs, or other stuff I wonder why it's even considered to be music...though there's some 90's stuff I won't go back to...(bright colored clothing, etc)...You get the point. If you guys haven't visited it yet, I think that www.retrojunk.com would be the perfect place for those who miss stuff they grew up with starting from the '70s up to the late '90s. Even toys seem different now than they did back then...maybe too safe?

Ok, so I'm done ranting...wish I was back in my childhood again...

There are so many good shows that have been listed that are bringing back some great memories. My list (which is most likely missing something) is...

Dexter's Lab

Power Puff Girls

Dragon Ball Z

Legends of the Hidden Temple

Married with Children

Captain Planet (I still randomly break out in this show's theme song)

Animaniacs

Doug

As Told by Ginger

The Wild Thornberrys

Angry Beavers

Rocko's Modern Life

AH! Real Monsters

Rungrats

Johnny Bravo

Life as a Teenage Robot

Futurama (One of my all time favorite shows. I've seen every episode several times, and could watch each one a hundred times more.)

CatDog

Hey Arnold

All That

Fresh Prince of Bel Air (surprised no one has mentioned this yet)

Are You Afraid of the Dark

The Man Show (such a dumb show, but still funny)

Howard Stern (again, dumb, but funny sometimes. That is until he got so full of himself that all we heard about was his whining and complaining)

Cow and Chicken (Red Guy pwns)

Another thing I miss, although not originally from the 90s, was the older cartoons on cartoon network after 10 PM. I remember falling asleep to the Flinstones, Scooby-Doo, and the Jetsons. Now, Adult Swim has taken this place in the Cartoon Network lineup. Unfortunately, Adult Swim has gone downhill recently in my opinion, so Cartoon Network is basically dead in my eyes.

The thing I miss most from the 90s though has to be Cruisin' USA. I still play that game. I would have to stop and spend money every time I saw that game in the arcade. Nothing like awful graphics, awful gameplay, corny dialogue, and ultra-vibrant 90s colors to make a racing game awesome.

I miss shows like Earthworm Jim, Road Rovers, all the way back when to Tale spin, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers and Duck Tales. I can even go back to shows like James Bond Jr, TMNT, Bruno the Kid and Transformers. I lost interest in Saturday morning TV after shoes like Doug, Pepper Ann, and Recess had run it;s course...I still have 10 seasons of The Simpsons, so I'll be fine.

PoisonedPirate: Man I loved D&D and also Batman: TAS, and Bettie Page

Fixed.

Good lady, excellent taste!

I love Poison Ivy (hence the name) and therefore Bettie Page - Poison Ivy will always be the greatest DC character ever! Although have you seen her in the new The Batman show? She looks like she's 40... not good

Uh oh. Haven't seen the new show yet, but that sounds baaaaaad. Of the DC universe, Joker and Harley Quinn are my faves. You have to love a former phsychiatric doctor who whips out a rocket launcher at carload of smartarse guys who should know a little chivalry.

Guys: "Waddya gonna do? Spank me?

Harley Quinn: "Yeah...and here's the paddle!"

I think that was during the episode where Harely bails on joker and hangs out with Ivy.

Wierdly, I just got into Batman TAS. Never watched it when it was on TV, but have enjoyed the several episodes I've seen. Didn't realize that was Mark Hamil voicing joker. Yes, my Aussie hat is on too tight again. Oh well.

^ I was babysitting for a neighbour and he wanted to watch it and I just sat there complaining lol! The new Joker isn't bad but its all a bit anime-ish (not that I don't anime) and Batman looks about 16.

Harley Quinn is one my favourite characters as well and she makes a great partner in crime for Posion Ivy. I never liked catwoman though - she always was overhyped for me.

Hmmmmm....I see your point. Old Ivy > new Ivy. Wait, is this the same series where joker has really long hair and looks like he should be in a Street Fighter game? If that's so, they're 0 for 2 in my book (heh, like my opinion really matters in the grand scheme of things).

About the only rendition of Catwoman I liked was Michelle Pfiefer in the Tim Burton movies (no offense Julie Newmar). Other than that, agree with you on her. Ok charactor, but like others better. Strangely, I still want to watch Hallie Berry's Catwoman as um..."unique" as it is.

Guess I'm gonna have to watch more Batman TAS and get better educated, eh? Lol! I'm such a dork....
