geekgrrl
and Sifl and Olly!!! Yes! BYOB Kenobi. United States of Whatever. Llama School. Precious Roy. Great stuff! I wish the show never got cancelled. Although, they made some more shows, it seemed to lose the momentum that the first season had. I love love LOVE Sifl and Olly. It was on during my freshman year of college, and my roommate and I would watch and tape it every night. I came across one of the tapes pretty recently, and it had Deuce Loosely (the Panda) and Rock'n'Roll Friends on it. I love the clapping baby doll hands. ernierocker
I thought of another show from the 90's that I miss. "The State" from MTV. The show wasn't around very long but the same cast/producers would eventually make Wet Hot American Summer which is one of my favorite movies of all time. cfc
I think people look at the stuff from their childhood with rose colored glass. I bet people who grew up in the 70's and 80's think the stuff you loved from the 90's was crap. Yep. Then again, I grew up during the 1960s, and the best cartoons were still repackaged Warner Bros. stuff from the 1940s and 50s (until the networks started editing the "violent" content). I did like Scooby-Doo, Space Ghost, and the Filmation superhero and sci-fi cartoons, though.
terrancew_hod
I think I miss out on a lot of the shows from the 90s due to Rollercoaster Tycoon and Diablo taking up so much of my time! I also worked long hours from at work for the first few years of the 90s until my university job cured that. Of the shows I did watch, I think I watched the Spanish novellas that my roommate taped and the HBO Def Comedy Jam when Miss Laura pulled off her wig on stage and the audience was literally running around the room laughing. I got in a few "In Living Color" though. We (my best friend and I) also used to stay up and watch the Jerry Springer for the fights, crazy infomercials and Miss Cleo's "free psychic readings": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3ABE3wvxzA&feature=related Terry
kalvin
ZOMG why has no one mentioned the ORGINAL pokemon that was on ? or the orginal Pokemon games? Those were the best after that they added to many pokemon and changed the main charecters to much
BeemerBoy
^ Ah yes, Def Comedy Jam. I still remember Bernie Mac's appearances. A thread about 90's TV shows, and not one mention of either The Simpsons, or Married: With Children yet?

socalMAN123
The shows I loved:-Full House NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! That show was terrible, Bob Saget said it himself. As far as 90's cartoons go, nothing beats Pinky and the Brain. Nothing... ---Brent
doublex98
GUTS on Nickelodeon was probably my favorite show . I heard they are bringing it back to Nick soon! (too bad it wont be as good as the original)
Kennyweird
I don't want to look up any of these shows. I'm afraid that if I do I'll realize just how retarded they are, and that it will destroy the good memories I have of them.
terrancew_hod
I also remember the reruns of the slimefest: The only Nickelodeon show I watched!

Disney's Aladdin: The Series 4Kids-dubbed Pokemon episodes Dexter's Lab Johnny Bravo Doug (both Disney and Nick versions) Rugrats (the one when they were babies) Ah! Real Monsters! Rocko's Modern Life Angry Beavers Spider-Man (the one on Fox Kids) Bobby's World Dilbert Early "The Simpsons" From the 2000's:Fairly OddParents Invader Zim (don't know why it was cancelled) Life as a Teenage Robot Danny Phantom (probably the best out of all of them) Avatar: The Lost Airbender Samauri Jackfirst season of Ben 10 (not the Alien Force crap) Some episodes of What's New Scooby-Doo Sonic X (it's okay, at least the theme song is catchy) Yu-Gi-Oh (even if it was dubbed by 4Kids) Teen Titans Kim Possible Futurama (I feel like that one teenager from an episode of the Simpsons..."Why did they cancel Futurama?") Family Guy Wow...that was a long list...
Kalepi_Konei
^ They didn't cancel Futurama they simply moved it over to Comedy Central. As for 90's shows, I think the best shows were the ones with Goofy and his son, especially the movies, and there still my favorite movies today. Manny In England
Futurama (I feel like that one teenager from an episode of the Simpsons..."Why did they cancel Futurama?") Kalepi_Konei
^ Oh I missunderstood it, so someone from Simpsons said "why did they cancel Futurama" I thought you thought it was actually canceled. Silly me..
Moose
A thread about 90's TV shows, and not one mention of either The Simpsons, or Married: With Children yet? Or the Wonder Years?! The lack of mentioning these outstanding shows probably since most of the peeps posting in this thread are teenagers and never would have seen them. Those that are old enough to remember them are too old to remember them.
Erik Johnson
Ralph Bakshi's version of Mighty Mouse from the 80's was quite cool, but if we are talking about the 90's, my favorite has to be The Batman animated series.
TheRapidsNerd
I didn't watch much stuff in the 90's. I miss my 80's cartoons on Saturdays. Does anyone remember the old Dungeons & Dragons cartoon? It was usually followed by Pac Man Oh I do....The kids went to an amusement park and got zapped into the D&D world while riding a coaster or dark ride and befriended a small unicorn. Ahh Pacman. Ms. Pacman's name was Pepper, they had a pac dog, and the world architecture was very round. Power Pellets and chomping abounded. Matt, remember Saturday SuperCade circa 80-83? Pacman, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. , Q-Bert, etc all in cartoon form? It was always a toss up: sleep in like I really wanted to (but be bummed about missing the shows), or get up early and watch those shows (but curse them for being on early). LOL! It'd be fun to see those again....then go to Showbiz for Pizza. Good thread. Lots of good memories.
cfc
^^The new Mighty Mouse episode featuring the reuniting of Gandy Goose with his old "pal" Sourpuss, emphasizing the sadomasochistic side of their relationship, was hilarious. Boy, you had to a know a little about the old Terrytoons to understand it, though. And I think a lot of the jokes would've shot right over the heads of the kids watching.
