coasterstud522 0
What are talking about with Head Spin??? There was White Lightnin' at Carowinds that was basically like this.
chemical_echo 0
I doubt Venom since Sony would probably be all over their ass for naming it after a villain from Spiderman 3.
Corkscrew 0
I'm guessing either "Amnesia: The Experience" or "Ambulance: The Ride". In all seriousness, I actually think they'll use the highly original name "Boomerang".
Footballteen58 0
What about "that one"
coasterfreaky 0
BoomerWang?
TheCoasterCritic 0
I'm going with Cobra or King Cobra. I agree and since I do not have this credit I will have to go and check it out. Does anyone technically have a ride credit for this coaster since it will count as a new coaster b/c it won't be Head Spin at Geauga? Are we sleeping on the Asian characters on the teaser 'shipping crate' found in the front of the park? Is it a clue that it will be named after some Asian reptile, since it says, Warning Live Reptiles? Since I can't think of any Asian reptiles other than dragons or Godzilla, which aren't actually real, I think Steel Venom is a good guess since they own the name.
Moose 0
^ I agree about the whole asian reptile name because of the crate at the park. SO my guess, Viper. A la asian pit viper:
larrygator 7
It should be named "Been there, done that"
BeemerBoy 0
It should be named "Been there, done that...unfortunately" Fixed.
PhantomNick 0
"Carowinds Got The Crappy Leftover Coaster" Sounds about right for the "creative" direction CF went with ride names in the park!

kdman76 0
Now that Carowinds doesn't need a "big" attraction to compete with HRP, How about Thisado- The FSS Placetaker Coaster.
sushirocks13 0
Since it's beside Boomerang Bay, how about Down-Under Thunder. ooh, even better...... Steve Irwin: The Ride
revilolee 0
I heard it was going to be called King Cobra or Taipan...
DarkStitch626 0
Chinese letters are on the crate so I dunno. One thing that may make sense though, we keep getting Aussie themed stuff, why not go with the Aussie snake called a Tiapan? Paint the train or track green and supports white. Then upgrade the trains to look snake'ish, adding to this give it "Seatbelts"
sushirocks13 0
There's a new hint to the theme of the ride on Carowinds's homepage. It says..... "Some worship these, others fear them..." and it has a pic of a big crate in the background. See for yourself..... www.carowinds.com/#actions
fergusonat 0
wtf, all this hooplah for a pre-owned boomerang? lame... The worship line almost guarantees a Cobra-theme
revilolee 0
wtf, all this hooplah for a pre-owned boomerang? lame... The worship line almost guarantees a Cobra-theme Hey, at least it's something. You'd understand if Carowinds was the only park near you...

King of Ka 0
Perhaps they'll get a Kellogg's sponsorship and name it "Snap, Crackle, Pop"?
Bolliger&Mabillard 0
Any sponsership Vekoma gets should be along the lines of Aleive or Tylenol
DarkStitch626 0
Can someone please commence with the Samuel L. Jackson quote already.. . Snakes on a coaster. Snakes on a horse on fire with laser beams attached to their heads. Something like that?
sushirocks13 0
As for the coaster itself… one of our spies has sent in what is said to be the new official name for the coaster… “Carolina Cobra”. Ummm… okay… that might take some getting used to. It just doesn’t seem to roll off the tongue. Can’t we just go back to using King Cobra instead? huh? "Carolina Cobra" is a retarted name King Cobra is a way better name than that.... .... oh and there are no 'Cobras' in the Carolinas, DUH!
