P. 835: The Beast re-tracking effort announced!

Recommended Posts

^ I think it's all awesome. When I ride RoS and MF, I can't tell that much of a difference. For me anyway, they both feel like you basically going straight down. It's the length of MF's drop that makes it so exceptional, along with the 80 degrees - I know - lol

It's the airtime hills that are getting me excited. They easily look as good as Nitro, and think they could produce some ejector air (one can hope).

^ and ^^ I agree with the angle thing, I don't really notice a difference that minute until you reach that 90+ degree area (those 5 degrees on Maverick make a big difference IMO).

I'm thinking the drop directly over Deathbat: TR's outdoor queue is pretty cool as well. Sure, it may take away an extra 7-10 ft off the drop, but looking down over people (or where people could hypothetically be) will be pretty sweet (and that small of a drop difference is like a 4* drop difference).

First drop, you can really visualize just how damn big this thing is now

I am digging the whole color scheme of this ride though what is seriously up with most B&M being either red or blue these days? I mean seriously.

Dive coaster- Red & Yellow.

Griffon- Blue and blue

Diamondback- red and yellow.

Sheikra- Red and blue (well most of BGA now lol what 5 rides?)

The next B&M Dive machine that's track is sitting at the plant.

The layout is really shaping up to be stellar also.

^Well Behemoth is Yellow and Orange..

and blue.

But I guess its because its easy.

It works doesn't it?

Yea I know it works and all. My only question is what are all these parks thinking when it comes to colors? I guess one would mostly ponder that about Heide park and the "Green and white" land lol.

Seriously though I can't wait to see this ride testing. I mean seeing a dive machine pull off the splash zone is one thing. Seeing a hyper going 40 or so through that is going to look pretty neat. I'd in future time like to see a banked S-curve through a splash zone to create a zig-zag, slithering motion where the water is scooped by 1 side first to create a visual impact.

^I don't think KI chooses the colors of their rides based on what Chimelong Paradise or Busch Gardens Tamprica choose for their rides...up to 4 years removed between release dates too.

Now if KI was pulling a Cedar Point and coloring all of their own rides the same color (like red...) or naming all their rides with the same starting letter (M...), that could be something a little more strange.

I still love this lift hill. And the sloped final brakes. And those are the two most boring parts of a ride typically...

Don't forget,it's up to the parks to determine the color scheme of the finished ride, not B&M...the factory simply paints the track & structure in the requested colors as ordered by the customer.

Dominator recieved a nice new coat of orange & blue this year to replace the original yellow & blue of the SF era so Behemoth wasn't the only one.Still why did KI select the SAME shade of red used on Firehawk?
