Click the link and G-forcify your the top menu bar; it's a blank page though. Isn't that interesting? I hope this has something to do with the new project!

I don't think it has anything specifically to do with Kings Island. What tipped me off was the page source. You'll see that page calls an inline frame referencing http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=7. That made me dig a little deeper and all of their parks except Knotts and Gilroy Gardens have the same page on their site referencing the respective park id the developer used for each park:

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=1 - California's Great America

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=2 - Canada's Wonderland

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=3 - Carowinds

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=4 - Cedar Point

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=5 - Dorney Park

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=6 - Kings Dominion

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=7 - Kings Island

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=8 - Michigan's Adventure

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=9 - Valleyfair

http://50.56.214.67/gforcify/?park=10 - Worlds of Fun

None of them return anything, btw.

So couldn't find if it had been mentioned before, but Cedar Fair re-upped the trademark on the name Banshee on the 8th of July. I think they just keep that around to mess with people!! I would be all in for The Bat V2, having ridden the original, would be cool. And remember how badass the trains looked on it!!!

I don't know if it was mentioned on here before but on the 27th they said "@KingsIslandPR: One year ago today we announced that Son of Beast was being removed to make way for future park expansion." Then moments later they deleted that tweet and replaced "removed" with "dismantled" I don't know if it was a mistake or not but maybe some track is being used for something else in the park?

yeh. Son of Son of Beast... "The Roughest of Them All"

Interesting.. I'd assume this has something to do with a new Cedar Fair ad campaign. Knotts is probably left out because all the fine work they've done on making it a family friendly park and I probably get more gforces running then I do at Gilroy so that one is obvious.

As for the ad campaign, sounds quite Six Flagish to me.
