olly4coastersUK
Hi all, I'm new to the boards however i have been reading them for years! So, I'm coming all the way from Jolly old england to florida next Easter (cant remember the exact data) for 2 hole weeks, and were hitting up all the best parks, USF, IOA, BGT, SWF, WnW, Aqatica, Bliz beach, TPL and AK! We (the family) Normally go every year, but with the rising price of fish and other things to say the list we cant make it until next year. We have it all booked, and my brother and his girlfriend are coming along as well, now she has never been florida so we have to get as much packed on to weeks as passable. And i would be grateful of you could all give the best attack plan for USF keeping in mind the following....... We want to hit every one of the following: Shrek 4D Twister ROTMTR Disaster (earthquake) Jaws MIB Simpsons ride (R.I.P BTTF) ET T2 3D ROTMTR we would like to hit at least 3 times! Simpsons 2 times and T2 3D 2 times also if passable it would be nice to see the horror make up show! thanks all
HHN Dylan
Its simple, stay on a onsite hotel and you will get a dream fastpass. You can do as many things as you want with it. Now if your planning to do IOA another day then yes, you could easily do all those shows/rides in a day... Yet if you want to have a relaxed day, you should do 1 park a day and you'd be fine. Good luck!!
BarryH
I tend to think of a USF attack plan without using Universal Express or the onsite room keys. If you want to use the paid Universal Express, you can, but be aware you can only use it once per ride. I see you want to ride some things multiple times. If you stay onsite, your room key acts as an unlimited Universal Express pass. If you aren't using Express, I would make a gameplan. Out of your ride list, the following rides have large capacity because they are theater attractions and can "eat" a lot of people: Shrek 4D Twister Disaster T2 3D Thus, you want to hit the rides first. Since the Simpsons ride is so new, many people will want to ride it. The line can get very long, very fast. So here's what I would do: Arrive at the USF parking garage at least 45 minutes beforehand. This gives you time to pay for parking, walk from the parking lot to the front gates, use the restroom, rent a wheelchair, buy sundries, and make love to your honey. Try to be at the front entrance gates 30 minutes before the official park opening. The park can open as early as 30 minutes before the official time if the attractions are ready (this happens more often during busy periods). Check your park map. Disaster and Jaws may not open until 10 am during slow times. T2 may not have its first show until 9:30 or 10. When the gates open, do the attractions in this order: - Simpsons ride (ride it twice at park opening unless you want to stand in a long line!) - ET - MIB (if you want to ride together) - Jaws - Disaster! - ROTM (you can use the single rider line if the wait is too long) - Shrek 4D - Twister (I've never seen a long line for it) - T2 Then wander around and do what else interests you or have lunch. ROTM and MIB have single rider lines, so use these lines if you want to go on the rides again. I find myself riding MIB several times. If you want to do T2 again, try to do it near park closing or near its closing time (as indicated on the park map). T2 is near the front of the park anyway, so you can do it again as you're leaving. Have fun!
sfmmrules!
I bought 2 Universal Express passes for both parks & I was able to use them more than once at most attractions like the JPRA at IOA noone was there marking off or looking at my pass. It was so worth the $100. That was for April since I was there at a peak time - spring break so the price of the Universal Express passes varies. Yours will probabably be less. Look at the Universal Orlando websight for details.
Kalepi_Konei
I would suggest this... Getting there about 30 minutes before the park opens, and do the rides in this order. Simpsons (I suggest riding it twice while your there to avoid long lines later) MIB (if you want to ride together you should do this next) Jaws (can get some really bad lines so do it while your there) Disaster (can get the WORST lines in the park) Mummy (again if you want to ride together do this) Shrek 4-D (can get some really long lines) T2 (they have set show times so just get there 10-20 mins. before it starts) ET (can sometimes have long lines but the line is worth it because your indoors and the line doesnt feel so long) Twister (there is NEVER a line for this thing) Now you can roam around the park As for the Rocky Horror Picture Show, I suggest just going when your done or when you want a break from the heat, just get there 15 minutes before the show starts and your going to go in, best show ever, that is a MUST see when your there. mcjaco
There seems to be an echo in the Ask Alvey Forum. Haven't you noticed?

Look at the Universal Orlando websight for details. Actually, if there's isn't a long line (like 15 minutes or less), the Team Members really don't scan or mark the Express pass. Once the line becomes long, the TMs start scanning the pass. They used to mark the pass, but now they have big hand scanners that actually scan the Express passes. Oh, BTW, I've seen a single rider line on Jaws, but I've never used it. You can do the Horror Makeup Show when you can squeeze it in. Usually, if you're in the waiting area, you'll get into the next show. Just be sure to note the next show time on the sign outside. I would wait in the queue area about 10-15 minutes before showtime. There's some neat stuff to look at in the display area. Besides, you can get out of the heat for a little bit.

BarryH
^My attack plan at Universal is basically "rides first, shows next."
Kalepi_Konei
^ Oh, well I put the rides in a different order on how I do them... So basically rides first shows last...
i am legend--in bed
When we went to Orlando we only went to USF. I don't know how long you're staying but we rented a house with a pool and three bedrooms. We also got USF Two Park One Week Unlimited passes. This helped A LOT because we stayed for a whole week and we could just drive on down to Universal anytime we wanted, and if we didn't want to go to the parks, then there were plenty of other things to do.
