TPDave
Hi Hanno!! Woah, that's almost as bad a Chris' harness at the ropes couse Once again, great pics capturing many moments of joy and torture, can't wait for the next ones
terrancew_hod
I was walking past a guy at the bar cracking open peanuts and I slightly reminded of "that sound". I'm in the back, hunched over, joining in chorus of pain. Terry EDIT: Lou, um, you're joining in too? Is there something we should know?
thecoasterkid
Awesome updates as always Hanno! Like everyone else I absolutely love watching the pain and torture that Divv put himself through that day. Nothing like pictures of a hungover birthday boy trying to ride coasters to brighten up your day! Next trip I'm on with you I'll have to try and steal some more of your photography secrets! The couple tips you gave me from the Mid-West trip have already helped.
Nrthwnd
OMG OMG OMG So so much to choose from. All those expressions on: A) Ghost Chasers? B) The High Fall Tower? C) Bandit? D) All of The Above? or E) Poor, poor Divv. But, he hung in there through everything and ON everything we did that day. (Better than how I ended up that evening, lol.) Great set of photos, Hanno! This was a prime selection of onride reactions, and all in one park, too!
Divv3k
Hanno, the bonus update was awesome! I'm glad that I'll never forget the day I can hardly remember! Even better is the proof that I got all six credits, so thanks for that! Shawn this was the day BEFORE my birthday! My birthday celebrations were fairly low key after this hilarity. Spinning flat thing.. supreme swing fun... unique photo.. OldJJman
Hanno, excellent pics in quality and content, as usual! I'm actually grateful you got a pic of me on that damn rib-bruising thing with Gage. It's been hard to explain without the picture! Anyway, this PTR is really missing one thing - Hanno. Well, I happened to catch Hanno on his first drop tower experience. Enjoy! How do you uncross your legs when you're in this much pain?? Hanno grunting severely, while Lou is Joygasming! (crappy pic) Hanno is still not sure what he's in for. All of the sudden, a wedgie doesn't seem so bad, does it? Lou is having too much fun at Hanno's pain! Hano thinks that hand placement will protect his jewels. Lou feels dirty tricking Hanno into riding.

The sun was shining Car from the parade.. "nothing special" Random people enjoying Winja's.. i enjoyed another ride on this one thanks to the VIP cards.. Was this ride that boring?? another coaster.. Black mamba I don't have many daylight pics from the hotel area.. so this will have to do.. it's anice sight to wake up to.. ain't it?
terrancew_hod
Black Mamba takes it's theming so seriously, they imported black people to run it! I'm chatting it up in back with the ride operator: Operator: "I noticed that your accent is different. You're not from England, right?" Translation of the conversation: "Man, we work here and we ain't seen no black folks in a looong time. Especially speaking like you... where you from brotha?" Yep. I said it. SharkTums
^At least they are being imported to run a roller coaster and not a plantation! You've come a long way Terrance! There, I said it! <>
prabe
I noticed that, as well, and wondered how they felt about it (and how someone like Terry would feel about it). It didn't seem particularly disrespectful to me, but I'm not really in a position to judge that.

terrancew_hod
^At least they are being imported to run a roller coaster and not a plantation! You've come a long way Terrance! There, I said it! <> See that's why I like you... tell it gal! I just had to make mention of it, since some people were already whispering it that day. Terry "I like white people too" Weaver EDIT: Besides you can't help but notice it, since the park was out in the middle of nowhere. But you can tell times has change as you see we've got that mix of people in the picture... notice it's not the "black people bunch up" either... you know what I mean? That is, the only blacks hanging together all the time. That says something. Anyway, I thought it was interesting sight but didn't bother me. I probably would have been bothered if they had white people running around with bones in their noses. Oh, and in blackface. That would have been a bit much. ginzo
More excellent photos Hanno. You captured that exact moment when the pain kicked in on that slide at Schlossbeck. It was a great slide, but it hurt like hell when you came down from the airtime.
eBen
I thought the general level of staff appearance was great. I don think there was a normal uniform out there. Everyone looked the part and it really helps immerse you in the theming and idea of where your supposed to be. There were chinese outfits for the area near the hotel and even a simple white coat for one bloke in the mystery tower went a long way. Hanno - that pic of Talocan with the rainbow is amazing! Hhappy
It's that time again.. what time?? Time for another update. Day 9 started with a visit to Tripsdrill. My first visit to this park was last year during the mini-europe trip... and i loved it.. I stopped at the park on my way back from Austria in February to check the progress on the new woodie named Mammut.. I drove 5 hours for a quick visit in April.. And now there's the mainland europe trip visit. Every time i visit this place i see new things, plenty to do.. and plenty to see and so on.. I can continue talking about this place for a long time.. so let's put on some pictures.. Hope you like them.. i'll leave you with this picture.. time to go and check out the next park... Is it joy or?? surprise.. SoapBox ride time... The park also has some quiet area's where these life.. final drop overview.. a little wet?? ^same... i should say something.. but i just don't know what... here they come... Time for the Jungbrunnen... food offcourse... the place to be for.... Looks like a great idea.. let's go and get something to eat.. one of the many small details at this place.. i can tell a long story with this picture.. but you better check it yourself.. owh.. that's why... Time for something else... but.. ehm.. why are you laughing?? Don't lose your shades How's it going Lou?? more expressions.. a picture says more then a thousand words... Another favorite i have to check out every time i'm there.. the tree house.. as you might have noticed.. i did like the ride and i will visit the place again to see how the area turns out in the end.. More random hairtime.. More hair and a happy Big Mike.. tpr members are enjoying the ride.. ... flying.... Can't wait to see what the future will bring for the "path" on the right side of the train.. under the track.. Hi Terry, how are you doing?? I do like the looks of these trains.. owh yeah.. ther's more in this park.. let's check out this ride.. That's more like it owh my.. why did we check this out??? more hairtime hands up... Hairtime Big Mike was hard to miss this day.. but i forgot where it was.. so this will have to do Last year i found a perfect spot for some airtime pictures... Thumbs up... looks like the ride is ok.. More familiar faces.. come on.. you are allowed to smile.. More photo's from this angle (despite the sun in people's faces) see?? Big Mike is loving it.. coming up the lifthill.. How's it going steve?? we made it back to the station... what should i say.. go for it and enjoy the experience.. crossing the "track" for the waterride.. Mammut looks nice from up here.. and yes.. they did let Robb operate the coaster (by the way.. those clocks are nice) Eevrybody is checking their maps.. to figure out how to get to the ERT.. we are there
