StealthFan
Port Royal was perfect. Even though the Showers were confusing to use and if you turned the wrong thing it burnt you with super hot water. Took me a good 5 mins to figure it all out and get it to how I like it.
ginzo
OUCH! How about those showers at Efteling, with the signs instructing guests to shower IN the tub, rather than on the bathroom floor? Â I thought that was the Novotel in Amsterdam, which was a really nice non-themed hotel.
Ryancrash
Really though, I absolutely loved the showers at Port Royal. I wish I had a pirate shower in my bathroom!

Shockwave
Robb, Elissa, Hanno and all those who've contributed to the awesome trip report, you've done a great job! Â I keep seeing all these amazing pictures and amazing rides in Germany, and yet I'm a 90 minute flight away and the only park I've been to in Germnay is Tolk Schau! Â I think I'm gonna have to change that next year!
terrancew_hod
Dave - that must be a contender for the Too Much Information Award  I wasn't a fan of the toilet for other reasons. Thank god for the brush!  (see you got another entry for the TMI award)  I also took video of that other "shower head" in the shower. I may have to post that on my own site because my colorful commentary. I keep forgetting that I have a really filthy mouth and most times I keep it under wraps! Alan spit out his drink when I made my "Toll" comment! Whoops!  Terry
PhantomNick
Many thanks to Robb, Elissa, and all the others who have contributed the massive amounts of photos for these photo trip reports chronicling your amazing trip to Europe! These updates are a great read and very funny, along with giving a great look at these parks that a guy like myself has never seen or been to. I feel like one of these trips is essential to do at least once, and that's certainly my plan! It looks like massive amounts of fun from start to finish! AndyGiles
There are no photos of my favourite ride in Heide Park, the absolutely awesome bobsleigh, which seems to go on forever. Â Plus, there's a really cool 'hidden' log flume which I stumbled upon the second time I visited the park. If I recall, the drop is really long and the boats have strange owl faces. SharkTums
^I think pretty much everyone did both of those! Some people didn't want to get wet on that log flume (which I agree with you is quite good!) Â Keep in mind these are only the 'mini-updates'. When we do the big full ones on the main site, there will be much more coverage of everything! robbalvey
Day 7, Part 1 - Movie Park Germany We had an awesome visit to Movie Park Germany! The ERT kick serious amounts of ass! Lunch was awesome! Jeff got to relive childhood memories, and overall it was a really nice day! This could be the funniest picture ever posted to TPR...EVER!!! "For lunch I will take an entire tray of Mozzarella Caprese." The fanboys can all stop reading this update now. Yes, that IS a hot dog vending machine. "This was my first pet. His name was GARRRUUURRRGGGHHHH because we didn't have words back then." "It's just like being back at home!" Awww, how nice...It's a tour of Jeff Johnson's childhood! Another giant plastic shark...VIOLATED!!! Crush...crumble...and CHOMP!!!! "Are you my mother?" Yup! Oh, Fran, that's going to leave a mark! Use for that TPR backpack #27 - SHEILD!!! Little known fact - Don't get the Panthers wet...err....with water at least. "Dudes with brains for heads...why did it have to be dudes with brains for heads?" Evil...EVIL Ride!!!! Middle of the train - Extreme G-Forces or giving birth? You decide! Everyone looks...um.... "challenged?" Bandit "Coaster Porn" Welcome to Bandit! I hope you're still this happy in about 2 minutes! "Elissa! Do not eat Divv! He's sick...or hung over...or over hung...or SOMETHING!!!" The exact point of "Crotch Impact." "OMFG!!!" Stalker shot!!! You guys look happy now but this ride is NOT friendly to men's "bits" Now that ERT was over (thank you Movie Park for so much ERT!) it was time for a TPR take over of the stand up drop tower! (If you all know Acrophobia...this is the same!) "Oh, man...maybe I should have stopped drinking last night!" Screw the SLC ERT!!! We want ERT on the "Fanta Bottle Mechanical Bull!" This SLC had mixed reactions...Craig doesn't seem to mind but Joe is in the "Vekoma Brace Position!" Good thing I already have my credit! Silly photo of Chris! This update instantly got better! This ride was awesome! It's probably the most fun you can have on something called a "coaster" that not one at all! Disk-O Coaster! Geez...Divv's not looking so good...I wonder what could have happened? Next we headed over to the "Santa Monica" part of the park for some flat ride ERT! Wild Mouse gets some Big Mike tongue! PRICELESS!!! We moved up from ERT on the kiddie coasters to ERT on the Wild Mouse! NOTED! NERD!!! "Hey German Tom! I finally got the credit!" Next up for ERT...more kiddie coasters!!! "Hey Lou, how's your ass?" "Pleasantly squished, thank you very much!" Next up for ERT was the "Air Glider." Larry apparently loves those new Vekoma restraints on the kiddie SLC! That's right ladies and baboons! We got KIDDIE COASTER ERT! And it freakin' kicked ASS!!! This morning would become the most AWESOME "credit whoring ERT" ever!!! The trip itinerary told us to go to Movie Park Germany...and that's exactly what we did! Ooh..and just in case you were wondering, Divv pulled through ok! Nrthwnd
Would have loved to "try" one of those vending machine hot dogs. Â But - no bun with hot dog in the bag??? Â
King_K.
Ha, great TR photos. Those crotch shots look so amazingly painful.
eBen
This is exactly why they should keep coasters that are a bit worse for wear. This photo which deserves a rerun has many priceless faces on it. My eyes started to leak with enjoyment while looking back on that moment  Laughter was abundant as a result of this ride.    Cool group photo too. Nrthwnd
^ Hmmm. Â Hard to choose which is 'best'... Â Terry mouthing OMG with Ron hands up and gleefull? (front left corner) Â Chris and Piers about to "eat guard rail"? (middle) Â Or - the classic - Lou and Steve in Happy & OMFG Pain? (behind C&P) Â Â Honorable mention to Mark, who's about to "eat guard rail" too, lol. (upper right)
Divv3k
This is my favourite update yet! Â A word of advice to anyone on future TPR trips with Steve. If he buys you a Zombie at three o'clock in the morning do NOT drink it!
Ryancrash
Wow, Bandit was SO painful, even riding in the front seat - a coaster in need of some serious track work (thank god we didn't have to wait in line for it!) MP-Xpress was also painful. The High Fall was painful and almost necessitated a change of underwear. Â And yet, for some reason, I REALLY enjoyed this park!! I'm not sure just why I had so much fun here, but I did. Even before that amazing meal they served us. Movie Park Germany rocked! Â On a side note, how cool was the human body dryer at the exit of Bermuda Triangle Alien Encounter?
Dirk_Ermen
Awesome TR Rob. IMO you could have also visited the neighbor park: Schloß Beck. It only has one zierer coaster for the true credits whores. For the rest the park exists out of some awesome self operating rides and some cool other playground stuff. Maybe next years Europe Trip?
eBen
This was a surprisingly good day for myself and I think a lot of other people too. I originally saw it as a filler day before we got there so everything that happened that was good wasn't smothered in expectations. Also there were many highlights.  A splash boats ride with crazy themeing and decent drops  A hung over birthday boy who was able to endure a wild mouse & SLC coaster but pass on the mild rides. (the mindset of a credit whore is a funny thing) Hats off to you Divv.  The drop tower that made a lot of people nervous riding it. Genuine fear!  The kick ass Vekoma restraints on the inverded family coaster.  And then theres the TPR bonus stuff. The meal was fantastic and I think rated as the best park food by many participants; People waiting at the gates for our arrival; ERT on this one, that one, the one over there and more.  Good stuff
SteveC
A word of advice to anyone on future TPR trips with Steve. If he buys you a Zombie at three o'clock in the morning do NOT drink it! Â On reflection it is fair to say MY BAD though at least Miles got me back on your behalf well and truly. Â It was a bonus park in every sense, food-tastic without a doubt, and tons of 'stuff' to do. Divv, you missed out on a few good flats, although you got to try every bench in the park so KUDOS. Â Fantastic pics bring back clearly the total fun of this great park. Â Bandit sucks...got a box of matches anyone?
Moose
Ron hands up and gleefull? (front left corner) Â He does seem to be the only one actually enjoying the ride. Â Â I am sure the audio of Robb's Onride will be a classic. Ow ow ow ow ow Wheeee! ow ow ow ow ow. Seriously I think there was one Wheee! moment on the entire ride and we all said whee at the same time. Â Also some more positives about this park... double cycle topspin. Awesomely themed rapids, even if the theming was sort of wtf. Â Poor overly hung (???) Divv.
Louise
This park was a lot of fun. I liked the park itself, though thought it needed another couple of big attractions and a bit of TLC, but the park experience was one of my favourites of the trip. Â 1. Steve and I on Bandit. No more needs to be said. Â 2. Amazing lunch. Â 3. Crazy ERT in the morning leaving us with almost no major attractions left to do during the day! Major kudos to the park people and to Robb and Elissa! Â 4. Divv dying. Â 5. Erik being surprisingly zen... Â 6. Steve and I laughing at Divv. Repeatedly. And everybody else, to be fair! Â 7. One of my favourite drop towers EVER!! Robb had said that this one still scares the crap out of him for some reason and I totally agree. I adored it, even though it did cause me some pain... Not as much as the blokes though, probably. Hanno deciding to ride this with me as his first drop tower experience shall go down in history as one of my favourite trip memories, I was so thrilled! Â 8. Kiddie SLC actually being fun! And the mouse too! Also, Ice Age was a really nice fun little dark ride, and I loved the "Disko Coaster" experience. Â Really great day. Â On the group photo, it kinda looks like Melanie's leg is my arm....!!
cfc
Team Larry actually missed the "ERT" session on Bandit, thanks to the suprisingly lengthy Time Riders simulator, but we got the credit later--that was a big mistake. And if that drop tower was a Russian ballet, it'd be the Nutcracker. Â But, overall, I liked Movie World quite a bit and really enjoyed our time there. But it could use a few more big attractions.
