cal1br3tto
"Resolution" - Great White  Was not expecting to like this album ("Elation") at all. I was wrong; great vintage-sounding bluesy hard rock.

cal1br3tto
^Hmm, I always figured they were still one of the most popular. Edited September 21, 2014 by cal1br3tto
imawesome1124
^They were popular, but I don't think they were popular enough. I think the fact that they get lumped in with "glam" holds them back, because they really weren't glam. They were just straight hard rock with a bluesy vibe. Still of the Night is still one of my all time favorite songs, and I like songs from quite a wide variety of rock and metal. But in the 80's? Yeah. . they were glam.
cal1br3tto
I love some of their glam-era hard rock songs, and some of the Led Zeppelin "ripoffs," but their ballads get old fast. Especially "Here I Go Again," since that is obnoxiously overplayed. I need to check out their earlier more bluesy stuff.

and they sound JUST like em.  it's some good stuff.
