larrygator
Hey everyone - Looks like the majority of the new 2012 rides have opened and I've obtained a lot of photos from you all, but there are still a couple of new rides for which we need User Generated Submissions (your photos), not photos taken from other sites.  Please resize your photos to 800x600 or smaller before submitting, otherwise they can not be used in the Park Index. You can post your photos in this thread, or through the submission tool in the Park Index. Or if you have any of those photos in a PTR just send me a PM and let me know.  For this first listing of rides we need any pictures you have of the ride (and signs if the ride is new):  USA/Canada Camden Park - Rattler (Frisbee or Claw) Cedar Point - Dinosaurs Alive DelGrosso's - Swing Buggy Elitch Gardens - Rockin Tug Galveston Pleasure Pier - Texas Star Flyer Legoland California - Pirate's Reef Quassy - Zamperla tea cups Seabreeze - New Zamperla Tea Cups (replaced 50+ year old Crazy Cups)  UK Alton Towers - Sub Terra Botton’s Pleasure Beach – Cup and Saucer, Gallopers, Rockin Tug Brean Leisure Park - Astro Storm (formerly Space Invader at Blackpool Pleasure Beach) Camelot – Cup and Sorcerer Codona's - Vertigo (Ropes Course) Flamingoland – Dodgems, StarFlyer Gulliver’s Warrington – Barrel Ride, Joker, Sky Tours Observation Tower, Tree Tops Swing Pleasure Island – GoGator, Falls of Fear, Galleon  Germany Wunderland Kalkar - Kernie's Boot (Rockin Tug), Tea Cups Legoland Deutschland - Gerstlauer Sky Fly Phantasialand - Hotel Tartuff  Denmark Farup Sommerland – Pindsvinet (Zamperla Family Coaster), Tekopperne (Tea Cups), Raeven Hule (walk-thru) Sommerland Syd - Himilaya (Galaxi) Tivoli Friheden – Forhindringsbane (Obstacle Course)  France Mer de Sable – Wild Mouse "La Mine Bleue" (formerly at Compagnie des Alpes), Riviere Sauvage, Train du Desert, Jungle des Chikapas (Indoor Tow Boat), Babagattaux (Outdoor Tow Boat) Nigloland - Gerstlauer Sky Fly  Italy Etnaland - Dragon River Minitalia Leolandia - Zamperla Splash Battle, Zamperla Coaster  Netherlands/Belgium Bobbejaanland - Spongebob's Splash Bash (Mack Splash Battle) Efteling - Aquanura Toverland - Mack spinning coaster  Sweden/Norway Grona Lund – Kuling (Rockin Tug), rethemed Bla Taget Skara Sommerland - 3 new rides: Spinning Coaster, Rodeo and Jr. Drop Tower Tusenfryd - Western-expressen  Spain Parque d'Attractiones Madrid - Los Rapidos, Tren de la Mina  China Chengdu – Family Coaster, Jungle Mouse, Loop Screw (*) Hong Kong Disneyland - Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars Ocean Park - Arctic Blast  Japan Pleasure Garden – Mad Mouse, Through the Woods Jet Coaster Space City – Space Switchback Suntopia – Loop the Loop Tokyo DisneySea - Toy Story Mania  Korea Everland - new coaster?  Australia  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  For the following rides we only need pictures of the ride sign:  USA/Canada Bowcraft – Crossbow Lagoon - Bombora Magic Springs - Old No 2 Logging Company Marineland - Topple Tower, Skyhawk PNE Playland - Atmosfear (Star Flyer)  UK Flamingoland – Navigator, Sky Flyer Pleasure Island (UK) - GoGator  Other Europe Duinrell - Dragon Fly Farup Sommerland - Wave Swinger Freizeitpark Plohn - Plohseidon Liseberg - Liseberghjulet (Giant Wheel) Mirabilandia - Divertical Parque d'Attractiones Madrid - Noriavision (Giant Wheel), Ford T Power Park – Pegasus (Evolution) Sommerland Syd - Kaemperutshebanen, Tornado, King Kong Karrusel (Calypso), Svingeren (Wave Swinger) Tivoli Friheden – Forhindringsbane (Obstacle Course) Walibi Rhone Alps - Boomerang, Coccinelle WalyGator - Waly Coaster  Other Asia/Australia Adventure World (AUS) - Dragon Express Chengdu – Family Coaster, Jungle Mouse, Loop Screw Pleasure Garden – Mad Mouse, Through the Woods Jet Coaster Space City – Space Switchback Zhongsang Park –Inertial Coaster  Remember photos must be .jpg should not exceed 800x600 (Unfortunately, in the past many people have submitted photos that were far too large for TPR to use or in pdf form.)  If you have photos of a non-kiddie ride that is not in TPR's Park Index, please submit that also. The list of what we need is not complete, only based on rides that appear on my personal park maps.  High quality photos, please (not blurry, distorted or out of focus).  We are also not adding FECs (Family Entertainment Centers) to the Park Index. Our current rule of thumb is to include places that have 6 or more adult rides. Also, we are Theme Park Review not Water Park Review so we are not adding Water Parks either.  Of course any PTRs containing superior photos or entertaining captions and a variety of pictures including multiple rides and areas (Not just one or two rides/attractions) are always valued. Attention has been given to every previously submitted Photo TR. Don't feel discouraged if we can't include every one.  Photo in your PTRs must be downloaded onto the Theme Park Review server (not Imageshack, photobucket) for it to be included in the Park Index, that way we know a Red X will never appear.  Lastly, if you have to ability to scan your park maps, feel free to submit those for the years that all not already in the Park Index. printersdevil78
Larry,  I’m not sure if this photo of Zero-G at Beech Bend is good enough for the index, but it’s the only one I could find in my pictures from my recent visit there. Also thought you might be able to use this photo of the new Pirate’s Flight sign from SFA.  In addition, some ride closing/re-opening updates I noticed while going through the index just now: Avalanche at SFA is no more (it wasn’t there last year, if I remember correctly). The Haunted House at Beech Bend, however, has re-opened, and it looks pretty good inside.
larrygator
thanks Jason, Â They must have added the Pirates Flight sign in the past month. Â The Zero-G will work for the time being as a placeholder. Â The Haunted House ride itself at Beech Bend is completely new, so I'll add it as a new need. The old track and spinning Pretzel cars are now at Wild Bill's Nostalgia Center. I'm not sure if they are using the old building nor if they updated how it looks from the outside. printersdevil78
I took the Pirate’s Flight sign photo on opening weekend. Maybe it’s gone already? Unfortunately, I probably won’t be back to check until Fright Fest.  As for Beech Bend, I didn’t take any interior photos of the Haunted House (I generally don’t take any on-ride photos unless it’s specifically spelled out that it’s allowed), but here are some views of the outside from last month. The exterior doesn’t really seem to have changed much, based on photos I’ve seen.
simon8899
You can take my pictures of the new Wild Mouse and Kang-A-Bounce at Bakken from my trip-review if you like them. Next to that you still have listed an Enterprise in Bakken which was nowhere to be found - judging by the pictures it was replaced by the Kang-A-Bounce. nhman93
Hate to be the person who points out the small pointless things but I figured id mention that the Trabant at Great Escape closed before 2011 season and was converted to a seating area. Also the tea cups at Seabreeze opened for the 2011 season not 2012, their new addition this year was the Hydro Racer mat slide, Wish I had read this thread before I went to Seabreeze last week I would have taken a few pics for ya Larry

molemaster43
Also, DelGrosso's did get a new ride called, "Swing Buggy." I believe it is a Bertazzon Matterhorn. And that replaced the Flying Bobs.
bottom_feeder_13
I think that Playland PNE's kiddie coaster, Kettle Creek Mine, is still operating since I just whored it this morning.
VinTheAttendant
A couple months ago, my family and I were renovating the house, and I found this 1999 Hersheypark map tucked away in a photo album. I thought I'd share it for the park index (I had to slightly Photoshop two pieces together since the whole map would not fit on the scanner) Hersheypark map 1999
larrygator
^thanks. Â I'll be away for the next two weeks, but don't let that stop people from posting pictures and maps we need.
nhman93
Your also missing the Ballon Ferris Wheel from Great Escape. It's the parks smaller ferris wheel but it is not a kiddie ride and its mixed in with the rest of the adult rides at the park. Just a warning their is no real sign for the ride at the park and last year they actually took it off the map and it was still running, but this year it was put back on the map.
