packfanlv Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I am in Macau right now and heading over to Hong Kong tomorrow. From there I will pass overland to China. I will most likely be visiting Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing. I know you guys have probably done a lot of research for the upcoming trip, so in your opinion, what are the must see parks in these areas? I know of Chimelong Paradise in Guangzhou with the Dive Machine and 10 inversion coaster and Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park, but what other parks do you think I should definitely hit? Any help would be appreciated. Shawn BTW any signs or reference to the coaster at Fisherman's Wharf here in Macau are gone!
larrygator Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=35010 Shawn - this thread might be helpful to you in case R&E don't have time to respond. They are pretty crazed right now after traveling for a couple of days and preparing to lead the TPR Europe Trip which they leave for in under a week. You might even try to PM the author of the linked thread, Andy Korb is very knowledgable.
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Happy Valley Bejing's coasters don't look great, but the park itslef looks very well themed.
Airtime&Gravity Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Chimelong Paradise, in Guangzhou, is a large park and zoo that just opened up a new dive machine this year. The rest of the coasters are clones, but it still looks like a good park.
