no_brain_er
A heaven and hell themed coaster?! Will it be like a dive machine down to Hell? I don't know how a coaster themed to Heaven and Hell will sit with many Christians. For instance, plenty of Christians don't even like the idea of me using a NIV Bible instead of a NKJV. This should be interesting as it develops. I am a dedicated Christian and I love the idea! It sounds really cool. (And I use NIV. )
FlyingScooter
I think it could be fun. Imagine the games: Whack-A-Infidel! Dunk the Judas! It couldn't do any worse than that one park that was open about 1 month.
Philrad71
'Heaven and Hell - The Ride' featuring Ronnie James Dio and Iron Maiden versus Stryper and Amy Grant during the grand opening event!!! Way better than Evil Knievel jumping garbage trucks at Kings Island! This could be fun!!!
Rct3man777
But of course they won't even allow iron maiden...
Steffen_Dk
I think its a good idea, and I'm glad people are trying to find ways to bring others towards Christ... But it won't work. Especially not in Europe! Do anyone have an idea about where in Germany this park is supposed to be build?
dandaman
Someone should advise the park developers to have a look-see at our Holy Land Photoshop contest from a couple years back.

DenDen
Will I get free wafers, wine, and sunscreen? The religious theme parks in the US were in bad taste, and this one is no different. PASS!
mrfatwrecker
Found this...I'm not sure if it's for the same park, but how many Christian parks could there be? http://www.holytaco.com/2008/06/23/heres-a-theme-park-for-the-whole-family/ "Have you ever thought “Man, roller coasters just aren’t doing it for me. I wish there was a place I could watch an actor perform as a bloodied Jesus carrying a crucifix?” I know I have! Well, now there’s a place where you can. Someone sent me this today. It’s a picture from a theme park called Holy Land. The website for Bill Maher’s new movie “Religulous” features some stuff about it. Here’s the highlights: If you want to avoid the crass commercialism of Disneyworld but still want a wholesome family vacation in Florida, why not head to Holy Land, a theme park experience dedicated to discovery of the Bible. This Easter the Holy Land Experience invites you to take the path of the Savior with Follow Me: The Road to Resurrection. Each presentation has been designed to draw you closer to the steps of Christ, following his ministry, his trial, death and victorious resurrection. That sounds really really awesome, except what if I get hungry while I’m watching Christ die a horrible death, Holy Land? There’s a full menu of dining options and several shopping locations for you to search for treasures and other gift items. If one of those places is a TGI Fridays then I’m just going to go ahead and purchase my plane ticket to Orlando right now. Maybe I’ll bring my cousin for his Bar Mitzvah." dandaman
Holy Land's already there, in Orlando; has been for a few years now. There's apparently also a new (and different) one opening in Germany.
