coasterchi Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Hey ya'll, as you may have seen in this topic , i currently working on a 3d model of the Raven rollercoaster in Holiday World. I'm now finishing of the coaches, but after that, i wan't to build the whole station around it. So i'm wondering if you guys could help me out. During my visit last year i've made some photo's, but not that mutch. So hopefully you're willing to post some photo's of the station, from the in and outside if that's possible! Thanks for helping!
Groteslurf Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 You can find a few in our TR (first page). Unfortunately, all from the same angle.
coasterchi Posted June 3, 2008 Author Posted June 3, 2008 Thanks for the first pics! I could find some "inside" photo's from the station, that helps me allot!
Goose Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Howdy, I'll be at HW sometime this weekend (Weather pending). I can get as many pictures as you need. Steve-
Homer Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Here are some shots I took from the Midwest trip. And the gum roof! For finer detail, don't forget the enthusiast graffiti! (For those who can't see, it says "I'm Craven The Raven") I think this is the block section, if I recall.
WillMontu Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Here's a few. Also, Raven has black lap bars, rather than orange Better shot of the ACEr graffiti The control panel Authentic?
spaceace12 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I will look through all of my photos when I get home.
Guest Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I'm not too sure how much this will help but it's the only Raven station picture I have. I wanted to feel like I contributed somehow
DBru Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 While we are talking about the Raven's station... Does anyone know what the top part of the building is used for? Maybe storage...or is it empty?
Guest Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 It's where they teach kids to properly ride a coaster, and they get their knuckles bruised by a ruler when they lift their feet
coasterchi Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 Thanks for all the pictures so far, hopefully there will be posted some more
Erik Johnson Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 They added a 2nd train a few years ago. The other building is used to house the other train.
DBru Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 ^Yes, I knew that. I mean, what is the top part of the original station-building used for? Sorry for the confusion.
spaceace12 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 my guess, nothing. I don't know if anything is up there, or a way up there.
