A.J.
^^^ Doesn't everybody on this site? Y'know, for as much useless roller coaster trivia that's floating throughout my brain, no, I do not have the RCDB bookmarked.
linearinduction
Yea you can kiss Joker's Jinx goodbye until July at the very least.I don't think there are any other Premier Rides Projects being Fabricated at Intermountain Lift, so it shouldn't take too long for them to Fabricate a New Column, as long as they aren't booked with other work. I305forever
^^ Really? Huh. I thought that (like me) everyone got all their random coaster facts and statistics from RCDB.
Highridin
The support beam is fixed on JJ, and the path from Mardi Gras to Gotham is almost done. I'll try to get some pics posted soon.

linearinduction
^They already fixed it? Weird It's more than likely the problem with the Column was discovered and removed some time ago, only making it appear it was "quickly" fabricated.
Highridin
Ok, here goes the pics of the support and path. Beam Support Path

ajfelice
I hope they paint it before it reopens. Â Having a ride open for guests to enjoy > One non-painted support. Â I'm just encouraged to see that work is progressing along after an obviously unexpected issue. From what I have seen happen to various ride parts over the past couple years is that water accumulates in these (mostly) enclosed areas and freezes. Water expands as it freezes into ice which will blow out/disfigure/crack metal, or sometimes just severely rust through. It's pretty hard to catch a lot of this until the consequences happen, especially on a support column like this. SFA doesn't have the worst winters on record, but they see their fair share of snow and cold for a scenario like this to unfold. Â Before the Six Flags ineptitude comments come out, I would like to point out that his is not a once in a blue moon occurrence in the non-Six Flags park I work for. Unfortunately for SFA, this happened on a large support that is not re-fabricated or easily replaced in the blink of an eye like most ride parts are. Highridin
We'll see. They removed the 'temporarily closed' from the online description. Must be open now.
GwaziBSRider1
I'm glad to see the support is fixed already. The new path is looking good, too!
coasterbill
I don't expect them to paint it and if they don't it's really not a big deal. I doubt anyone will notice it. Personally I'm just glad they fixed it so quickly.
Highridin
Me too. That support is in a spot where no one would really notice it, unless they are looking...lol...like us.
FlyGuy
Im not sure if anyone's noticed but they've also started taking down skull mountain. I actually like having the skull mountain remnants, It will be awkward seeing Wild One naked & being able to see Gotham behind apocalypse. None the less as an employee of SFA I love the slow but sure type of progress the park is making.
Highridin
Wonder why they are doing that?
Password121
Hey, if they have the extra budget, I'm all for it. A Larson super loop may not be the most exciting ride, but they do seem to be doing some nice park improvements to go along with it. They could have easily just plopped down the ride in front of Wild One, but instead they eliminated the dead end into Mardi Gras. On top of this--landscaping between Superman/Batwing, new restaurant, fixed Joker's Jinx support fairly quickly, and now removing the last bits of an eyesore. Not a bad "off" year at all, IMO, and I always welcome more rides to keep people entertained and potentially staying in the park longer, which is exactly what the new ride will do. Highridin
^^ I agree. Also, let's not forget. They brought back EFX, and, are now selling ribs in the saloon!! ..lol..looking forward to stopping by on Saturday if it doesn't rain. I'll post more pics if anything has changed. Highridin
Went today for a few. Fun as always. Here are some pics of the progress to the path and JJ's support beam. Â The path it's coming together nicely. They have a fence and a rooftop type structure going under The Wild One. Â Half of the support beam is repainted. The other half is primed. Painter must have taken a half day that day. Path Beam
ferk60
Well they replaced the beam rather quickly which was a smart move. JJ is one of the few reasons to go to SFA. They really need a new ride. I'd love to see a Roar RMC'ed

linearinduction
Why do I have the sinking feeling Six Flags isn't going to paint that beamI think most people would rather have an unpainted Column and the Ride Opened, but maybe they'll just leave it primed to piss off coaster enthusiasts. Highridin
Lol..probably ruin the entire ride for *us*. We'll notice it at every turn with a view of the beam.
