ZeroG001
SFMM last month, the Viper and Scream ops were going crazy fast! Disneyland, everytime I go, the Space Mountain ops are awesome! Knott's, because I like the way their ops tell jokes and interact with the guests waiting in line.
signal
I definitely agree with the comment about how great the Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster was. The dispatch time was great. Also at Movie World Australia - Even though Superman: Escape was a walk on at most times in the day, the ride ops were still sending trains out super quickly. - At the entrance for Superman, the park employees were really great, joking around and making us do "The Rain Dance" before we could enter -It was raining part of the day, and each time it did, Superman would close. As soon as the rain stopped, they would start the ride again, almost immediately Cedar Point -I found that the park was really clean, and yes, I noticed the amount of garbage cans (sadly, no recycling) -Today, they had TTD up and running right at 10:00 - All of the ride crews were really friendly - During morning ERT, the MF crew was really prompt with getting the... test dummies? off the cars and getting the line moving - I think almost every coaster was running all of their trains
CHILLERLC1
I was really impressed with SFOT operations during my first visit in 2006. I also liked all the waving hands and smiles of the employees at Everland in 2007.
packfanlv
Canyon Blaster at Adventuredome. They Dispatch one train every 30 seconds! Really? I haven't seen them run more than one train on Canyon Blaster in many many years! With that said, they are pretty efficient when the train is in the station. As for operations I to agree that Disney takes the cake. Sometimes it can be rare to see employees who actually do their job 100% of the time instead of talking and messing around. I think a great example at Disneyland is Indy. Those Jeeps continually are pushed out. Space Mountain is also a great example. I get a little nervous when getting off Space Mountain that I will be too slow and someone will yell at me. It seems the people are getting in before you can get out. Oh how I love Disney! alpengeist04
I would have to say WDW has the best operations on a daily basis. Busch and Universal are usually solid, but can be hit or miss at times.
DBru
I almost forgot about BGA! Though there were several breakdowns the day I was there, the employees always kept the crowds enthused and were otherwise very quick with dispatching trains!
socalMAN123
Knott's...wait a second. Best operations would have to go to Disneyland for me. They are always, ALWAYS hustling to get the train dispatched. It is pretty great to see that people care about their jobs as much as they do. ---Brent
GuruGuys
Knott's...wait a second. Knott's for me has had the best park operations of the parks I have visited in the past year (there are not many, SFOT, SFFT, Seaworld Texas, SFMM & Knotts). The customer service and very friendly ride ops were leaps and bounds beyond any of the other parks when I visited. I see people joke about Knotts' all the time, and this lead me to a pretty low expectation when I did visit the park, I'm glad I experienced just the opposite. I was told a story about how they botched Coaster Con awhile back, perhaps this is where they get the bad rap? -GG
YoshiFan
Dorney: Always 2 trains on Talon and Hydra except for weather reasons, even on days when I was the only rider on the train they still ran 2 trains. Same for Steel Force though I have seen it run 1 train maybe 2 or 3 times in 40 trips. There are always 4 restraint checkers on Talon and Hydra and usually Steel Force as well and when Steel Force only has 2 restraint checkers they are so fast it doesn't matter. I rarely see much stacking at Dorney. Great Adventure: They always run multiple trains on Batman, Nitro and Medusa. I have seen them using 3 trains on Nitro, Medusa and GASM a lot this season even when it doesn't seem neccessary. They allow re-rides which saves a lot of time when you consider how long it takes to walk through some of the empty queue's especially Superman and Nitro. gotdane
^^I was waiting for that to pop up in this thread! Of course I'm biased but Disney runs their coasters unlike anything I've ever seen. I can sit and watch Screamin' operate for hours...And Mulholland Madness' ops is pretty impressive for a wild mouse. And Gadgets Go Coaster shocked the hell out of me this last Sunday...Dispatches every 20 seconds. You can't really get any faster than that on that coaster! MisterP
Space Mountain at Disneyland gets my vote. Every time I've ridden it, the crew has always been hustling. Not once have I noticed a cast member that wasn't doing their best to keep things moving, and moving fast. That same thing can be said about pretty much any ride at Disneyland, but on Space Mountain it's just more noticeable. At least to me. Amen!!! i think that my experience two months ago was the best I've ever seen from a coaster crew....top notch ..... at the time I think I said that they "were kicking #ss and taking names" best Ive ever seen my FAR.... jten11
Based on my experiences, I would have to say Montu and Shreika at BGA. The time I was there , Montu had 3 trains coming and going....barely any downtime and the line was moving quick. Same with Sherika. They move those trains like clockwork! There was a line, but that line moved so damn quick 5 mins later I'm already in a seat. I'm also impressed of Hulk at IOA. They seemed professional in loading/unloading and you saw a train launch every couple minutes. Even waiting for the front row wasn't that bad. Airtime&Gravity
Timber Falls probably has the nicest staff of any park I've been to, and Avalanche has the best ride crew...I mean operator of any coaster I've ridden. They give free re-rides when there is no line, and if you have an all day pass, they will let you ride constantly with out getting out. They will talk about the park, and wait if you want to take some pictures before riding. They will also hot wire the coaster if it gets struck by lightning. I mean, how can you top that? SFGAM almost always has great ride operations, but Viper's crew is easily the best in the park. The members of this crew are always enthusiastic, have a smile on their face, and try to get the riders excited. Whizzer and Eagle also have great operations. Bolliger&Mabillard
I have never had a bad experience at DL or DCA, or any park for that matter. Disney just stands out because the atmosphere is just more family oriented. I think most of people's problems stem from wanting to complain. It's very rare I will encounter a problem so bad that I have to complian about it...but it does happen.

That's consistently the worst crew. I'd say SFGAm is average.
gotdane
Jahan, two words... Safety. Record. But you have a point, on Screamin', it seems like they're just tappin' with two fingers most of the time. However, at Madness, where most of the time, Cast Members ask the Guest to pull up on the lap bars, I'm always yanking up on the lap bar with at least THREE fingers. I hate asking Guests to pull up on the lap bars myself. 75% of the time they look at you as if they have no idea what you're talking about...I'm getting paid to check their restraints, I can pull up on them myself! VivaLaVibora
I want to include no Cedar Fair parks (That's because of #1. They force you to go around even when the park is completely dead.) Since this is a good thread, I will say the following are great operations: Six Flags Over Texas Six Flags Great America Six Flags St. Louis Cypress Gardens Epcot MGM (Hollywood Studios) Animal Kingdom Kiddieland Six Flags Magic Mountain Half mad at Busch Gardens Tampa. They only let you reride the ride twice in a row. Boo to Disneyland and Magic Kingdom for taking the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad train off. Boo to California Adventures for the employee being a totally jerk. Boo to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor (IL) for not having enough rafts in the lazy river, and slides. Boo to Six Flags Over Georgia for less trains, and closing the park early. I said about Six Flags America before.

Just playin Dane! -Jahan From my experiences this past weekend the only restraints they physically touched were Maliboomer and Screamin'. All the others they just said "Push up, push up!" or "Pull on the yellow strap!" Really contributes to their ability to have fast dispatches. QueerRudie
Dollywood- By far. With a full queue house on Tornado, they were able to clear EVERYBODY through in 15 minutes. Amazing BGE: Good if they're paying attention; Seeing Geist Almighty clear a stationhouse with three trains is still awesome to see.
