PCW_Nut
Some photos from Canada's Wonderland preview night. Enjoy and feel free to comment. Thanks Love Cedar Fair's themeing Behemoth sign at night...not a fan of the sign but looks a bit better at night. How many coasters can you count? Wow, you really can get some great shots of this from all over the place. ...I approve...maybe too much The Bat's new color is slowly coming together... Silly name change... Just to show you can see it from the other side of the park... Last years paint job is in serious trouble already. I actually like this name change... See last comment Brand new sign...awww, the same ride is still here though Lots of great areas for photos. Shot from the exit ramp. Front and center baby!!! Love the new train design more then I thought I would. Something about this shot just gets me everytime... The massive line...which goes far beyond this pictures view.. Apparantly the Canadian B&M's come with extra parts For all you wheel and undercarriage lovers... ..and this shot too. Love this shot from the line... Waiting for gates to open
kris182_2000
Some great shots. Can't believe the difference between yesterday and today. I was in and out of Behemoth in less than half an hour today.
PCW_Nut
ya...yesterday was crazy. First ride was a 60min wait, second was 2hr, third was 20min...crazy thing is I ended up on all three trains, red, orange and yellow....
kris182_2000
Lol. What a difference a day makes. The lineup today didn't even span half of the queue line today. We were there at around 3:30pm after we got our passes. I posted a review and you can see the line difference. We couldn't stay still long enough for me to get decent shots from the queue line. But now we know what to expect when the official season starts. I'm just glad I got in when I did, I despise lines Yeah that is crazy that you got on all 3. I didn't quite pay attention to the one we were on.
thecoasterkid
^ How did you get in today? Was it a bank day or something else? I always thought the park was pretty packed even on the bank days. I've heard horror stories about the season pass preview nights before, and from what it looks like they were confirmed on Friday. Those lines look terrible. I'm sadly thinking Behemoth will have to be a ride it first thing in the morning, and then avoid it like the plague the rest of the day, type rides. bgeguy
Nice pics. I, too, didn't think much of the sign, but it looks awesome at night.

I was surprised, we'd only planned on getting our passes and going home, but when we saw the park was open we agreed to ride Behemoth. It was the only one we rode. And yes, it will be quite popular for years to come, I'm sure of that. I would definitely take advantage of an ERT there when they hold one. It wasn't too bad, in and out in about half an hour, the lineup wasn't near as bad as Friday night, although I wasn't there to see that.
denning
Did they just let you in the bank day? or were you an employee.
kris182_2000
Did they just let you in the bank day? or were you an employee. I think they let anyone in yesterday. We bought our passes, got them processed, and when we were done, just walked right in. Pure luck I guess.

Yeah probably, but it was still pretty busy, the parking lot was rather full. Hard to get a spot near the front entrance.

Dleo
I'm sure that it will be popular for a long time. I arrived on Friday night shortly after 6 and promptly got in line, it was about 6:15 and the line was just past the basketball game. I was on by 8:30 and that is including two periods of testing and a short period of about 10 minutes when no trains were going. It looks like they went into high gear after that down period and got alot of people through. Thought the Behemoth crew did a great job considering this was their first night with the public. Plus it was highly amusing watching those people on the trains coming into the final break run screaming "It was worth it!" and cheering. It a great ride that is long overdue for the area. denning
I was talking to one of the supervisors, we were on the last train of the night. The back seats were disabled since one of them would not close and it was causing issues with the computer system, so they had to shut it down for all three trains. Delays were caused they kept trying different policies, re: public with shoes, how to handle large guests who did not fit the restraints, etc, etc. This is the first wonderland ride with three train operation and the first to have any reason for the ops to try and not stack. By the end of the night they had gotten so efficient that they were able to reopen the line that had previoulsy been closed due to fear of lenght. Backlot Stunt Coaster runs three trains. Delays were caused they kept trying different policies, re: public with shoes What do you mean by the "shoes" bit? Referring to people trying to ride with flip-flops? Or something else?
kris182_2000
They want people to be wearing shoes on the ride. I guess people were trying to take their shoes off for the ride like they usually do on Flight Deck.

Kennyweird
This is absolutely pathetic... SFMM has some competition in the "craptacular paint job" category.
