Odd thing I do when playing RCT2

I never use helix pieces; for helices, I use the banked swoop-track. Also, I very rarely use steep twists; the last time I used one was on an Arrow hyper. Does anyone else do this type of thing (avoiding certain elements)?

I guess you could say I do, yes. I think I do it because some elements make the coaster look bad.

What exactly is the swoosh helix? I'm guessing it's the element that's a helix dropping to either the left or right and it comes in a small and large size.

In RCT2, I am referring to what goes by a few names:

 

-- Swoop track (Steve Franks)

-- Banked hills

-- steep helix

 

You basically got it. I use it to create complex rising/falling helices.

 

I use the steep twist on the first drops of my Waterwing coasters, on twist hills on Arrow/Morgan hypers, and on Schwarzkopf coasters.

I never use the steep twist, unless it's a mini acclerator. I also do not use the mini half loop, so it does'nt have enough speed to make it though a large half loop I will not add an inversion.

I will not use an upward or downward turn that is not banked. You know how some coasters it will only allow you to build a non-banked turn. Well I refuse to build those coasters. Is that a bad thing?

^ I didn't. But I went over to my friends house 2 days ago to use her printer because mine ran out of ink and she had RCT1 and we were talking about it and she was all like "I hate the game... take it if you want it." I was all like "Are you for reals?" So I ended up with RCT1 at the end of the day

I rarely make those, but those and B&M flyers would be an obvious exception.
