B&MBoy1982
^ExactlyAnd BTW, i saw a Club TRP member today. Was it you^ lol. That may have been me. How come you did not introduce yourself? I was by myself until about 12:30 when another TPR forum member showed up. I had several people stop and talk to me because of the ClubTPR shirt I had on. It was great, I felt like a celebrity! Anywho... I absolutely loved Skyrush! Got to ride it 10 times, and it is by far my favorite Intamin. It's also my new #1 steel coaster. I loved the feeling of nearly flying out of the seat on just about every turn.
TyRush
^I kind of did!?!? I did acknowledge whoever had the shirt on by saying TPR and they just shook their head. And by then i was holding up the line so i had to run up the steps. Haha. Next time I see a TPR member i will for sure stop. And i wasnt in the best of moods either yesterday. My fault for not introducing myself And yes see, Skyrush still hauls! The lap bar "release" on the break run is very nice. Everyone on the train loved that addition
RideTheEdge
I got the chance to go on Friday! It was awesome as always. Although I was a little disappointed in Skyrush's slowed lift hill, it wasn't as noticeable as I thought it would be. The release of the restraints was nice, and it was kinda funny how some of the guests were alarmed as in "was that supposed to happen!?", haha. It was great to ride my favourite coaster again (and again and again.... :$), I've missed it so much! I'll be back again in August/September. I'm already counting the days, lol <

Ccron10
So after class on Wednesday I decided to stop by the park on my way home and take a lap or two on Skyrush. While there, I found out that the Boardwalk was open so I went out there to check out the new additions and see what Roller Soaker's area now looks like. One of the things that struck me about the renovated area was that there was a lot more seating and that the new Shoreline Sprayground is very approachable. What's cool is that I think that the old footers from the former ride were re-used for the shade structures, judging from their positions. I still haven't had the chance to experience the two new slides yet, but I should be able to in the next day or two. Here are a few photos of the new slides and Sprayground area. When you're walking down this midway, you know it is summer! Roller Soaker's station is still there, but the coaster itself is gone. What was once this... ...is now this. Intercostal Waterway's entrance has been moved down further for more queue space. This building was the ride photo building for Roller Soaker, which was at the ride exit. Some nifty netting has been put around the outside of the former Soaker station. These flags have also been added as well. The food stands from the area near East Coast Waterworks have been moved. Jet Ski! Let's check out one of the new attractions. Welcome to the Shoreline Sprayground! Compared to what this area looked like before... It is absolutely more colorful and uses less concrete. It is also more open and a very approachable attraction as well with no fence surrounding it or limit on how many can visit it. It looks like Soaker's station queue is still there. You now have a more open view of Lightning Racer's far-turn. More seating anyone? The centerpiece of the attraction has to be this tipping-bucket. Attraction and height sign. Here's a photo of just the height sign. Basically anyone can use it. On the other side of the area, an existing water attraction has also received something new for this year. Hydro and Pipeline are now up and running (The orange and yellow slides). The new height sign for the two new slides. The rules are similar to Riptide with riders needing to be at least 42" to ride and 48" to ride alone. Here's the catchpool. Thanks for reading! Once I try out the new slides, I'll post my review of them.
TyRush
Is it just me or does anyone esle think a water type coaster could be put in the next Boardwalk addition, using the old station?
coasterfreak101
^I was wondering, why would they keep the station up if they aren't going to use it again? An LIM slide or something would be great!
A.J.
Are those supports at Shoreline Sprayground leftovers from Roller Soaker?
jedimaster1227
Maybe it is just me, but I find the Sprayground a pretty lackluster replacement, despite the fact that Roller Soaker was a pretty lackluster attraction. Just seems like a huge waste of space... But if there are bigger plans in the works for that corner of the Boardwalk area, it isn't as silly. I can't imagine they left the Roller Soaker station (queue and all) intact if they didn't intend to use it for something requiring a station in the future. A water coaster or master blaster would make sense, and would definitely explain the contained, low height of the Sprayground structures. Also, why in the world do they need these net structures? TyRush
I was wondering what those are too! They look ugly, will see if they are used for something once it opens

I think the Sprayground is an awesome thing for families like me with kids who are too small/scared to do the big slides. It gives them a chance to play and have fun while the bigger ones ride the slides. As for the nets, are they close to any rides or anything where something could come flying at you? Like the nets under Great Bear over the midway paths.....
PennStater
It almost seems like they were originally intended to provide shade, but it sure doesn't look like they would provide any to me... decorations?

rspeck77
Anyone going to be at the park on Thursday the 30th? I want to go but can't find anyone to go with me and I don't want to be the loser walking around the park by myself.
RideTheEdge
I'm honestly really disappointed. I know you all are going to yell/laugh at me, but I actually liked RollerSoaker and I'm glad I got to ride it. I thought it was a unique little coaster. Personally, I don't like water parks, so taking out a coaster for a slide(s) is.... >.> But that's just me. It feels kinda weird (ok, weird isn't the right word, but I don't know what is) how they heavily marketed Skyrush as being the "12th coaster in 2012 being 212 feet tall" and also being announced at 12:12pm (my boyfriend's sister who works at the park gave me her employee 12:12 Rush The Hollow Skyrush shirt *_*) and now it's the 11th coaster, lol. That was my thought process also.....along with what looks to be the turnaround from Tidal Force. Those attractions are quite a distance from the structures. I want think that they didn't get around to putting up the canvas on them yet. I want to say that Soaker's station is reminding me quite a bit like the Sky Ride station in Rhineland: the ride removed out of the station with evidence that there was something there. palmerleeberry
I can see the old station for the defunct Roller Soaker being turned into a ride station for another ride, methinks another water coaster like Holiday World's Wilderbeest if they can figure out the ride's layout around the Boardwalk. I'm sure they may have some plans to use that station or they would had it tore down.
Mr Komar
Hey guys.... I'm going to Hershey in mid June. I was just wondering how crowded it is there at that time and what develops a long line?
