Ccron10
On that last Skyrush photo from the park, I think I found myself in that photo. I pretty much sat on the guardrail while they were lifting it into place in front of the first drop the whole time. I think even with the trees in full-bloom you'll still see Skyrush from Tudor Square (i.e. in front of the Chocolate House). As i was walking down to get those photos from down there, I was competely awe-struck at how tall it looked from there.

Ccron10
If you've been wondering what they've been working on since topping off the lift, here's a small update. http://keystonethrills.megabb.com/t360-hersheypark-skyrush-construction-update-81-2-1-12#6020 Another piece of track was added to the first drop... More creek wall was added... The loading station roof was added... Some decorative rock work seems to have been added to part of the station... And finally, the brake-run track was added. australianalex
I'm getting more and more excited about this, though I probably wont get a chance to ride it until next year or even 2014 :/ But I think this will become the star attraction of Hersheypark, and will probably become one of the greatest coasters in the world. pyrocoasterkid
Is that a trim brake I see on the first drop in that first picture?! I sure hope not. I told myself "no way" but there even appears to be a maintenance platform just below (similar to Mantis). Can anyone who has seen it or has a better picture clarify? Holy crap, welcome to the thread. No, there will be no trims. We asked this question to Kurt Bachmann on our tour the other day and he said there will be no trims on SkyRush. So sorry, but your hunch is wrong.

Ccron10
So much to see in this latest update on Skyrush's construction. From supports to brake-run to lift hill and more so let's get to the update! http://keystonethrills.megabb.com/t361-hersheypark-skyrush-construction-update-82-2-3-12#6022 Not Skyrush related, but still cool none the less. This cool interactive exhibit popped up within the last day or two and is choked full of candybrand, history, inforation, timelines, photos, and recipies and you can email it to your personal email address from it. I spent over 5 minutes playing around with it and I still didn't finish seeing everything on it. I recomend trying it out the next time you are at Chocolate World! Fooz
Nice to see some further layout developments after a long few weeks of lift-only work. The station is changing daily too! The comet hollow will be one energetic place with the lift, brakes, and dip into the brakes all so close to the walkway. Its not often you see the entrances to 3 coasters right next to each other, either. It's a bit strange to see this type of lift from this angle though, MF and i305 aren't visible from the lift-side of the station. That's where we'll be queuing too, I believe. Tanks4me05
Did anyone else notice the "LOL" where I placed the red arrows? That doesn't look like a 101 to me.
coasterlover420
^It looks like L02 for 'lift-2'
eddie200330
So with everyone down in Comer Hollow, this should leave Storm Runner and the rest of the coasters out that way pretty much walk ons now I would think. Also, CCron, with all of your time spent there have you seen anything of the new looper trains?

XYZ
Wow, this coaster really fits well with its surroundings. Also, I see that catwalk underneath the top of the lift, probably another new innovation as I don't think I305 has that.

belo777
Seeing Skyrush in person many times, it is definitely 85*. No doubt about it.
sammmmmy
Okay it shouldn't even be a discussion whether its 85º or not because it is and they're not going to say it is if it wasn't.

Thom25
I couldn't agree more. At first I was a bit disappointed, mostly due to the video. But now thanks to these on-site videos, you can tell this bad boy is build for speed and intensity, while the head and foot chopers are a welcome surprise. I can not wait to ride Skyrush, because at this point, it looks like a world class ride imho.
