Hersheypark (HP) Discussion Thread

N.B. I never said it was going to be multi looper, I am just saying I think it will have inversion(s). I think it would be really cool to have an Intamin airtime machine with an intense inline twist (like the one on blue fire Megacoaster at Europa Park).

To back up Alpengeistfan1's point:

Roller Coaster at New York, New York Hotel & Casino

Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain

Dragon Mountain at Marineland Theme Park

Just wondering, what were the flashing letters on the "Ride Institute" page under "Studies" for? I see a blue m, orange V, yellow 2, and a green B at the bottom right of the page.

I know this might be an outdated question, I was just curious.

Jarmor, you really had me going with your logic until I counted the spaces myself and came up with 11. I think you forgot to count the very last space and as someone else posted, it could say "Negative Gs"

Yeah, I forgot about the extra space! At first I was thinking "negative g"??? But that beats inversions in my book!

Anjlover, I don't think or recall the significance of flashing letters being determined. Now that blue track has arrived, the letters may mean nothing, while the colors themselves could represent the track, support, and trains.

Hey guys, I used to be a member here, but I forgot my login, and Pasword. I will probably make a trip down to Hersheypark to see if there is anything new down there, I will take pictures if there is. I forgot to mention I live about five minutes away, and work there so updates will be easy.

Update: Nothing going on just the same supports, in the same place.

^ An update every couple days would suffice for now but when real vertical construction starts we will need daily updates, thanks. You will be compensated with nothing and may often be ridiculed for not providing enough photos or the right angles but you would be taking one for the team. That satisfaction could carry you through the coming days.

Sounds like you have done this before. Kudos for telling it like it is. Gotta love people who complain about free stuff!

I know Hey if I am right here next to Hershey, might as well try to be nice and do something.

Well, it might not be verbally appreciated, but I am sure it is still appreciated. I rememeber when I did Storm Runner coverage. Not a soul said anything positive, but my passion for coasters made it a labor of love. Can't wait to see some vertical construction!

Anyone interested in stopping by and paying him a visit?

Damn my being on the wrong side of the country- and the wrong side of the planet right now... I'm wondering what sort of 'clue' those will be- or for that matter, if anybody will get one 'digitally'?

Sort of just registered only for the sake of talking about the 12th rollercoaster. Anyway, I saw posts about this, but didn't notice the double negative...

RIT categorically denies any and all noninvolvement with a "viral marketing campaign" in 2012, and vociferously disputes any non-association, implied or otherwise, with "fake web pages, hidden messages, foreign languages, and symbolism."

Then again, it could just be a typo...

Also, clay01.php's picture is called claytonLetter01.jpg. This may help.
