megalyte
I also think the whole 12 thing is: A) The 12th coaster at Hersheypark B) The year it opens (2012) Also, I noticed the "alloy" which is called RC12, could potentially stand for Roller Coaster 12. But what interests me is that Thrope Park's new for 2012 B&M wingrider is codenamed "LC12".
coasterfreak101
Just throwing it out there, but LaMarcus Thompson invented the original switchback railway at Coney Island. Maybe this'll have some sort of first? I couldn't imagine what it could be, but you never know - a wing-walker style hyper?

Blatch
But what interests me is that Thrope Park's new for 2012 B&M wingrider is codenamed "LC12". Okay, I honestly don't know what a flying fork on a trycicle why "LC12" is the codename for Thope's new coaster. To me, "LC" means a "Launch Coaster" while they're obviously getting a Wing-Rider. Maybe using a similar name could mean a similar type of coaster... a 212-foot wing rider, anyone? X2 (4-D coaster we have here) goes up 175 feet, then drops 215 feet. Hell, Eejanaika goes up a whole 250 feet, bigger than what Hershey should be building, so it's very possible to have a ride type with that size. StarTrekGeek
^I actually thought of that when I first heard of Attraction 2012 last year. I was thinking it could be America's first B&M Wing Coaster. However, now I'm starting to think that this is an Intamin Hyper (though the Wing Coaster is my second option).
QueerRudie
I'm finding some amusement in this site myself, the depth of it is rather astounding- but I sort of think there's a level of 'whimsy' to this as well. Perhaps (just for shits and grins here) it's a site designed to pump more 'air' into things, that is, throw off the trail for a bit? We're still more than 10 weeks out before 'announcement' (If there ever IS one!) and there's more time to tell the tale. I guess the best thing to see is 'wait and see' R.D. QueerRudie
(1 of 12)- OK: Twelve weeks to 'rollout' Twelve weeks to figure out more clues. BTW: The second 'pdf' is also similar to the first one: THe first was ch01.pdf, the second ch02.pdf- perhaps we've got another 'internal' clue? R.D. A.J.
Jan Van Der Velde posted the following picture on facebook. It appears to have been taken next to the Lightning Racer gate. Yes, that looks like Intamin supporting - looks like one of Intimidator-305's upper supports (track joint on one end, support connection on the other) - four holes on each edge for connector bolts. I'm such a nerd.

eddie200330
Does this seem earlier than normal for stuff to start showing up? And wouldn't they try to get the parts closer to the main construction area as opposed to the opposite side of the park?
Skycoastin Steve
^Dollywood track is already showing up. And parks usually just stage track wherever there is room to stage it. Maverick was kept a couple miles away in a field next to Breakers Express Hotel, and I-305 was kept in a gravel parking lot in front of KD (which is pretty far from the actual ride site). Absolutely an Intamin though. This is most excellent news, indeed!

PhantomNick
^^^ Hershey AND Dollywood in one trip? Hmmmm..... I am thrilled to see that the new Hersheypark coaster is an Intamin! How awesome would a "Hyper-Megalite" be? I'm gonna take a guess and say yellow track on those baby blue supports. Can't wait for the official announcement on this one!
